THE PITCH
Jack Lord became one of the most famous faces in Spiritus City recently. He was going to the one to end the infamous Danes Crime family and bring the city out of the abyss of crime it was in. Unfortunately, he is murdered in cold blood the night before the court case. His fiancé, Lily Faith, seeks justice but in a city of Spiritus City, justice is hard to come by. The police won’t help her so she takes things into her own hands...
She tracks down Jack’s killer and, overcome with emotions, she killed him. However, she found out that the killer was simply working for someone else, a shadowy figure who's identity is unknown but is named "The Woman in the Red Dress" by most people.
Wanting to help the citizens of Spiritus City, Lily becomes a masked vigilante known as “The White Light” and protects the city.
But she’s not alone. Sparking something inside several other people around Spiritus City, several new Vigilante’s surface but can they really protect this city from itself? Or will they destroy each other first...
The show will generally have quite a dark theme with a little bit of humour thrown in. It will be an action/drama which is based more about how the Heroes have different morals and how these morals clash. Each season will have a main villain (as well as one big villain who will appear in the first season and their identity will not be revealed to the second or third season) and there will be a main arch to each series.
THE CAST
Bare in mind all the cast members are purely hypothetical, I might not end up using a lot of them for the actual thing.
Lily “The White Light” Faith (Amy Acker)
Once, Lily Faith was simply another woman in Spiritus City. Granted, she was engaged to Jack Lord, one of the most powerful lawyers in the city, but she still lived a rather normal life. That all changed the night Jack was murdered in front of her. He was murdered by one of the most influential family in Spiritus City and when the police wouldn’t help her, she took matters into her own hands. She became “The White Light”, a masked vigilante, aiming to help the people of Spiritus when the police wouldn’t and protect them from the gangs, the thieves and the murderers.
Smart and clever, Lily has a strong sense of morals but her emotions often get in the way of her work.
Jayne “Prowler” Hammond (Kyle Gallner)
Everything about Jayne Hammond’s life was ordinary. Ordinary family. Ordinary school. Ordinary Friends. Nothing was unusual at all. That’s until he was walking back from gymnastics and decided to take a shortcut and was jumped by three thugs. Luckily for him, he was saved by The White Light but he managed to take on one of the thugs by himself. Impressed, the White Light took him on and trained him to be a crime fighter like herself. He soon became “The Prowler” and joined Lily on the streets, protecting and helping the citizens of Spiritus City.
Witty but hot-headed, Jayne acts before he thinks, which sometimes leaves him in some bad situations but he’s a good fighter and is ready for what’s out there.
Alex “Fist” Richards (Dominic Monaghan)
Once, he was a detective in Spiritus City but after saying some harsh words to his boss, Alex found himself unemployed, being deemed “unstable”. Furious, Alex knew he couldn’t just sit and watch Spiritus City crumble, he had to do something. He became his alter ego, FIST. Fist is harsh to the criminals of Spiritus City, leaving them close to death but not quite there.
Alex is strong and fast but has the tendency to go too far. He is still undecided on whether he feels he has the right to kill the criminals of Spiritus, like they have killed many others.
Natalie “The Runner” Burner (Alecia “P!nk” Moore)
Natalie Burner was simply bored with life and was seeking excitement when she decided to become a vigilante. She got way more then she bargained for. She became a masked vigilante she took on the criminals of Spiritus City. She works in the shadows, stalking her victims and picking them off one by one before fleeing the scene, earning her the name of “The Runner”. Unfortunately, she is at a disadvantage when it comes to hand to hand combat so she struggles in this area.
Natalie is friendly but has very strong views. She hates compromise and is a favourite when it comes to the Spiritus Vigilantes. She becomes friends with Inferno Girl through a strange series of events.
Hatty “Inferno” De Rast (Michelle Roudriguez)
She’d always been an angry girl and Hatty De Rast was always bitter ever since school. Travelling from psychiatrist to psychiatrist and from school to school, Hatty didn’t fit in anywhere. Her mother was a heroin addict and her father died before she was born, Hatty didn’t have the best start to life. One day, she was sitting alone in her apartment when four men broke in. They stole from her and then set fire to her house. Luckily, Hatty managed to escape. But something changed as she watched everything she owned burn. She became something different. She couldn’t just sit back and watch her city burn like her house, she had to do something.
She became Inferno Girl and hunted down and brought justice to the criminals of Spiritus City. “An eye for an eye” she believes. The only of the vigilantes to kill the criminals she feels deserve it which sparks a lot of controversy...
Simon “Warrior” Frost (Uncast)
Simon used to be a Bouncer at a local club until a group of gangsters came in and murdered everyone inside because the owner was “late” on a payment. Simon watched as the police did nothing and Simon became enraged as he saw innocent people die with no justice. He saw what The White Light was doing and decided to join her, becoming the Warrior of the innocent. Simon believes killing criminals makes a person just as bad as them so he and Inferno clash when it comes to dealing with criminals.
Simon may look like all muscles, but he has strong values and a good heart but everyone has their faults, don’t they...
RECURRING CAST
Wilson Siegfried
Siegfried used to be a well respected soldier in the army, that’s until his legs were blown off by a road side bomb and he was confined to a wheelchair. Since then, he has grown to live with his disability and has opened a weapon shop in Spiritus City Harbour. He was good friends with Lily’s parents and became Lily and Suzie’s guardian after the death of their parents. He was cautious at first when Lily told him she was planning to become a vigilante but he helped her nonetheless and soon realised she was exactly was this city needed.
Suzie Faith (Jewel Staite)
Lily’s younger sister. She’s very optimistic and a good friend to Lily. She owns a British-style pub in Spiritus City where Lily works shifts. Suzie does not have a stable love life, going from boyfriend to boyfriend leaving Lily to deal with the mess each time.
Cassie "Patch" Patchers
Cassie is in med-school and is the top of her class. She earned herself the knick name “Patch” from her friends as she is a brilliant doctor and also her last name. She was saved by The White Light on the night Lily was shot and saved Lily. Since then, she’s become a personal paramedic to the vigilante’s of the city and has made an oath not to tell anyone their identities.
Wendy Quintus (Jessy Schram)
A friend of Jayne’s who is a computer genius. Her parents own a computer shop and Wendy became close friends with one of the employees who taught her how to hack and “use the full potential of computers”. She helps Prowler occasionally and she and Jayne are very close.

As our heroes rush out to save her, they realise that this woman is more trouble then she looks like.
1x06 – ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER
1x07 – DORMANCY
1x08 – INHUMAN
1x09-1x13 – Under Wraps
There are 13 episodes per series, each episode as an A Story and a B Story (and sometimes a C Story).
Wow, that was longer then I intended! I just wanted to give people a clear view of the characters as it is very character driven. I am currently halfway through writing the pilot and I will post this up as soon as possible.
