Emil takes a shining to Moira? That can't be good. I'm very happy to see both Moira and Gabe back because god knows how much they were missed and needed.

Unfortunately, no. I've done everything to set up the show, I don't need to go back to "before" the show. Everything works out, no matter how Smallville wraps up Chloe's character. Not really. I do know that she'll be out in the field in the episode that marks her last appearance on the season/show. Mia's story is much more than being out in the field, fighting, and her wrap up story is far bigger than that too. Chloe's always going to be there for Bruce. Unfortunately, Bruce can't see that Chloe has no romantic interest in him, and is often confused by her action's, and has sort of that, if she's doing all this for me she must feel the same way vibe. But Chloe's learned not to turn her back on her family, and Bruce is a part of her new family. She won't leave him behind. Very soon. I doubt it. Yes, Chloe is back to normal. Emil extracted the experiment from her system, reversing the damage. There's only a few episodes left before you get taken to the future, so at the moment, no, there's no more flashes of the future. No she won't... Clark and Lois will most likely never appear on this show. Lois has more of a chance showing up than Clark, but they're both at the back of the list of characters to bring onto the show. There is one particular character from Smallville I plan on bringing in as a regular, down the track if I'm lucky, but I can't say who, or how they'll be introduced. And plleeaasee stop asking about Clark coming onto the show. You ask me every single time haha! In this season? No... I would love to. But I really can't say, because I have no story planned, or any ideas floating about with them. Amanda Waller shows up in "Archer" in a video conference sort of scene with Emil. But as for Checkmate, stick with Trinity. Chris does an amazing job with that story, and its wonderful! Have to stay tuned. You'll learn where he has "recently" been, but as for that huge chunk of time in around seasons 4-8, not so much... I'll try my hardest, but at the moment, we'll learn where has has been, and what he has doing, for a few years now, not since Chloe was in high school though. I'm not sure Chloe will actually come across Perry with the helmet, yet. Still breaking those episodes, and writing them. That story is very much tight on Perry, and I'm not sure ... just have to wait and see on that one - I guess is the better answer. Chloe has only had one brief experience with the helmet, nothing big... Batman isn't even on the show yet. At the moment, I'd say Clark is Superman, working at the Daily Planet with Lois - who has him pretty firmly kept at the bullpen.

Some New Spoilers for Tonight's Episode!
- Chloe's fight against the corrupted takes a hiatus in tonight's episode, as she tries to save her friend, Bruce, from going to prison. The lengths she goes to are questionable, even by Emil, the most corrupted of them all. - There will be a reference to Lex Luthor that proves to be very intriguing. - Bruce still isn't aware of Oliver's counterpart persona of the "Green Arrow". There is a scene where Bruce asks Chloe, "What can Oliver do that I can't?" - Jean Loring will have a lot to do with the birth of Two-Face; and Two-Face will have a lot to do with who Jean Loring becomes in the future. - Kayla Ewell, and Elise Gatien do not appear in this week's episode.

Thanks guys! While I've been trying to fix this thing, I've had time to go over the episode. I've decided, as its ran over a bit of extra time, I think I'm going to have to remove the "Two-Face" aspect of it. Him being a villain, so to speak. Instead, this will act as the origin for Harvey's turn into Two-Face, and as Batman isn't on the show, you'll see his hatred for Bruce, as opposed to his persona. So, thanks for being so patient with me. Hopefully this will be uploaded very soon! Thanks Maria, and Karl!

Originally I wanted Two-Face to be created, and then target Perry for printing an article that pretty much revealed all of Harvey Dent's deep dark secrets. But it really was too much for the episode. And as this was more about the famous comic story "Bruce Wayne: Murderer!?" I decided that it needed to be removed. Also, another reason for removing that aspect of the episode is because I have a high praise for the character of Perry White, and I think it would be out of character for him to print such deep secrets on Harvey Dent -- at least my version of the character -- and would make Chloe very disappointed in him. So, yeah, still, I'm about to upload. Again, sorry for the delay, but my computer freaking out on me let me go over the episode, so hopefully its a better version of the original! Thanks again, guys!

However, they haven't said if Perry is the next chosen, but, quote: "the helmet needed his help." - Helena will discover that her father is alive. - There will be several moments between Chloe and Oliver throughtout the next couple of episodes that leads to something huge in the penultimate episode.

These spoilers are to die for... Finally read the new episode and I have to say that this is one of the best I've read so far. I loved everything about it. I gave it a good 9. I love the all trial because for the first time I could see myself in the courtroom and be part of the story. I really enjoyed Bruce in this one and I'm glad this episode was centered around him for a change. Emil...I have mixed feeling about him. I loved his scenes with Chloe, there's a great dynamic there. Part of me like the fact that he wanted to take full responsabilities for his past actions and wanted to be the better person but on the other hand now that he confessed the murder of Vesper, the real killer is still ou there and that's not a good thing is it? There wasn't much Chlollie but it didn't bother me in this episode because the little we got was so nice. Bruce and Oliver were both jealous. Bruce didn't wanted for Chloe to call Oliver for help and I laughed when she made him believe that they could work together alone and then called Oliver for help right after. You can see how much Oliver dislikes that Chloe has so much fait in Bruce and I'm glad he sot of called her on it. Love the fact that he told Chloe that she was the love of his life and that she told him the truth about her dying in the future. I could see him becoming even more protective of her now that he knows. Jean...all I have to say is WHAT A BITCH!! The way you portrayed Harvey was very good and finally TWO FACES IS COMING!! Like always I adore the Perry/Chloe interactions. I just love their father/daughter dynamic and I actually want to see more of it if that's even possible.

Finally read the new episode and I have to say that this is one of the best I've read so far. I loved everything about it. I gave it a good 9. Thank you, Maria! I'm so glad you liked that. I had to do a lot of research, and read transcripts from court cases and stuff to pull it off in the way I wanted, so I'm happy it came across well. The one thing I don't want to leave out is the fact that Chloe and Emil have a history together. They've worked side by side at Watchtower. And so, Chlow knows who Emil can be, but is seeing a whole different side to him. Emil is really turning things around, but as we all know, things aren't that easy. So you'll definately see if he can keep with it, or get lost along the way. About Vesper's killer, this was something I struggled on. One thing I didn't want to do was cheapen the plot by suddenly revealing who killed her. Honestly, I don't have an answer, it was something I wanted to keep away from the plot. Evidence points to Bruce, but we know that he wouldn't kill her. And as the whole episode really centered around Bruce being on trial for this, I didn't want to introduce a character to show who really killed her. So, yes, the murderer of Vesper is still out there. Something that will not be revealed, and remain unanswered. Hahaha. Absolutely, that was the fun little triangle I was talking about. The jealousy. Next episode, things get a bit serious between this triangle, as it comes to an end, but there'll definately be some Chlollie stuff coming up. I found it a bit challenging to put some great moments between Chloe/Oliver in these episodes, as, with the triangle, I had to establish it from all perspectives. So, come "Vendetta" the cute, couple moments between Chloe/Oliver really come through. Hahahahaha. Amen. LOL! I am soooooooooo hoping that we get a second season. If things go to plan, I'd like to bring Two-Face in as a baddie; especially with his hate for Bruce. It'd be a nice story, and at the moment, I've pitched about five episodes to the network, and waiting for them to give some more feedback. From what I've got so far, they're liking it, just wanted some more stuff for the pitch, so I've gone off and started working my a$$ off on character plots, and development. Hopefully, we'll get some word soon Thanks! There'll be a lot of stuff happening between them. A LOT, that really shifts the dynamic in a new, fun way. Thanks again, Maria, for reviewing!! I can't wait to hear back from you next week (which will air on monday this time *facepalm* haha) and yeah, thanks!

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW with the 'Watchtower' leading lovers Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack) and Oliver Queen (Justin Hartley) VPTODAY: This season, it seems that nothing can break through the connection shared between Chloe and Oliver. But, with this new triangle with Bruce forming, will their love for each other be challenged? JH: Definately. Oliver will be ... he'll be trying to understand why Chloe has so much faith in someone she barely knows, at least compared to Oliver. AM: Oliver's really jealous. JH: Well he did plant one on his girl. VPTODAY: We've had confirmation that something big will be coming up between Chloe and Oliver towards the end of the season. Can you give a little hint as to what we might expect. AM: Things really get interesting between Chloe and Oliver, especially when the parents show up. JH: Well, her parents. Mine are dead. AM: We can say that one of the two parties [chloe or oliver] will be ready to make the next step in the relationship, but as to what that next step is, or if it comes to pass, we can't say. VPTODAY: The upcoming finale is going to take all the characters into the future, and show us a glimpse of where this ongoing plot might take them. How will Chloe and Oliver's relationship be when we get taken there? JH: Ooh. [to allison] How do we answer that one? AM: Everything is very scattered in the future. Characters have changed, relationships have changed. There's a lot going on. JH: You'll see the relationship from Chloe's point of view. Oliver, is sort of ... he's ... you'll just have to wait and see. We can't say too much about the finale. VPTODAY: The eighth episode has just aired a few nights back, what can we expect for the rest of the season? JH: There's the Archer. Thats a really fun, interesting episode. Very twisted as well. As an actor, it was fun to get involved in. AM: There's always those kind of episodes that we look forward too. Uhm... we've got Elise Gatien's last episode of the show. She plays Mia. JH: That's a bit of a sad one. Sucks to say goodbye to Elise, she's an amazing actress. VPTODAY: Is there any chance of Mia returning in future episodes, or for another season? AM: I know the producers have expressed interest in bringing her back, if the story calls for it. Elise was very happy with the story she got this year, and she didn't want to overstay her welcome, so to speak. She felt her character got the elevation, and the send off, to let the fans know where the character would be, and what she'd be doing from this point on. JH: Mia sort of steps out of her sidekick role. VPTODAY: Will she put on her 'Speedy' persona? AM: [laughs]Oh come on, we can't tell you that... VPTODAY: So, you said earlier Chloe's parents will be back. How does this effect the lives of the characters, Chloe and Oliver especially? JH: They give them hope. AM: As we know, Moira and Gabe are divorced. They're separated. So, its really warming and amazing to Chloe when they show up and are back together, as a couple. They're not re-married, of course, but they have very much rekindled that flame, much like Chloe and Oliver did at the start of this season. JH: Then there's Emil... AM: Yeah. Emil is sort of ... he's such a tragic character. He's the Shakespeare of this show. A character you just slowly watch crash and burn, hoping that he'll find a way out, and see the light, but continues to fall into the darkness. VPTODAY: There's always been that question of whether Clark or Lois will show up on the show. Do you think that its a possibility? How much of a chance do you think the fans have of seeing those characters on 'Watchtower'? JH: I have no idea... AM: They've done a spin off with Lana Lang, which is very succesful, another with Chloe, which I hope is succesful, whose to say they won't tackle the Superman years with Clark Kent and Lois Lane in the future? JH: I think the producers have kept Chloe, and these characters, as far away from that world, so that they can keep it as "canon" as possible. As realistic, and easy to follow from Smallville. AM: Which is hard, with Smallville still on the air. And in its final season, anything can happen. VPTODAY: Okay, last question. The mythos are pretty important on a show like this. Similar to Smallville, the show introduces characters in its own, new way. Fans have always wondered if Chloe and Oliver will last, due to his relationship with Dinah in the comics. Will this be teased? Will this be shown? What can huge comic buffs who are fans of the Dinah/Oliver relationship expect, on 'Watchtower'? JH: I think we've done a good job of showing how much Oliver feels for Chloe. He's madly in love with her, and although the two have their arguments, and put everything to the side when it comes to saving the world, they're both madly in love. AM: At this point, I haven't seen any signs that lead to these two parting ways. Their relationship is constantly being tested, and challenged, and it only deepens their connection. JH: Oliver is still in his early, young days. In the comics he's a bit of a playboy, in Star City, and whether or not thats where the show will leave Oliver, I don't know. AM: I think, whether Oliver and Chloe are together or not, there'll always be fun little nods to the comics. In "Prey" there was a few between Oliver and Dinah, and he was still with Chloe. So, I think, hopefully, thats enough to satisfy the fans of that relationship.

Ok now I'm excited!!! I smell LOTS of very good Chlollie stuff coming. I have to say that I'm very intrigued in the Moira/Gabe episode and how their relationship will parallel with the Chlollie one.
So one of them is making a step forward soon? A proposal? Living together? I'm thinking about Oliver being the one to do it.
Still waiting for him to find out about Bruce kissing Chloe first....

Extract from VSGuide:
Bruce Wayne isn't subtle with his feelings for Chloe Sullivan. He's definately got his eyes on her, and getting her away from best friend Oliver Queen. Will he finally get that one on one conversation with Chloe where he can just lay everything down and get some sort of a reaction?
"He definately lays his feelings on the line in the episode airing tonight," Bale revealed, "but its more of a conversation shared between him and Oliver. He wants Oliver to understand this isn't personal, that he doesn't want to take anything away from Oliver. But he also doesn't want to deny what he feels, or give up on that. Which unfortunately, he has to do in the end."
Its been confirmed that Bruce has jetted back off to Japan. When will we see him return?
"I actually don't know," the actor laughed, "I know I'm back for the finale, but I think its just future Bruce Wayne. Bruce definately gets the wrap up for his arc this season, and definately sent on his way to becoming who we know he'll become. So I don't know if I'll be back in the three episodes leading up to the finale."
Have the producers approached you for a second season yet?
"They have, actually. I think we've all been approached, and all been asked to come back, in some capacity. At the moment, Allison and Justin have signed on for the full season, the rest of us are just signed on to be used for how ever long," the actor confirmed, "they've told me where they want to take the character if we're lucky enough for a second year of the show, but the ball's in the network's court right now."
Do you think Bruce and Chloe would make a good couple? I know there are a few fans who enjoy the pairing.
"That's a tough question," he pondered, "I think, Chloe would be perfect for Bruce. I think from his perspective, a girl like her is someone that he is looking for in his life. But Chloe could do so much better than Bruce," Bale laughed. The actor concluded in saying that he would love to work more with Allison on that connection between Chloe and Bruce, but isn't sure about a relationship. "Anything's possible, so I wouldn't be surprised." |
