What I've read recently : Audition (episodes 1 & 2) Hellbound (pilot) 101 Ways to Survive High School (pilot)
I'll try getting into The Super Teens, Screenwriters Paradise and Paradise Lost this weekend, even though I'm not a big fan of supernatural stuff usually!

I read the pilot during my lunch time, and I loved it as much as the first time, when it was still under development. Fiona is an incredibly funny and fresh character, she's the one I have the easiest time picturing thanks to your casting of Rebel Wilson. She somewhat reminds me of Fat Amy, I don't know if it's intentional or not but it works anyway. I don't have a particular interest to the MC yet, but I'm sure Hayley will grow on me episode after episode. The running gags are great, my kind of humor so it's spot on. All around, there are lots of clichés and stereotypes but it never bothered me. They all serve a comic purpose so that's fine. Overall, I'm excited for the next episode! (this wasn't a thorough review, I apologize for that haha)

I've stopped watching at mid season 4 I think, so I'll go with Bobby.
Veronica Mars or iZombie?

Original Ruby (Katie Cassidy all the way, despite her average acting skills) !! (you should try Teen Wolf haha, I find there's a Buffy vibe in this show, somehow)
Dean or Sam Winchester?

Anything frpm the previous series or the movie that is featured in this will be re-explained sincee most of it will be reworked to fit into my vision of the show so you dot need to watch previous versionsif you don't want to and I definitely wouldn't make watching all 1245 episodes of the original series a requirement before checking this out yes Angelique does have French roots and I would appreciate help if I need it as I had to use google translate to find the French word for grandmother Oh my god, 1245 episodes??? That's too much haha. Anyway that's good, then I'll definitely read the pilot once (or if) you decide to post it. Yeah, French online translators aren't that good. I'm always amazed by how actual American TV shows manage to put in some French words from time to time and get it so wrong. I don't exactly have an example right now, but it's funny every time. That's why I'm offering my help if I can, it doesn't hurt to be accurate when using another language (that's why you should definitely tell me if I mess up my syntax or grammar in English).

The whole premise sounds intriguing enough to someone like me who never watched both the TV show or the movie. Would that be a requirement if I were to dive into your virtual series? Is it necessary to have watched the movie for example to understand your VS or is it a complete reboot, re explaining everything from the start? Also, if you need help with some French, I'm there, since Angelique Bouchard sounds like she has some French roots

No, I see what you mean and I agree, Lydia WAS indeed involved with the supernatural storylines of the past season, but I feel like she isn't that included friendship-wise. The only person she really shares scenes with and seems close to is Stiles. I just wish she might closer to Malia or Kira (but that's just me, I'm always asking for more female bonding haha). But other than that, yes, I'm excited for this season because it seems to be more Lydia-centric that before, and that's good.
Haha OK, well I've been waiting for it a while now. I was a big fan of the movie franchise since I was a little kid, so I'm hoping it'll be good. If it's a bit along the lines of Harper's Island, then I'm fine with it, perfect for summer season.

Parrish is some kind of Phoenix, right? I hope we'll learn more about him. I can't wait for the show to return, and I'm crossing my fingers for more scenes between the girls, and perhaps include Lydia a bit more since I feel, except Stiles, she's been a bit cast aside since what happened to Allison. Off topic but it's still MTV, will anyone be watching Scream?

I binge-watched the whole season in two days last week, it was AMAZING. I'm usually not into sci-fi stuff, whether it's movies, books or TV, but the characters were so perfect and intriguing, so different yet quite relatable in many ways. Riley was, I think, the only one I found annoying at times because she was such a passive and frustrating character despite her tragic backstory. AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT SEX SCENE???

I'll say Peggy Carter since she's the only one I know (Not really into superhero stuff, now I'll go hide)
Mean Girls or Pitch Perfect?

The small difference between the examples on what you sent me and what I'm planning to do is that there's only one location. We never know who's on the other end of the line but we understand it through the replies of the main character on screen. But I'll manage, as long as it seems understandable, it'll be fine! It's probably not the place to ask for this, but whenever I'm done with the first draft of my pilot, is there any place I can post it to get some feedback? Or some place to ask for a beta reader?

Thanks a lot, guys! I'll try to find the way that best suits me but intercutting with the different locations seems good. Thanks again!

Hey guys, I'm currently working on my first pilot (ever) and I have a scene in my mind where one of my characters is having several successive phone calls but I would want to cut in between each phone conversation to end up with a fast-paced scene. I don't know if I'm making myself clear here, so here's an example. Let's say my character is receiving multiple phone calls telling her she didn't get a job after some job interviews. I would like it to read as if all the calls arrived successively, such as : CHARACTER (over phone) : No it's okay I get it, thanks for calling! (cut to character in another position, for example sitting on a sofa) CHARACTER (over phone) : No spot for a new intern? That's unfortunate for me. (cut to character in again another position, sitting on a kitchen counter) CHARACTER (over phone) : Well thanks for calling anyway. This was a pretty basic example, but I hope you got what I'm talking about. Either way, I was wondering how this kind of scene would be written, script style ? I'm kinda lost here.

I very rarely (OK, never) post on the VPN but I'm a sucker for high school drama, so I've got to say, I'm pretty excited about this show. July 2nd couldn't come any sooner!
