I might have to read it now, just to see how she ends up handling everything.

Lets just say...She handles everything like any person who lost all of her friends, her mentor, and the love of her life.lol So is the characters from Outcasts sort of based off of the Ultimate universe

MOST of them are, yes. Kristen, Jean, and Bobby quite a bit. Xavier is a little bit of every universe XD as is Melanie. But Melanie is...she's based off Peter (of course) as well as May Parker (from Amazing Spider-Girl). So she's got a bit of both Spidey generations.

So I'm Pretty Much asking this Question since Aimee is busy WHAT STORY LINE FROM EITHER SPIDER MAN COMICS OR XMEN COMICS DO YOU WANT PLAYED OUT ON OUTCASTS?

I'm not sure there is a certain story line from the comics I'd want to see. I'm more than happy to just sit back and read the show as everything unfolds. I do like the idea of the Sentinels eventually showing up, but that awesome shit right there is 'final' season kind of material. I trust the writers of this show and the producers enough to know that whatever storyline they put out there, new or old, it will be amazing. xD

Aww, Jack! XD I think I can safely say that you guys won't be let down. We have a lot up our sleeves, added special twists and all other types of goodies that you guys are bound to love. There are a few I'm looking forward too myself, but we have to get through this season first XD

Also...let me tell you. Writing probability-altering powers into a script is a bigger bitch than Emma Frost.

Despite Jean's place in this episode (which I've been looking forward to from the minute I heard about The Outcasts) I have to admit that I didn't like this episode as much as the last. It may have been the fight scenes, since I'm more of an emotional drama girl than an action girl, but I preferred Seeing Red. But that isn't to say I didn't thoroughly enjoy The Demons Among Us.
I do have a few issues with this episode. First, the inclusion of Jean's little escape scene seemed unnecessary, and a little pointless. After that, I see the doctors being even more reluctant to let her leave. Granted, we didn't see how convincing Xavier would have been with them, or what they had to say about that particular event, either.
Secondly, was the inclusion of Jean and Karin in the battle with Petra and William. From where I was sitting, they had only just been accepted into the ranks of the X-Men. It had been previously stated that they didn't have a very good handle on their powers just yet, and as far as I'm aware, there was no training or even an explanation into what the X-Men did, which I would have expected from Xavier. Granted, it would have been repetitive to show him explaining this super hero team in every episode, to every new team member. But the fact that there was no discussion as to whether or not they should be able to go on the mission did not sit well with me.
On a positive note, I did like that MJ was not completely forgotten in this episode. The scene with Spider-Girl at the end had the emotional drama in there for me, and I liked the fact that the relationship between Kristen and Mary-Jane seems to be at breaking point. I didn't say this in my last review, at the risk of sounding critical and just plain against the Kristen/MJ relationship, but it's been bothering me that they seem to only be together because it'll create drama later on. I don't see any reason for them to be together otherwise. Maybe I'm just being purposefully blind, but I see no chemistry there at all.
Overall, I did enjoy this episode. More for the inclusion of Jean, who I think was done very well. I've never read Ultimate X-Men, but I do like how she was portrayed here. She will definitely bring some competition for Spider-Girl into the wit department, which I think will bring some laughs for the audience later on.

I do have a few issues with this episode. First, the inclusion of Jean's little escape scene seemed unnecessary, and a little pointless. After that, I see the doctors being even more reluctant to let her leave. Then, we didn't see how convincing Xavier would have been with them, or what they had to say about that particular event. Jean’s escape was to kind of show that she doesn’t like waiting, she doesn’t like being kept locked up and she was getting to a breaking point. Even though she knew she could be getting out soon, she just couldn’t wait. We didn’t show Xavier and his talks because it was later implied that it took “hours”, so he was hard at work. Xavier also stated that her documentation was faked, and the only reason she was in there was because of her father, which would have made it easier to convince the doctors. The main problem was Jean’s father. However, thank you for your feedback on that particular scene. ^^ We’ll take it into consideration if we run into this again, and try to explain things a little better. I see exactly what you mean with this. However, a point I should make is that none of them are “X-Men” yet. At this point, they’re all little minions of Spider-Girl and Xavier, as bad as that sounds XD Karin should have had more reasoning, and I put that down to bad planning on mine and Maddie’s part. We got rushed and completely forgot about it. Jean, however, has more of a handle of her abilities than any of them (of the mutants, I mean). It was stated that she had been working with Xavier for a few years, so she has a good handle on her abilities. But yes, Karin definitely needed more explanation and I apologize for that awful misstep. We put two specific scenes in there to try and shed light on the MJ/Kristen relationship. Granted, it was in no way supposed to make them likeable or give them chemistry, it was simply to show that Kristen wasn’t always a jackass, and at one point they did have chemistry and they did work out. But as you see MJ point out, she, too feels that here is “no meaning” to the relationship. This was done on purpose, I assure you XD As for the action and emotional drama, I have to say now that if you’re looking for the emotional drama part, you’ll have to put up with a lot of the action. XD This is Spidey and the X-MEN, after all. It wouldn’t be the same without the ass-beating. I’m glad you liked her! We’ve been looking forward to “revealing” her for a while now. While I’m a little disappointed myself in how this episode turned out, I’m still very much excited for Jean and more so now that you like it. She will definitely be bringing in some competition in the wit department for poor Spidey, but she can handle her own, I’d say. As always, thanks for the review! ^^ We appreciate it

Alright, Demons Among Us is being taken down. It's going under a quick revision and will be reposted. It was too big of an issue to ignore. I apologize.

Okay. The episode has been reposted with an altered scene. Again, I apologize. It's just been a mess and...I couldn't let that slip.
EDIT: For those who have already read it, the scene that was changed (so you don't have to go looking) is the one right before the Petra and William fight scene, where all the mutants and Spidey are with Xavier in the main room.
