Playboy Town - The World Without Rules

Summary

Phil Giovanni is a 30 year old guy with zero money and with no family. He's a regular gangster(well not a gangster but pretty close to it) until one day his father's lawyer calls him and informs that he inherited 500 million $. He quickly flies to Miami to collect the money and stays there for a while but soon he is dragged into the criminal underworld.He befriends a guy named Jason Maximoff who's boss and also father, Luis Maximoff is the owner of a club called Ladies in Red.The club is doing 'dirty' business like selling drugs and intimidating people and after a while Phil is forced to work for them but of course they pay him pretty good.
Phil buys a loft and meets a girl called Kate who moves in with him after he saves his life from Luis who tried to kill her for not paying her debts.Soon Phil finds himself in a big dllema.He falls in love with Kate but also needs to be loyal to the Maximoff's.Meanwhile turns out, Jason may be not a man of his word.

Kyle Howard as Phil Giovanni ,main protagonist.Not a villain but neither a hero.His past is not know only that he was a nobody before his time in Miami.Becomes best friends with Jason.


Jim Strugess as Jason Maximoff ,Phil's best friend works at the Ladies in Red with his father Luis Maximoff, (if it isn't necessary I won't write more about him,I got pretty big plans for him and don't want to spoil it down)



William Fichtner as Luis Maximoff, Owner of the Ladies of Red, Crime Lord in Miami, Jason's father. Also Phil's boss.He buys sport cars for our protagonist to 'buy' him and keeps a collection of antics in his house.


Aaron Yoo as Nicholas West , another of Phil's friends,not much known about him only that he becomes in contact with Phil after a few 'parties' with Ladies in Red.Owns a club called Miami Pride. Kate's ex-boyfriend also.


Alexandra Daddario as Kate ,Nicholas' ex-girlfriends, somehow get's in debt for Luis, Phil helps her out secretly and moves in with him.


Recurring Characters:

Olivia Wilde as Alexis an attendant in Ladies in Red, always flirting with Phil but for an unknown reason she keeps her relationship with Jason in secret.



Adam Brody as Nikolai West ,Nicholas' brother,troubled teenager and want's to take out Phil to gain reputation and respect.Suspected to be gay by Phil but he denies it.


Eddie Giovanni , not shown just mentioned several times.Phil's father pretty rich and close friends with the President according to Phil during a conversation with Kate.

Benitto Gonzales ,the unseen lawyer, according to Phil he may be in dirty business too and suspects him of murdering his father, Eddie so Phil could take the money and later use him for his own personal gains as his pawn although Jason thinks this is a ridiculous theory.

I actually love this pitch. It's really fresh and new. It has some potential to be great. There's always room for improvement. The cast look great and their bio's are interesting. I want to see an episode guide.

Wow, really nice. Finally a series on the VPN that'll be more mature, and less PG-13 for teenagers work. I think the VPN has too many teen shows. This would definitely do good and I highly reccomend it's picked up. Good luck.

I rather enjoyed this pitch; good luck with it. Actually, Nicole, the VPN has one teen show. We have a Drama about life, another about college, and a Mature Drama series called Watchdogs.

1.01 The Sunshine State
It's 2010.Phil Giovanni is rushing down the highway in a sport car which he stole from someone. The police catch him and take him into custody for 24 hours.When released his goes home and get's a phone that his father died and inherited a pretty serious amount of money.Flies to Miami, to the Sunshine State to collect the money, but nothing is in as in a fairy tale.

1.02 Men in Red
No trouble,new life and everything ,any suspicious thing could be bad for the image right?Thinks Phil who now decided to stay in Miami for a while and live a life of a typical american playboy,until one day he stops by the Ladies in Red and has a brief affair with the attendant girl, Alexis.Thanks to that he get's to meet Jason, the owners son and befriends him. What our hero doesn't know is that Alexis is secretly dating Jason.Jason sure has no idea what she's doing behind his back.

1.03 Mistress Red
Alexis is going to Europe for a tour but has no money, so she borrows from a Loan Shark and get's in debt.Jason and Phil helps her out and after the successful rescue misson, Jason invites Phil to work for him at the Ladies in Red.Phil accepts it but has no idea what's the real deal is there.

1.04 What are Friends For...
Introducing Luis Maximoff.Luis is the owner of the Ladies in Red.Jason is his son and now he has a new employeer, Phil Giovanni.He quickly tells him the details about the black business and invites him over their place Phil for dinner and than they can talk about the details.Dinner get's pretty intense...

1.05 The Brave and the Brain
First job!Phil is sent to collect money from someone who is in debt to Luis.Soon turns out that that someone is a girl called Kate and Phil helps her out secretly and pays her debt.Meanwhile Nikolai West shows up and after a car chase, Nikolai ends up in the hospital.To run out the cops and the local authorities, Phil buys a loft and invites Kate to stay with him until she will find somewhere to live.
Meanwhile Jason is cutting a deal with another club owner, Nicholas West behind his father's back.

1.06 Miami Pride
A week later, Phil is suspected of stealing money from Luis and making business behind his back so if he won't come up with a name in the upcoming 24 hour, he's 'fired'.Jason helps his buddy out and gives the adress of another club with big players, the Miami Pride.Upon his arrive, he finds Kate and the owner Nicholas West having a fight.Kate rushes out from the club, while Phil tells him, he needs someone to help him out.Nicholas agrees but his brother, Nikolai who was released from the hospital, remembers our guy.Double trouble for Phil Giovanni.

1.07 Crimson and Stars
Phil is in the basement of the Miami Pride club where he is beaten up. Nikolai had it's payback and now Nicholas wants to know what he has to do with Kate and why he needs help.Phil explains the situation,sure half truth only.Nicholas asks to choose a side:The Crimsons aka Ladies in Red or Stars aka the Miami Pride.He chooses them and upon his return to Luis, he explains that it was not him who stole the money,but a hacker from another country who was with his alias.After creating a false ID, Phil was signed to clean up the mess and with this he easily tricked Luis.He then returned to Nicholas and the two became partners.
Meanwhile Nikolai is planning to take out Phil.

1.08 The Insect
Phil begins to feel uncomfortable for some reason every time he enters the Ladies in Red club and needs a little time off. Jason is spending some quality time with the newly returned Alexis in a hotel room and Luis is trying to track down the man who used Phil's alias to steal from them. Lies won't remain hidden.

1.09 My Pride and Your Shame!
Jason begins to map up his future and comes to a horrific conclusion.Alexis meanwhile meets up with Kate at Phil's apartment, while Phil is playing poker and making a lot of money at Miami Pride.Nikolai decides it's time for the endgame between him and Phil

1.10 Among Dead Men
Phil is staring to have a pretty weird dream.His father is hunting him although only his shadow can be seen.Meanwhile We find out that Phil has a younger brother who is in Europe and not keeping contact with him.Manifesting special abilities, Phil decides to save the world.Turns out that Nikolai poisoned Phil's drink with a pretty strong hallucinogen and plans to execute him within minutes...

1.11 Funeral
Showdown!Nikolai and Phil are facing off.Don't you dare to miss this!

1.12 Guns are a Men's best Friend!
Another death is coming!Jason is importing pretty sweet guns from Mexico to Miami and planning to take over his father's business.Luis of course thinks that Phil is the traitor and asks Jason to finish him. Jason of course won't listen and tells Phil to have the Miami Pride out from the picture in no time. Setting his plan in motion, Jason asks Alexis to marry him but the answer could shock him.

1.13 Party's Over
The titles won't lie.Major death is on the way.Phil now comes face to face with his best friend, Jason who was proven that isn't a man of his word.Meanwhile Nicholas and Kate end up together and he founds out a shocking secret from her which forces him to reconsider his relationship with Phil.The climatic season finale will change everyone's life including Phil's!

UPDATE:

I was reading an interview with Tim Kring, the creator of 'Heroes' and gave me an idea.Tim Kring said that he intended to introduce a new protagonist every season and believes that that would keep the show fresh.
If my show is approved and picked up for another season, than another protagonist will be introduced.

That's not exactly what he said, he said that he wanted to change the cast completly each season but the original characters he created became such a hit that he stuck with those ones and created the HEROES:Online webisodes to rotate new characters with.

Just thought I would say that I loved the pitch. There is certainly a charm about the characters, all of them see to be a lot more 3D then you sometimes get. There is potential for some real drama but I noticed there is also the chance to lighten the mood in some cases, which would certainly pull a punch when the nitty gritty drama comes back in.

The pilot and the second episode is done but for a while a have to put aside this pitch to concentrate on the Teen Avengers project of course this doesn't means that I dumped the project just taking a break from it, don't worry guys I'll be back to it in no time
