Well, the first thing about writing a script is, choosing a good program. I myself use Final Draft 7. In my opinion it's the more profession software for screenwriting. Other good programs for beginners are Celtx, which I have used before, and find it to be pretty professional also. But overall, I believe Final Draft is the best. You can download Celtx online for free. Final Draft isn't free..but you can probably find it online somewhere for free. Note: If you need any technical script writing help or tips, just ask more specific questions or if you're looking for help on brainstorming ideas, to jump strart your own virtual series, again, ask here, specifically so we can help you more

I was a newbie writer before and it wasn't that long. I suggest googling Script writing tips and tricks which helped me at the beginning to get all the kinks right but once you learn the basics you will be able to create your own writing style. If you need any lessons, I'm sure I can help anyone newbies out. I can also help with brainstorming for a series. I'm actually helping a couple of writers by creating a series for them to showrun.

Read. Just read virtual series, study how they wrote their episodes. Its how I learnt, and am still learning. Have to agree 100%. When I really started to get into writing, I asked myself 'books or scripts' and started reading fanfics and scripts. I really liked the script style, and really got intrigued. I learnt technique's along the way. My first season of Faith the Vampire Slayer is not the most well structured, and written scripts that I've made because I was just starting out, but now I think, even with much more to learn, I can succesfully write a good script with techniques and styles that I picked up from reading So don't panic too much on everything at once. I suggest reading scripts on this forum when they start airing in May/June (Watchtower and Trinity). Go over to MZP, where the majority of scripts there are really well done, and go from there
