I smell tears...should I prepare some tissues? Is Bruce in next week episode? Bruce doesn't appear in this episode, however, the last two episodes of this half make up for his lack of appearance. I wish I could tell you guys how many episodes each character will be in, but I usually don't know until I've finished the episode in full, because the original plan always changes in some areas as the episode is being written. Maybe I'll have things easier when the show returns. But yeah, Bruce skips "Deadshot". Haha, tissues...I don't know. This episode is hopefully gonna pull some emotional chains. There's the whole Chloe/Oliver story, I'm hoping a few scenes really scare the hell out of you guys with whats going on -- Chloe's up against a hitman, so its definately a huge challenge -- but yeah, if you're really attached to these characters and feel for them when their in pain I'd grab several boxes of tissues haha!

Here's the new official episode description for "Prey" THE BIRDS OF PREY BEGIN - The Black Canary (special guest star Alaina Huffman) returns, intent on stopping a government facility, below the city of Gotham, from wiping out the Justice League. Crossing paths on her mission, Chloe (Allison Mack) decides to help her out. But, having been kidnapped by their leader, the Black Canary teams up with Helena (Kayla Ewell), as they rescue their own: Watchtower. Meanwhile, Bruce (Christian Bale) finally decides to what is right, and Oliver (Justin Hartley) gets a suspicious phone call that leads him to Emil’s (Alessandro Juliani) new experiment! Michael McKean also stars.Because I wanted this first half to really focus on Chloe, I wanted to shift the attention from Helena -- even though she hasn't had much spotlight. But the second half really delves into the other characters (Helena, Mia, Perry, Bruce). So, sorry to change the episode around if you were expecting a huge Helena episode. Originally it was going to be an old gang that Helena grew up with, where she soon disbanded from and they came back for her to join them now that she's twenty -- but for many reasons, one being I didn't think it was a big enough story to form the Birds of Prey (or at least have all three team up to fight a gang), I changed the episode around. It also sounded a bit like "Disciple" where the Dark Archer shows up in Oliver's life to reclaim his debt. So I didn't want a repeat of a Smallville episode. Although you're probably tiring of organizations, I did some research on the Birds of Prey and found a suitable villain, and facility for him to run -- and the episode focuses more on Chloe than the other characters; with some Black Canary, Helena and Bruce Wayne focus in the main spotlight. Hope I didn't spoil too much, but I figured if I changed the episode I should let you all know Enjoy this monday guys! And don't forgot to check out "Trinity" as well. You gotta be prepared for the season finale where the shows tie in for the climactic conclusion

The VPN has posted their official DESCRIPTION for the mid season finale of Watchtower. Enjoy!
WATCHTOWER IS OFFICIALLY OFFLINE. MID SEASON FINALE - After their confrontation, Oliver (Justin Hartley) returns to inform Chloe (Allison Mack) that the war has started; and that Emil’s (Alessandro Juliani) new experiment will turn the entire city of Gotham into his lab rats. Racing against the clock, they round up the troops to stop him! Bruce (Christian Bale) says his farewell to Chloe, and decides to prove himself worthy of a superhero. Perry (Michael McKean) gets offered a very important job offer that could relocate him too. Meanwhile, in light of the shocking events, Helena (Kayla Ewell) abandons the team.

VSGuide has revealed that the producers of Watchtower have purchased a new set: "The new set is an iconic place, tied with one particular character in the comics. Finally, we'll be seeing it appear throughout the second half of the season." Apparently, we'll find out what set that is in the mid-season finale, but won't find anyone in it as it is yet to be built for when the series returns after its mid-season hiatus.

Because of the one-day delay, I've promised a major spoiler. Seeing as I personally hate delays, no matter how much is going on, I'm gonna give you two.
Here's the first, regarding the mid-season finale...
In "Offline", you'll finally see Chloe & Oliver consumate their relationship. Things get steamy during the episode, when Chloe suggests the team get out of the city, as she knows she can stop Emil without them getting involved -- which leads to an intimate situation between the two, as it could be the last time they'll ever see each other.
And the second...
After the hiatus break, I'm hoping to bring John Jones back for the very first episode back. He will be brought to Gotham because of the events that "Offline" end in.
Okay, and one more! (I said I felt bad didn't I?)...
This promo has a lot of relevance to a certain part of the story in the mid-season finale. I don't want to point it out completely, but you'll all find out tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I'm not here to give you fans a return date as the producers are pitching the second half of the season to the network, and approving episode titles. But, news of the show's return is bound to come sooner rather than later. Phil Morris, known for his role as Martian Manhunter on Smallville, reprises his role in the returning episode. "He shows up in Gotham with evidence that Chloe is still alive," says series creator Jack Malone, "and he really restores hope for Oliver, who is beginning to lose hope." Also, Doug Jones, who tends to play strange, almost creepy roles, has booked a role for the returning episode, but the producers are still waiting to get the character approved by the network -- which means its a DC Comic Character. As for his part in the episode, we have reason to believe it could be the person responsible for crashing into Perry's car, and kidnapping his dying remains.
