An original WEBISODE SERIES developed by Jason T. Davis
"The gates of hell are open. Lucifer's army has scorched the Earth. Mankind is doomed. Yet we stand."
On the day of December 21st, 2012, the world began to have quick and sudden tremors. Strange. Every major city of the world, having tremors at the same time? An event that proved to be an icebreaker after what soon followed. As the sun went down, the Earth began to crack, releasing the souls from the underworld into our streets; into ours homes. Vicious, demented creatures that called themselves "demons". Many were killed that day, hell, more than many. They took out 75% of the Earth's population.
But, right when the world lost all hope, word spread among Earth's survivors of seven people who decided to fight back. Seven people who possess the willpower and the skills to stand against a legion of demons. What the world did not know was that these people are angels, who have been living among them all this time; Archangels.
This webisode series follows the journey of two out of the seven archangels. Michael (Luke Evans) and Gabriel (Rhona Mitra), along with the humans, demons and other angels they meet along the way. As they travel the world, preserving life and slaying as many demons as they can, they must search for an answer to end this war before the entire human race is eradicated, and Lucifer unlocks the gates to Heaven.

CAST & CHARACTERS
Michael (Luke Evans) is strong willed, determined and all about the service of god. Of all the angels, Michael is known as the most powerful and most respected. He always knew this "Day of Reckoning" would come. Before Lucifer's army invaded Earth, he was spending his nights, and a good amount of his days, drinking, although being an angel strips him of the ability to get intoxicated. His outlook on the human race, and the world in general, is simple one of "tolerance." Some may say he was waiting for the war to begin; waiting for his existence living among mankind to come to an end, so that he could once against have purpose. Whatever that means.
Gabriel (Rhona Mitra) has been known to possess many faces, male and female. She can be described as an exact opposite of "Michael." She is compassionate and open-minded. She considers the human race to be God's greatest creations, and was genuinely honored to walk among them. Just before the attack, she was to be married, however, she is forced to leave that life behind to fight back Lucifer's Army. She was unable to save her fiancé from a demon horde, and since witnessing his death, she struggles with keeping her human emotion in check.

MISCELLANEOUS/NOTES
Official Theme Song: "World On Fire," by Les Friction
I said I wouldn't pitch this series until I completed the first webisode, but I caved. Sue me! haha! Basically, this is a reboot of my first virtual series of the same name. The original pitch can be found here. Some things have changed, like others remain the same. I'm new to scriptwriting, and since working on the original "Archangel" project, I've pitched a few more shows to this network, and even wrote a pilot for MZPtv; one of which I'm still re-writing (don't know how long that'll take). But I wanted to start this project to sort of test the waters of the webisode format, as I think it's a GREAT starting point for new writers wanting to dip into VS. That being said, I hope you enjoy this pitch. I know the first one, to anyone who remembers it from before, was pretty good (so I've been told). So, I hope I've lived up to it with this reworked version! More details and updates will be added to the pitch as they come to me. I'm still in the process of writing the pilot and outlining the rest of the first sequence. Thanks for reading!
