CREATOR'S NOTES:
I really love how Riverdale took the characters from the Archie Comics, modernized them and added the gritty murder factor. It would be somewhat like that. The format would basically be Kim stopping mad scientists, demented inventors and psychotic engineers, things of that sort; Every other episode would be a Dr. Drakken and Shego episode while the in-between episodes would be one-off villains but overall it would have a serial format with an ongoing story arc.
PREMISE:
Set in 2017; Middleton, Colorado is one of three cities in the Tri-City area. A quiet, suburban town where nothing ever happens; It's a modern, planned community in the new urban Utopian mold. Parkways, porches and picket-fences define the landscape. It also happens to be the home of Kim Possible, who is excited to start her Junior year at Middleton High School with her bestfriends Ron and Monique. Little to their knowledge, Kim is a secret spy working with her friend, Wade, busy stopping people from trying to destroy or take over the world while finishing her latest homework assignment. But things get serious when a new mad scientst, Dr. Drakken starts harassing Middleton.
Main Cast;
Katherine McNamara as Kimberly Ann "Kim" Possible;
THE SPY. 16. A secret spy and high school cheerleading captain who saves the world on a regular basis while dealing with the normal challenges of being a teenager, such as winning cheer competitions, turning in her homework on time, and maintaining a love life. A student at Middleton High School, she is popular and beautiful, as well as an excellent student. She has low self-esteem and her rivalry with Bonnie doesn't help that very much. Kim has known Ron Stoppable, her bestfriend, since preschool but she still hasn't told him her secret.
- Oblivious to the fact Ron has a crush on her.
- She has a biometric suit and her communicator is a hologram watch, both made by Wade.
Kenton Duty as Ronald "Ron" Stoppable;
THE OUTCAST. 17. Ron is, unlike Kim, a cowardly, goofy, clumsy, and accident-prone teenager. Ron is not as popular as Kim is and is often ridiculed and ignored by his peers, especially by Bonnie. Ron was sheltered by his parents as a kid, and has anxiety at times. He also has many quirky fears; monkeys, insects, boats among many other things. He does have his own talents, though. He's a great chef, a born to be comedian and is a great runner; although he was kicked off the track team for never showing up.
- Has a crush on Daphne.
- Has a naked mole rat as a pet, since his father is allergic since his father is allergic to any type of fur.
Dexter Darden as Wade Duncan;
THE GENIUS. 15. Wade is a fifteen-year-old genius who completed his high school and college education in eight months. He supplies Kim with various gadgets, gives her missions through her Communicator and arranges her transportation. He often relays information to her, searches for information for her, and performs programming feats. Kim hasn't told Ron nor her parents about Wade, as she want's to keep every aspect of her Spy life a secret, just as Wade hasn't told his parents about Kim. Wade lives on the other side of the state, and never leaves his home due to his Agoraphobia.
- Him and Kim met in an online chatroom.
- Per Kim's request, Wade has secretly placed a tracking microchip on Kim's parents, Ron and Monique.
Alan Van Sprang as Dr. Drakken;
THE MAD SCIENTIST. 46. The main antagonist of the series. He is a blue-skinned mad-scientist and super-villain obsessed with world domination. His real name is Drew Theodore P. Lipsky, and he was Kim's father, Dr. James Timothy Possible, old college friend until an accident her father caused changed his skin and warped his mind. James blamed the whole incident on Drew, and Drew ended up dropping out and becoming a villain in order to assuage his wounded ego and get revenge. A capable scientist, able to construct sentient robots, super-lasers, beam cannons, and other such "evil" technologies, he becomes Kim's greatest foe.
- Hired Shego off the Black Market as muscle.
- Wears a white lab coat w/ goggles.
Eiza González as Shego;
THE MUSCLE. 26. The villainess with the ability to generate bright green energy from her hands that can stun, burn, melt, cut through the strongest metals and deliver concussive force. Shego is Dr. Drakken's, for lack of a better word, sidekick and is by far Kim's most dangerous enemy. She is wanted in eleven countries for murder, theft and kidnapping. She is highly skilled in several forms of martial arts and is so stealthy she's known in the criminal underworld as the 'Green Ninja'. Shego's true backstory is a mystery, everytime anyone ask's she tells a different story each time. Shego knows how a 'teenaged brat' acts, and teases Kim about looks, fashion and boys; knowing that's what hurts the most.
- Sarcastic, witty and nearly just as intelligent as Drakken.
- Wears a green and black bodysuit.
Supporting Cast;
Yara Shahidi as Bonnie Rockwaller;
THE SNOB. 16. Kim's classmate at Middleton High School and her rival in almost every aspect, Bonnie has a dismissive and superior attitude toward Kim, Ron, and people in general, whom she generally considers to be beneath her. She is constantly concerned with the high school's "food chain," and her standing on it which she apparently perceives is challenged by Kim's position as the school cheerleading captain as well as her general popularity. Unbeknownst to anyone, Bonnie has two older sisters that treat her worse than Bonnie treats the school, they constantly make her feel little about herself.
- Has a crush on Josh Mankey.
- She want's to take Kim down and steal her spot as cheerleading captain.
Jessica Sula as Monique Fox;
THE BESTFRIEND. 17. She's a a very no-nonsense person. She is Kim's best girl friend, giving her level-headed advice about school and life, and serves as a good counterbalance to Ron's out-of-touch eccentricities. She is a senior, being one grade ahead of both Kim and Ron. Monique is smart and hip, as her mother is a fashion designer, and she tends to wear the latest fashion trends; She often let's Kim shops at her mother's store for free. She usually speaks in a style which Kim describes as "Monique-speak", acronyms, such as "NBF" (new best friend) and "GF" (girlfriend).
- Although she is friend's with Kim, Bonnie is actually pretty nice towards her.
- She has various self defense class training.
Dacre Montgomery as Josh Mankey;
THE QUARTERBACK. 18. A senior and the quarterback on Middleton's football team, but he's not your typical jock. Once a Australian exchange student, he moved to America full time for his Senior year. He's very sweet and kind, and has a laid-back easy personality. He's very oblivious to the fact that nearly every girl in the school is crushing on him. He's Kim's love interest and major crush.
- Ron dislikes him, although he actually likes Ron, nicknaming him 'Ronny'.
- Has zero interest in Bonnie.
Patrick Warburton as Steven Barkin;
THE TEACHER. 53. The strict teacher at Middleton High. A former military lieutenant, he's hard on students, not tolerating tardiness, absences or late work. He has a quirk of referring to students by their last names. His least favorite student is Kim Possible, who is constantly late to classes and turning in assignments late. He is very hostile and pressing, having a hard time letting the littlest mistakes or accidents go.
- Has a 'frenemy' type relationship with Ron.
- He's the football coach.
