^THIS! Yes, exactly how I felt. I would then make a last minute change/decision thinking it would fix the repetitiveness I felt, but it usually made it worse. I've now decided to finish this chapter of the story and then make big changes in season two.
It's great that you're so on top of it though! Got to strike while the iron is hot. Good luck with Season Three!!

It feels good to be writing again. It's been too long. This past year has been a pretty rough one. I couldn't focus to save my life. However, just writing one scene feels like a victory to me. It's also given me that small spark of passion for the project I was worried I would never get back. I've also been keeping random ideas for films that have popped up in my head over the last year, stuff that makes me excited. I'm ready to finish this season of Paradise Lost and do so other new projects. Exciting stuff for me.
How is everyone else doing? Hope all is going well.

EXCLUSIVE: MATT BARR JOINS THEVPN'S SUPERNATURAL DRAMA News broke early this evening that MATT BARR (Sleepy Hollow, Valor) would be joining the cast of theVPN's supernatural drama Paradise Lost. Barr is set to play Solomon, an Archangel corrupted by our resident Serpent, Leviathan. Barr will make his first appearance in 1.07 - The Serpent Seed. When approached, Showrunner DARRIN MCCANN had this to say 'We're very excited to have Matt join our cast as a recurring character in this second half of our first season.' When asked what we could expect from Solomon, McCann stated 'Expect the unexpected. Solomon is wildcard. He is attached to no faction, no rules, he lives by his own, and sometimes he doesn't even do that. He is one of those villains you will love to hate.' Well, that is the first two scenes of the second Act of this episode that has been a slow burn for quite a while. Work, Life, Blockage, blah, blah, blah. But, what I lack in speed I make up for in quality. I'm really happy with how these scenes have come out, in fact, I am really happy with this episode as a whole so far. I really need to put aside an hour or two a night to write. I think it would help a lot. Just needed to check in because this felt like a victory to me.

After months of the dreaded writer's block, I am finally back at it. Feeling artistically refreshed and ready to finish the first season of PL. I did something in the midseason finale that really threw my series bible for a loop but I am glad I did it because that 'easy way out' was becoming too stagnant for me. I have now found a compromise I can live with so that I can finish this first season. It feels good to be accomplishing something. Lol.
