Okay, I'm really starting to like this. Like, really, really, really like this. Although there are a few problems that I will list down to be more clear and precise on them:
1) Milo Ventimiglia is already on another show "X-Men: Legends" so you will definately have to find a new actor. 2) Yes, Bludhaven is neighboured to Gotham City, but please don't mention it with this series unless we plan on crossing over the shows, which I highly doubt. 3) I think someone is using Chace Crawford so you may have to change him; and I don't think he's that much of a serious actor to be casting such an angry character like Dick Grayson. So please change him too. 4) I think you should add more characters; if not, do full bio's on these other characters as I'm not really going "WOW they sound interesting" about them right now. They seem sort of 2D Dimensional without the bio's so please do that. Seeing as everything has their little hole in the wall like Chloe has Watchtower, Clark has the Daily Planet, you should probably have a strong supporting cast from the Police Department possibly, and develop a supporting cast of criminals that Julian McMahon's character controls. XD
BTW I hope you're not trying to make Julian McMahon's character the cause of Dick Grayson's death, as I believe the man who killed his parents was Danny Zucco.

Just had to add as well. I think to make this edgier, please skip on Dick becoming Robin; and possibly elevate him more towards becoming Nightwing. I think that would be more appealing, rather than a series with Robin in it, who I know, most of us Network Executives don't like. Also, I've done my research on the palce, and I think the only two heroes you should have on the show should be Nightwing and Tarantula - but seeing as I don't know about that second one, he'd be a great example of a character you should slowly build up an origin for as the series progresses. Just because the mythos must be appreaciated, doesn't mean you can't run with it, and make it your own. So please add him as a main character. And ... another thing. I've read the city is economically struggling. So I expect it to be rather run down, disgusting -- or your series will show us the economy failing in the city - turning it horrible.

Thanks for the comments Jack, i totally agree. I do feel as if it's lacking and doesn't seem to have the same awesome feels as the other characters before the revamp but i haven't done the characters or episodes yet. Hmm well Elias's father is in Arkham Asylum and the mid season finales would be about his escape to Bludhaven? Would the mentioning the city refer to that as well?
And I'm fine with us doing a cross over now and then if you want too. I agree on the Chace, i just thought his look from the Covenant suited him though i think I'll go back to Shia. Ah damn sorry didn't noticed that will change Milo right away. Yeah there will be quite a few supporting casts that Karl and I were going over last night. Hopefully once we get it all down it'll be better and more filling. Nopers Roland didn't commit the murder himself.
I was totally thinking the same about Dick, since Robin seem kinda childish and Dick isn't exactly like his comic self but he's similiar in ways. Yeah the mythos would be there but it would be a retelling of it's history and the characters that surrounding it kinda like Smallville in it's early years. Thankies Karl.

Okay, its been a while since I gave a thorough read on the VS' right now since my life is a little hectic but lets continue with this shall we? I really like the element of the series you have going on. It's something used but made into anew in my eyes. I like the cast, its not too unreasonable or out there like some are. I like that you used Julian McMahon because he is such an amazing actor who is extremely versatile and giving him that type of role and personality is just his pitch so you smashed through the glass with casting, same could be said with Jessica Stroup and Chris Evans, great characters. I'm a bit iffy with Shia Labeouf. Although, it is your decision whether or not to keep him but I have a few suggestions. Devon Bostick seems like the perfect actor who would fit the role. For me the series poses some darkening plotlines but its how you present it that really determines if it gets picked up. I would love to see an episode guide to see exactly where you are going with this because some great pitches are always destroyed by the season summary. I shall comment once again when its up sweetness <3
