Thanks Alex for the review, It's greatly appreciated. Hmm.. I think in the long run I don't think I could of gone forward with the series until Michael Trevino was cast as Pete, we greatly struggled with him because it's easy to picture the Hero, but the bad guys really need to bring the character to life. We had so many options from Jensen Aclkles to Mark Salling, neither felt right and than when Michael Trevino was mentioned it seemed like everything else fell into place, and it's easy for people to see him as a dick, but we also knew about his redemption storyline and knew he would slowly become more of a hero as the season went on.
When it comes to Maya, in a way your right and your request will be answered, with so many stories and characters going on somebody was going to not get as explored and in this case the time never really worked for Maya to get fully explored and feels very much like just a love interest to Shane and later a foil for Lucy. She will be further explored during season two, we have great plans for Maya, and I feel like i'm not jumping the shark in saying Season two will be Maya's biggest year.
When it comes to her personality there was one big word I think you left out, which was "selfish" all she really cares about is herself, even in the scene with Pete, where the two are in the Science Lab, she doesn't regret what she's done because she feels bad, she's only worried about what Shane will do if he finds out and she thinks her time with him is over.
When it comes to Eve and Jake, yes there love came from me and Chris feeling that after spending a season beating Eve down and what was coming Shane's way. It really felt like she needed a win somewhere.
Well as for the grammar mistakes, I like to think Season two I've gotten better at catching those,
and hope to get better with practice
