Bates Motel is an American drama television series developed
for television by Carlton Cuse, Kerry Ehrin and Anthony Cipriano for
A&E. The series, inspired by the novel Psycho by Robert Bloch and Alfred
Hitchcock's film of the same name, depicts the life of Norman Bates and his
mother Norma prior to the events portrayed in Hitchcock's film. After the death
of her husband, Norma purchases a motel located in the coastal town of White

This show premiered on Monday night. And I have to say, I LOVE it already. I've always been a fan of Hitchcock's 1960 classic,'Psycho,' so when I heard about this show I was pretty excited. Episode one already set up that creepy atmosphere, between the set and the characters. So, I'm really excited to see more of this show.

I want to check this out and I will have to tonight...hopefully! I think it would be one of those shows that I like. I like scary mixed with drama mixed with creepiness and already knowing the saga and knowing how it turns out. Now we get to see how they got there - LOVE it! And hopefully I will love it!
