It feels good to be writing again. It's been too long. This past year has been a pretty rough one. I couldn't focus to save my life. However, just writing one scene feels like a victory to me. It's also given me that small spark of passion for the project I was worried I would never get back. I've also been keeping random ideas for films that have popped up in my head over the last year, stuff that makes me excited. I'm ready to finish this season of Paradise Lost and do so other new projects. Exciting stuff for me. How is everyone else doing? Hope all is going well. Just came to talk about how I am doing writing wise and found this gem. Honestly, before this day I was ready to give up on Paradise Lost. Another failed VS by me. But, I am happy to say that I am currently writing the first season finale and I am confident in saying that it's probably the best dialogue I have ever written. It excites me. I feel confident in how this chapter will end, and excited for how the next chapter will begin. I have started mapping a bit of season two and building that sequence. I call it a sequence because honestly you could read both season one and season two and it will feel like one season. My problem is I am not a quick writer so it's easier to split them up into smaller seasons, yet still feel like I have told a complete story. I am inspired. And can't wait to finish this season. I have so many film ideas I would like to explore. You guys inspire me. Seeing the rise of activity on this site, inspires me. I want to know how everyone else is doing? How is your writing going? What inspires you? Sorry if I sound like a crazy person, I'm just in a much better head space then I was back when I wrote that original post.

It's good to see you're feeling the inspiration to write again. That's always good thing and I wish you luck in your future writing endeavors. I personally haven't written a single script or even a page since I took my break some years ago. So to say I'm rusty would be an overstatement. I'm currently attempting to jump back into it as I've started outlining the 2nd season of Screenwriters Paradise so we'll see how that goes. Hoping to get some scripts and maybe ready to air again before the year is over but it's too soon to tell. I share your excitement though. It's been a long while since I even felt a tiny bit of inspiration and right now it's like its surging through me. Glad I'm not the only one, as it seems there's been quite a bit of activity around here these last few months. Hoping we can keep that momentum going!

So I have completely mapped out the finale episode of the first season of Paradise Lost on my phone. Usually I type it out in a Word document but, for some reason I was inspired at 3am when I couldn't sleep, and used the closest device. Of course it's divided under 3 different notepad files, because my phone would only allow so many characters under one notepad. But, this got me thinking, am I the only one who has ever used an unusual method to map out an episode of their series? What's your weirdest medium used?

First off congratulations for mapping out the finale episode!! *CLAPS* For me, the only other medium I've used besides a computer has been pen and paper back when I would outline episodes of Gifted and Trinity back in the day. I'd be able school working on outlines instead of taking notes sometimes. HAHA! Good times. I feel like I was at my most productive back them so I might have to try to bring the notebook out again.

I'm so excited we are this much closer to reading the season 1 finale! I use my notes on my phone a lot, I would say most of my planning is mapped out on word but before it reaches there it's almost all mapped out on my phone notes. Only due to the fact my inspo hits me as I'm about to sleep, during the night or even when I'm out and about. But it's a handy tool to have.

I haven't been doing much script writing lately, but I did enter a writing competition over the weekend which was really fun! I've never participated in a writing completion before but a friend of mine convinced me and I was really glad I did because it was a great creative exercise

Hey everyone, quick update. Unfortunately my laptop died I was on 207:(, the last episode I backed up was 203 - But the death of a laptop is a catalyst for change, so while I have to go back to 204, maybe I can do things differently and better!

Aw, man, sorry to hear that bud. Glad you were able to find a silver-lining though. I am currently wrapping up the finale of PL Season One, then it's onto the dreaded editing. Lol. Been working on the main story for Season Two. Looking forward to sitting down and really fleshing it out over Christmas. I'm getting excited and nervous about this finale. An actual season I have finished... say what? Lol. What's everyone else working on?

I'm so traumatised by this happening to me in the past that whenever I hear it happening for someone else, I swear I can feel that same heartbreak and frustration all over again. Hope you landed a new laptop and have eased back into the swing of things!

Thanks Jack! You'd think we'd all save more often... lol. I did get a new laptop But I definitely was disheartened at first but I've taken a different approach to season 2 that I think I'm happier with! so like @darrin said silver linings and all that.
