I'm not too sure on this pitch. The premise is underdeveloped, and I can't really find a clear direction in which you want this series to be going. I really can't say much about this pitch because of that fact. I suggest adding a clear synopsis and expanding on your idea a little more.

I agree with Aimee. This seems like it hasn't been completely thought through. I'd suggest thinking on it a bit more and planning it out, then pitching it again with more details.

This is an idea I've seen done many times -- a Slayer academy, or an army of slayers, both dealing with the supernatural side of their life as well as the normal. I think it lacks a certain originality to it, because of the amount of times its been done. Perhaps you could turn this into something new? Its been a while since we've had a Jossverse pitch, and we have been getting a lot of "spin off" type pitches, so I'm definitely not against the idea of a BtVS spin off, but I've never been a fan of following a group of slayers that pretty much do the same thing we saw on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, only instead of there being ONE, there's THREE or FOUR.
Some of the episode ideas seem pretty interesting - you could elaborate a lot more on them, as suggested above, but still, some seem like pretty good ideas. A zombie episode, where one has to deal with the return of their dead Watcher? Now that would make a great episode! I think if you worked on this pitch a lot more, showed us who these characters were, the direction and purpose of this series in a more detailed way, then this is something I could get my head around more. Personally, I think your concept could be something that doesn't NEED to be jossverse -- young people dealing with the supernatural, as well as juggling normal lives with normal problems. Creating something of your own means getting the chance to build your own mythology, and if thats something you're interested in, I'd love to see it!
All that said, if this is a pitch you're seriously considering turning into more, then I'd love to see some more details involved, and will be looking forward to the pilot! I haven't read a BtVS/Jossverse related series in a while -- the Slayer Academy on MZP is probably one of the best I've read.

Yup, agree with all the above... especially that part about cutting loose the Jossverse ties. Now it could just be me being bitter, but I've personally grown pretty tired of Buffy spin-offs and I think this could easily be developed into something more original.

I think it's difficult following up on a successful and iconic show like Buffy.
First, at the moment their isn't a lot to go on from the pitch. Got a title, a little info and cast and a line or two about some episodes. I think needs more development before much can be decided about this idea.
I read the little teaser wrote on your site, and was alright. Only issue I got with it is, it's very similar to the opening of Buffy episode 1? Okay, you turned the ending around in yours. I think it's hard to know how to open a show sometimes.
If it's a project for College, work on it some more, see how you develop it - write more, episode guide, characters guide etc and show it here and get some more feedback on it and who knows, if comes across well I'm sure no matter what could still be accepted as a show. But from the little on it so far, I think it's hard to know what to make of it until know much more.

Good luck on your class assignment, I hope it goes well for you. If it is truly something you are going to pursue even after the project then bring it to the VPN, I know I would not mind taking a lot at the project. If you are truly passionate about doing something related to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, why don't you try a storyline that is more original? There are so many routes that writers can take with Buffy that have not been beaten to death yet. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of my favorite TV shows, so seeing it live on in people's minds makes me happy. If you have an idea, just go with it!
