PLOT

EXCALIBUR. Beyond the police and outside any small time government task force. Created back in the dark ages by a sorcerer of great power, Excalibur deals with the supernatural side to the world as they try to keep the existence of magic,vampire,demons and various other threats underwraps. Excalibur has dealt with many situations, Supernatural or normal.

London 2012

After the death of his sister Melanie Harker, Detective John Harker (Ben Barnes), investigates the murders of several young women that are popping up around the city drained of all there blood. After following a tip, John encounters Excalibur. After this moment, John's learns about the things that go bump in the night and that his greater destiny is just beginning....

CHARACTER SUMMARIES

Ben Barnes as Johnathan Harker
Tough, Street smart, and a bit of a hard ass, JOHNATHAN HARKER is one of the best detectives London has to offer. Not really very sociable, he tends to hang out with his sister most of the time. Ever since there mother died and there father is MIA, John had to grow up fast and hasnt had any social interactions outside of his sister. His world comes crashing down when his sister, Melanie, was killed. It sent him in a downward spiral of obsessing over finding her killer, and drowning himself in bottles of alcohol. But after following a tip that leads to him meeting Excalibur, John's destiny soon begins...

Laura Vandervoort as Lydia Guthrie
Born into a family of Lycans, LYDIA GUTHRIE was taught two things: Kill or be Killed. Growing up in a family of Lycans, is a bit of a struggle. She is more fascinated with humans and sometimes lets her emotions get the best of her. Which her family has to remind her that she isnt exactly human. A Bitch, sexy, and can kick ass, Lydia is one of the first members of the team. She is mostly in charge when Frank isnt around and is very secretive about some of her motives. But she loves the team like family and would do anything for them....for now...

Michael Ealy as Jackson Bennett
Always in control, JACKSON BENNETT is the resident magic user of the team. After Lydia he is the second member to join the team. Jackson is pretty much the all around book nerd who is the team researcher and occasional back up. He has alot of street smarts for someone who doesnt really venture outside of his apartment, but it must have ties to his past. And its only a matter of time till the team learns about it...

Crystal Reed as Izabella Clark
Bubbly, outgoing, and the heart of the team, IZABELLA CLARK, is the youngest of the team. She has been in the business for a while now. Aside from Frank, she is the only other human on the team. Of course most would think she's jealous, but she knows how to handle herself. She's very good at using a crossbow, but she mostly decides to use her dual pistols when out in the field. When John joins the team, she starts developing an attraction that might prove dangerous for her in the long run....

Bruce Campbell as Frank Milligan
Ex-Special Forces and Military man, FRANK MILLIGAN, is the team leader. Joining Excalibur sometime in the late 80's, Frank has slowly rose to the top and is the head of the team. He is hard and dangerous, but he has a soft spot for his crew even though sometimes they crack about his age. Frank has been fighting this battle forever and has a habit to see only black and white and has no problem killing demons and humans alike if they get in the way of his goals...

James Marsters as Neiki
Seductive and shrouded in mystery, NEIKI has had it out for the Harker family for sometime. One of the first demons that was created by the devil, Neiki is dangerous and is down to make Excalibur's life a living hell. The reason for why he wants John is still a mystery....

Aimee Teegarden as Melanie Harker
Sweet,kind, and definitely not a pushover, MELANIE HARKER, is one of the greatest people. Although she can come off as naive, she has a habit of surprising people with her intellect. She looks out for her brother more than he looks out for her. She got accepted to MIT and was planning to leave her brother, and London behind but before she could, she was killed. Before her death she told her brother a secret, something that in the wrong hands could spell doom....

EPISODES

1.01:Beginning

After following a tip, Detective John Harker teams up with Excalibur to solve the case of the young women. But digging deeper into the mystery, the gang finds a bigger conspiracy at hand

1.02:Footsteps

[/div]After joining the team, Frank decides to take John under his wing to learn the tricks and trades to demon hunting. Meanwhile Lydia, returns home when her family receives death threats.

1.03:Hex

After Jackson's sister, Abby (Guest Star: Kat Graham), pays him a visit, his past starts to come back to bite him when a demon decides to come after his coven again. Meanwhile, John and Izzy take on a group of goblins that are infesting the sewers of Manhattan.

1.04:Gauntlet

When rumors of an underground fight club reach Excalibur, John goes undercover to solve the case. Also, Izzy, Jackson, and Frank stumble across Neiki who is trying to raise a demon of great power.

1.05:Trapped

With Neiki finally read to make his move, he kidnaps John and Lydia and traps them inside an asylum with demons lying in wait. With the gang struggling to get them back, Lydia and John go head to head against Neiki

1.06:Eclipse(MidSeason Finale)

After narrowly escaping the jaws of death, John and the team decide to take the fight to Neiki and take him out. But their plans go awry when Neiki uses his powers to make an eclipse. With time running out and there enemies closing in, One Excalibur member makes the ultimate sacrifice.

Holy crap dude, this is something that I didn't know I needed until I seen it. Seriously, you NEED to develop a pilot for this and get it posted so that I can read it and have a new show to read. I'm always a sucker for these types of shows, and all I can really go off so far is the synopsis you've provided and I'm already hooked. I think from what we know about Excalibur in this case, it would be interesting to see the extent they would go to in order to keep these things under wrap, like in Men in Black they had that mind-erasing thing. Is this a much darker organization in that they would kidnap, trap, imprison and/or kill people who threatened to expose these secrets to the world, or simply force them to join them now that they know too much? It does have a little BtVS edge to it in terms of the Initiative, so I would like to learn more about it and whether or not there is this edge to the organisation that makes this an even more unique series. That said, I'm looking forward to seeing more information on the characters, and definitely a pilot. Karl Hurd NEEDS his own show on theVPN. LIKE FOUR YEARS AGO. Hahaha. Epic pitch, man!

Haha. Thank you Jack. To answer your question they do have a darker edge to them. They are essentially kind of the Men In Black in a sense that they want to keep what they do under wraps and not broadcasted. So you'll get to see the lengths they go to keep things under wraps
