Fringe is an American science fiction television series created by J. J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. The series follows a Federal Bureau of Investigation "Fringe Division" team based in Boston, Massachusetts under the supervision of Homeland Security. The team uses unorthodox "fringe" science and FBI investigative techniques to investigate a series of unexplained, often ghastly occurrences, which are related to mysteries surrounding a parallel universe.

Are you a fan of this show. If so, what is your favorite season, storyline, and/or character so far?

This is my all time favorite show.....of all time. Double NEGATIVE! Because it is just that freaking good. <333 First season was the best, for absolute sure. However, second season was a GREAT follow up. I just like that first season had a lot more creatures and second season had a lot more pathogens. However, both are spectacular in my eye.

Third season? ...... -sighs- I am not sure what they are thinking, but I REALLY hope this is all a means to an end. Cause so far... not impressed. In fact... I am kind of.... I don't know, I feel let down. These aren't the characters I fell in love with and know. They are different, because they are from a different time-line. So I don't connect with them like I did the first and second season. I want them to either get Peter back or give us some kind of freaking closure. FOR GOD'S SAKE!

I'm still stuck on season one of Fringe, and so far, Peter is my favorite character. Walter comes in an extremely close 2nd, but I just think Peter is really cool.

The Observers are my favorite characters. I love them!!! But Walter is my faves of the main cast!

I want to try and catch up with this show before Season Five begins. I'm still on 1x11, I think. It's a good series; I'm really liking it, but I just keep forgetting to actually sit down and watch the damned show.

Chris, get through season 1. It's easily the worst of the lot. Once you get to around halfway through season 2, you'll be addicted. And you'll never look back.

Fringe Teases its Final Episode with a New Poster

Fox is set to air the final episode of "Fringe" this Friday, January 18 and have, today, revealed a teaser poster for the two-hour event. Check it out below, courtesy of TV Line.

Throughout all five seasons of "Fringe", the series has followed Special Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv), enlisted institutionalized "fringe" scientist Walter Bishop (John Noble) and his globe-trotting, jack-of-all-trades son, Peter (Joshua Jackson) as the Fringe team explored mysterious occurrences linked between parallel universes, doppelgängers, Observers and unimaginable threats. The unlikely trio supervised by Special Agent Phillip Broyles (Lance Reddick) and assisted by Astrid Farnsworth (Jasika Nicole) - often led them to science and technological corporation Massive Dynamic, founded by William Bell (guest star Leonard Nimoy), and its enigmatic chief executive, Nina Sharp (Blair Brown).

The fifth and final flash-forward season of FRINGE is set in 2036, when the "Observers" have become ruthless rulers of a dystopian society. As the battle for the world's future continues to unfold, the Fringe team is in the midst of making its final stand to save humanity.

I just started this show a week back, because I got the Season One boxset for Christmas. I find it's a little bit like a more scientific, contemporay X-Files. I'm only on the 3rd episode but I love this show already;I'm so sad that I know it's going to end. My favourite character has to be Olivia by far, with Walter second.

I agree with Carey! Fringe is one of my favourite series! I started watching it a few weeks before the 5th started. Sometimes, you get confused, it's always a little bit more complicated, but it is what I like in this show! And the relationships between all the characters are great!
