Hey everyone, quick update. Unfortunately my laptop died I was on 207:(, the last episode I backed up was 203 - But the death of a laptop is a catalyst for change, so while I have to go back to 204, maybe I can do things differently and better! Aw, man, sorry to hear that bud. Glad you were able to find a silver-lining though. I am currently wrapping up the finale of PL Season One, then it's onto the dreaded editing. Lol. Been working on the main story for Season Two. Looking forward to sitting down and really fleshing it out over Christmas. I'm getting excited and nervous about this finale. An actual season I have finished... say what? Lol. What's everyone else working on?

So I have completely mapped out the finale episode of the first season of Paradise Lost on my phone. Usually I type it out in a Word document but, for some reason I was inspired at 3am when I couldn't sleep, and used the closest device. Of course it's divided under 3 different notepad files, because my phone would only allow so many characters under one notepad. But, this got me thinking, am I the only one who has ever used an unusual method to map out an episode of their series? What's your weirdest medium used?

Happy Pride everybody! I haven't done nearly enough to celebrate this month as I've been super busy but I did take a bunch of friends out to some LGBTQ+ friendly bars this weekend who have never been before. Fun times all around. I love watching people get out of their comfort zones and just have fun without feeling judged. I've also been watching some queer movies and tv shows. I binged Gameboys (Just to name one) on Netflix recently. It's definitely not in English but when I tell you I haven't cried that much in so long... damn. Not a sad show overall but it definitely hit the feels. Haha! Loved it a lot. OMG! I am obsessed with Gameboys. I am not-so-patiently waiting for Season Two and there is a film. I can't wait!

I watched Psycho Goreman recently and would definitely recommend it. It's a pretty goofy movie about this monster coming to Earth hellbent on destroying it and how his plans get foiled by a young girl and her brother because they find a stone that controls him. It's just a fun sci-fi/horror comedy. Here's a trailer for it that obviously sells it better than I can: ( X) That looks hilarious! I will definitely need to watch it.

Gonna go ahead and list 5 shows I've been loving recently: - Hacks (HBO Max) - "A dark mentorship forms between Deborah Vance, a legendary Las Vegas comic, and an entitled, outcast 25-year-old comedy writer." Truly one of the funniest shows I've seen in a good bit. Jean Smart is an absolute queen, and this show is manically good, and the chemistry between the two leads is superb. The season has completed and it's been renewed for a second one!
- Lupin (Netflix) - "A retelling of the classic French story about Arsène Lupin, the world-famous gentleman thief and master of disguise." One of the most exciting shows I've ever seen. The energy and pacing is absolutely out of this world, and there are so many cool twists, turns, plot points that I couldn't stop watching either parts. The 2nd part of the season was just released on Netflix.
- Special (Netflix) - "A young gay man with cerebral palsy branches out from his insular existence in hopes of finally going after the life he wants." Suuuuuuuch a wonderful, wholesome, funny, and touching show on Netflix. It's second and final season was released a few weeks back. And it also has one of the most well-written mother/son relationships I've ever seen in television.
- Pose (FX) - "In the New York of the late 80s and early 90s, this is a story of ball culture and the gay and trans community, the raging AIDS crisis and capitalism." I have never been so attached to fictional characters in my life! Every single character is so fully realized with so many layers and complexities, and the found family they all share is absolutely stunning. The series finale just aired a couple of weeks ago, and I sobbed like a baby. Give MJ Rodriguez an Emmy nom ASAP!
- Girls5EVA (Peacock) - "A one-hit-wonder band from the '90s gets a second shot at fame when a young rapper samples their song." Another really delightful gem of a comedy. The entire cast is so funny and the songs they sing are actually super catchy. This just has a short one season for right now, so I'm hoping for me!
Anybody checked any of these shows out? If you haven't, I absolutely recommend all of them! Special & Girls5EVA are hilarious! I honestly can't believe Sara Barielles is as funny as she is. Special season two was great! Even better than the first. So, I look forward to future episodes if they continue that trajectory.
