Sense8 (a play on the word sensate /?s?nse?t/, meaning aware) is an upcoming American science fiction drama web television series created, written and executive-produced by The Matrix trilogy creators Andy and Lana Wachowski and Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynsk. A first season consisting of 12 episodes has been produced and will become available for streaming on Netflix on June 5, 2015. Sense8 will tell the story of eight strangers (Will, Riley, Capheus, Sun, Lito, Kala, Wolfgang, and Nomi) from different cultures and parts of the world, who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, suddenly find themselves mentally and emotionally connected – an evolutionary leap of technological origin. While trying to figure why this happened and what it means for the future of mankind, a mysterious and powerful man named Jonas will try to bring the eight together, while another stranger called Mr. Whispers and his organization will attempt to hunt them down to capture or assassinate them. Each episode will focus on one character and their story.

This show was really great. Such a diverse cast of characters, and I can't help but love all of them. The concept is so intriguing, and all of the locations we go to are stunning. I definitely recommend you guys give this a go!

I binge-watched the whole season in two days last week, it was AMAZING. I'm usually not into sci-fi stuff, whether it's movies, books or TV, but the characters were so perfect and intriguing, so different yet quite relatable in many ways. Riley was, I think, the only one I found annoying at times because she was such a passive and frustrating character despite her tragic backstory. AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT SEX SCENE???
