Mia Kirshner is perfect for the role. Done deal. But Alex Pettyfer, as much of an a-hole that he is, may be a little too young for this particular character. But thanks, Darrin Ryan Phillippe is a little older than what I had in mind, but he has exactly the right look and personality I was looking for. So, I'm leaning toward him.

Go with Ryan Phillippe. He'd be perfect for that particular role. As your ''casting director,'' I command you.

haha! It doesn't hurt that he played just about the exact same character, give or take a few qualities, in Cruel Intentions. Love that movie.

So well I have two actors in mind for the role's I'm looking for, I thought I would put the descriptions up here and see what other actors come up, maybe find someone perfect I didn't think of..
Looking for a Male who's in his early 20's, to play a character named Jake Everette - Sarcastic, kind of a douche but not a bad guy, misunderstood, pushes people away who try and get too close.
Looking for a Female aslo early 20's, to play a character named Rachel Hall, she's warm, attractive, always looking for the next party, opinionated, can be a bitch to people she doesn't like.

I need help casting some characters in The Path.
Steven Seaver, Late 20s or Early 30s. He has just gotten out of the Armed Forces after 5 years serving the country in Iraq. He's compassionate and gentle but also has night terrors about the war.
Also casting for Mellie's Parents
Richard Seaver, Late 50s. A business man but also a very stern father who doesn't really show his feelings.
Ariana Seaver, Late 50s. The mother of Mellie and is also a binge drinker to cope with her Husbands constant yelling and bickering at her.

I have an 'I can't choose the lead actress' problem. I'm writing a LotR related mini series taking place in modern times. The main character is a 17 years old girl who always had an average life but she is destined for something greater. She's remote, shy and have to face many insulting in school (her classmates make fun of her name and her History teacher usually humiliates her in front of the class when she tells her own oppinion about the history). At first I imagined her to be played by Britt Robertson (who I know from The Secret Circle) and I know she is one of the main characters of The Super Teens but I couldn't get rid of her, I was so attached to my first choise. But then I saw Emily Osment in Cyberbully and her acting surprised me so much in a good way that now I can't decide who should play the main character. Which one should I choose? Or if you have any other suggestions I would gladly accept them ^^

I know it's so far only a pitch (and pilot) but I'm having a lot of trouble casting "Gramma Simmonds" .
She's one of the main character's grandmothers so obviously she would have to look mature. Preferably, I would also like her to look tough but wise. She would also have to be able to pass off as Hispanic or Latina.
EDIT: CASTED

In need of a little help re-casting a particular character from my upcoming pilot, "The Agency." The original actor was Jamie Dornan, but I'm beginning to think another actor may work better... and I can't think of one so, I'm asking you all! Read his bio below. Charles TaylorA man who perhaps likes his job as an assassin a little too much. Arrogant, selfish, and the closest thing to a bad guy without actually being one, Charlie has a way with turning a bad situation into a even worse one, and often is the cause of much stress for his co-workers and superiors. Gender: Male Age: Mid-20s - Early 30's Race: Not particular

The only person I can really think of is Bradley Cooper. He's late thirties, but he could pass for early. Sorry if this doesn't help! XD
