The VPN forum was created on this day - five years ago; But it did not officially open its doors to the public until October 29th, 2008! Through the years, the network has seen its share of great virtual series and truly gifted writers. It's been a platform for writers and readers to discuss, to support, and to collaborate with one another; to give feedback, whether it be praiseful or critical, for one another's work. A place where real and lasting relationships were developed and strive to this day. It's even had three different homes! Needless to say, The VPN has been a place with countless ups, and countless downs, but a place that continues to move forward, with a never-ending, impenetrable vision for a better future.
The VPN turns FIVE this month, and our staff is working on a number of projects to acknowledge and celebrate that; including but not limited to;
October will be a big month, and the 29th will be a big day, as we'll be bringing something new and special to the The VPN, to hopefully begin a new phase for the future of the network.
Whether you joined the forum last week, or have been here since the very beginning, we honor all of you today. The VPN community, who are the very reason the network still exists and continues to grow and learn each day. Whether or not you are familiar with VPN's history, you're welcome to join in on the discussions to be introduced in the following weeks, leading up to the anniversary.
