Here's the VDVD I'll be working on in the next few weeks. The art was made by the amazingly talented Krysla (Krystal), who I hope you send your love to for sticking with the show and helping add some more realistic touches to it with the images, promo posters, etc that she's made! INSIDE - All 12 action packed episodes, including fan favourites "prey" and "trial".
- An exclusive interview from Allison Mack, Kayla Ewell and Alaina Huffman on the creation of the Birds of Prey!
- That's a wrap! (interview with Jack Malone on the complete first season of Watchtower).
- Cast commentary on 4 key episodes:
- "Legend" Allison Mack - "Trial" Christian Bale - "Vendetta" Kayla Ewell - "Apocalypse" Allison Mack & Alessandro Juliani
*Please note all interviews and apparent "commentaries" are not real or actually quoted from any of the actors/actresses pinned to the show to portray the characters. All will be written documents on the VDVD.

Alaina Huffman returns in the season finale Apocalypse for a small cameo appearance. Actress reveals "Chloe will be searching for Oliver, and is using all her resources to make sure he gets found." She won't have as much a presence as she did in Prey, as the actress is currently filming her *most likely* final appearance on Smallville, and final few episodes of SGU.

Extract from VSGuide: Exclusive: The 'Apocalypse' Begins
The Season Finale has arrived! Next Monday, Chloe and co will take the war to Emil and his army of metahumans in a final showdown that will end the season with a bang! Prowling the set during filming, we managed to snag an interview from Allison Mack and Alessandro Juliani.
The war between Chloe and Emil has been going on since the pilot. Can we expect no less in the finale?
"The war becomes an all out apocalypse, alas the title of the episode," Juliani revealed, "and you'll definately see both forces, good and evil, face the implications of that." The actor told VSGuide that Emil see's Chloe as a liability to his goals, and sets his gameplan to kill. "He's no longer just wanting Chloe to stay away, he wants her dead."
The Legion are said to return in the episode. How big a part do they play, and what do they bring to the table, in terms of having knowledge of the future?
"It was fun working with them again," Mack said, excited, "they're new characters, especially new to Watchtower, and its been fun exploring them for the little time we did. I can say that they're not a huge part of the episode, as this is the finale, and it does focus on the main core characters, but they're pivotal to the story being told."
Fans have been desperately wanting to know the 411 on the Chloe and Oliver story. He's ready to pop the question, but, unfortunately, never got the chance to. What's going on there?
"There's more development needed for their relationship. I think, Chloe would say yes in a heartbeat, but as an actress, I'm more excited in the next chapter of their relationship," Mack retorted, "there is a huge story between them next season, that I think fans will definately enjoy - a lot of drama bubbling up - and as for the proposal, it won't be ignored. But there's more to happen before it gets brought up again."
Speaking of next season, where does Emil come into it? And how many episodes will we be seeing him?
"Things are still being finalized, and contracts are still being signed," the actor revealed, "From what I know, Emil is a recurring character next season that shows up every now and then. I know I'm in the premiere, but, I can't say anything more than that. I'll be in several more episodes." Actress Allison Mack tuned in and said that Emil will still have a heavy presence on these characters. "Emil is working towards a better life, and because of his actions, he'll be doing this on his own. Chloe doesn't want anything to do with him."
Tracking back to the finale. We've heard that Chloe will be sent to the future. How does she get there, and what can we expect?
"Chloe puts on the legion ring to save herself from Emil," Mack revealed, "he pretty much barges in and tries to kill her, and she uses this as her last resort." Alessandro Juliani pitched in, saying that from there you'll be swept up in the middle of the apocalypse, and see where all these characters will be, should Emil's world come to fruition. "Its very much an alternate future, but based on very real things that could happen, if Chloe and co. doesn't do something about it in the present."
Christian Bale has been revealed to be in this episode. But in our last interview with him, he told us that Bruce wouldn't return from Japan until next season. Care to clear the cobwebs?
"All the cast members appear in this episode, some more than others. In the future, you'll see where Bruce is, and what he is doing, but in the present, yeah, he's still in Japan," Mack made clear. "The producers thought it best to end Bruce's story [this season] with him leaving to go find himself. I think it was a good ending to the character and his story that was being told in this first season - so suddenly bringing him back wouldn't work too well. You'll see him next year."
With Elise Gatien's episode being lost, can we expect her to be a part of the finale. I would love to see her back, at least for one more time.
"We were very upset that her final episode never got to air," Juliani told VSGuide, "it was one of the biggest episodes of the season, with a lot of emotion, lot of action, and a heck of a lot of drama to top all of that." The actor went on to say Elise Gatien won't be in the finale, but its not the last we've seen of her. "The producers just finalized a deal with Elise to come back."
Last question. Allison, you've been playing Chloe Sullivan for almost ten years now! Going from a ten season show, to Watchtower, which has only just started, where do you see this character at the end, and how long do you think this show could last?
"The fun thing about Chloe Sullivan is she's always growing. I've never played such a fascinating character before. We've seen her ups and downs, and seen how much she's changed because of the terrible things that has happened in her life, and its all shaped who her character is now," the actress reflected, "I hope, at the very end, she gets a happy ending. That she is satisfied with who she is, and where she is." The actress concluded in saying she hopes the show lasts a good, solid five seasons. |

VSGuide was lucky to snag one last interview before the season finale of Watchtower airs this coming monday. Justin Hartley, who plays the superhero Green Arrow, and Chloe Sullivan's lover Oliver Queen - who yes, are the same people - was nice enough to answer some questions. "There's a lot of action in the finale. A lot," Hartley revealed, shocked by the amount of stuntwork, "In the first act alone, there's a showdown between the Legion and Emil, then a trip to the future that starts off with things exploding. [laughs] There's a lot of action!" Speaking of action, the last finale [mid season finale] we had of Watchtower had a pretty graphic sex scene between Oliver and Chloe. "Stick around for season two, is all I'll say. [laughs] Too many horny fans..." the actor joked, "In all seriousness, there are some good Chloe and Oliver moments that really does their relationship justice. A lot of the good moments happen when they're not with each other. Like with Chloe wanting to find Oliver, so much is revealed about how she feels about him, and there's just a lot of emotion that Allison pulls off really well." What can we expect for Oliver next season? "Hmm. I get a lot to work with next season. There's Catwoman coming on board, his relationship with Chloe, Mia coming back! A lot is going on. Can't wait."
