Wow... just Wow. That was great on so many different levels... really, I can't put it into words, but I'll try anyway. "Along Came a Spider/Seeing Red" was a wonderful pilot episode(s?) and it really opened up this fantastic world to us; introducing all these characters. The unique thing here for me is... I'm loving pretty much every character! Well, except Flash Thompson and MJs dad; them both I want to strangle with my own hands. As for the rest of the characters, like I said, I'm loving them all and I think they all melt together to form one heck of a show! Melanie with her pure awesomeness in the form of butt-kicking and fun lines (no explaination needed!), MJ being probably the best friend I could imagine, Kristen being... well, see Melanie's description only a whole lot darker. Euphoria is pretty high on my favorites list right now, she just seems so cool with all her high-tech stuff and elegant way of acting. I also enjoyed the way you wrote Bobby's character, the way you nearing the end of "Seeing Red" revealed him as a Mutant. Lance/Avalanche was deliciously evil without a real reason and I can't wait to see what he and Mystique ( ) come up with together. If I have to choose my three favorites so far (counting out Mystique... she's beyond any lists), I think it'll have to stand between Kristen, Bobby and Euphoria (tempted to break the rules of only three favorites and adding MJ as well!). Oh, and how could I forget to mention... I love the chemestry between Melanie and Xavier, they're just so cute together; a girl in a spider-suit and a bald man in a wheelchair. I can't help loving those odd duos. The cinematic thing I mentioned in my last post is something I'll say again: It all feels to deliciously cinematic and this show really feels special and very "out of the box". An amazing start to an (I'm sure of it) amazing series and I can't wait for next week's episode. 10/10 for both of them. Just one thing I am curious about and don't really grasp: are Melanie, MJ and Kristen lesbian? From the pilot episode, I got the feeling that Melanie and MJ were interested in each other, then in "Seeing Red" all of a sudden MJ calls Kristen her girlfriend. Sorry if I sound really stupid or am pointing out something obvious.

I'm about 25 pages into "Along Came A Spider" (wonderful title, by the way) and this is... just... amazing, already. Your show has got a very cinematic and exclusive style that really makes it stand out... and I'm loving every second (word?) of it. Melanie, I think, is a very strong protagonist and Spidey being a girl really works, because she gets to kick thug-ass while delivering hilarious lines... and the shock when the thug finds himself beaten by a lady adds to the feel. I'm already loving the chemestry between Melanie and MJ... I mean, really, loving it. They've got such a wonderful bond and I'm really melting at some of the things those two say to each other; great writing there. And let's not forget...
MYSTIQUE'S EYES ALREADY MADE A CAMEO! YEEEY!
I'll continue reading now and I'll post more comments on both this and "Seeing Red" together.

Let me just tell you how EXTREMELY promising this season looks right now... I mean, BTVS Season Two-quality (which has been called one of the best tv seasons). This episode is no exception; it had SO MUCH meat to it, from nice character development, Selina Kyle's hilarious comments (and I think I can at this point officially call myself a fan of her), the action... and (the thing that I loved the most in this one) the return of TWO-FACE! My god, did I not expect that, despite spotting the actor's name among the guest stars xD (pretty stupid of me, lol). Poor Helena... I'm really feeling for that girl and what she's gone through and will have to go through now. Though I'm a little surprised at the rabid reaction of the citizens, pulling down the door and all...
Overall, another wonderful episode filled with moments. 10/10.

Haha, It's probably gonna take me a good while to even think about Emma Roberts (SPOILEEEEERSSSSS!) portraying a sane person after Scream 4 xD. But I like it, she could pull off a Kitty Pryde (once I, again, shake the image of Pscyho-Jill)

[glow=blue,2,300]MYSTIQUE!!!!!!!! GAAAAH!![/glow]
Sorry, just had to get that out. You cannot imagine how excited I am for Mystique on this show. On all other shows/movies/comics, if someone asks me who my favorite character is I'll give them a whole list... but with X-Men, ask me who my favorite character is and the answer is ALWAYS a certain blue redhead, without any doubt. Mystique 4EVER! (: *Puts on fanboy-shirt and cap of Mystique*

Yes, that would be good. I for one never could have guessed that that was Emma Frost.

That was some season opener. Everything flowed on perfectly and I especially loved the bits with Lana and the students and Lex and Amanda. I liked the comment Amanda made about souls, which made me wonder... he may have gotten a heart, but what if Lex (the clone) truly woke up without a soul? Anyway, I also loved the part at the end, with Rachel floating. I've said it before and I'll say it again, your descriptions are really visual; I can see it all in my head as if I were actually watching it on television. That Rachel floating sequence at the end caught me with surprise as if I were watching it.
10/10

[glow=green,2,300]MAJESTIC[/glow] There was once The Majestic 12... but its members either died or scattered in the wind. Now, years later, there is a new group being assembled, as an increase in UFO activity happens simultaneously across the globe. Agents from many different facilities apply; everyone's anxious to be a part of the new Majestic. So many applicants... only room for five members. Who will be The Majestic 5? CASTCreepy? Yup, that's the word to describe Grissom Carpady (Sam Neill), vice-director of a facility in Bermuda. Desperate to get away from what he percieved as a hell, Carpady applied for The Majestic 5 and was ultimately chosen to serve as its leader. Carpady is very dominating and wants everything to be done his way, he believes that he is always right and everyone else is wrong. And then there's, again, the creepiness. Carpady likes to pop up unexpectedly, give people long, creepy stares, stuff like that. There's a cover-up in the works in Guatemala, who will you find there? Rosita Thalos (Laurie Holden) naturally. Rosita likes to be part of the action and always sees to it to come along with "those guys in black" that cover up the government's screw-ups and evidence of extraterrestrial life. Rosita is very cold and calculating and only trusts herself. She does, however, have one soft point... and that's her young daughter, Chloe... and the illness she carries that not even alien technology seems to be able to cure. Rosita applied partly for The Majestic 5 in the hopes of somewhere out there finding a cure for Chloe. He works for them, he does their dirty-work and always still makes it to the end of the day with a clean suit. Jack Tracer (Simon Baker), like Rosita, likes to work out on the field and even more so than her, he loves it when situations get heated, gun-fights, car-chases, you name it. The Majestic 5 was the new hot thing and naturally, Tracer applied. She's the suburban workers wife who everyone likes and who nobody can hate, she has family and lots of friends. No one would have suspected Salma Craven (Queen Latifah) to be one of the government's best assassins. Like a shadow, she creeps into your home and you're dead before you even realize what happened. Salma admits that she is a sadist and enjoys killing, thus explaining away that her job for the government keeps her from unleashing her sadastic part onto her family and friends. Salma applied for The Majestic 5 because of the encouragment of her co-workers. One of the government's sharpest minds, Donovan Graves (Robert Carlyle) is always at the front of things. He is, however and simply put, insane and things go on in his mind that nobody around him could even begin to guess. Graves has a very dark past and it's something that he never speaks of. He didn't apply for The Majestic 5 himself, but was instantly placed there by ranking Agents when the assembling of the group was first announced. SUPPORTING/RECURRING CASTSHIRLEY MANSON as Clarissa Keppler EPISODES1x01/1x02 "Submersion" (Two-hour series premiere) Synopsis: Coming Soon! Creator's Words: Pitch-addicts? *Raises hand* Yup, I've decided to reboot my "Area 51" pitch another storyline that also allows for the series to travel all over the globe. I truly am determined to get this one out of my system and to get it written, because this was the idea that deserved my attention the most from the entire beginning. I've started writing the pilot and the opening scenes are flowing on surprisingly well. There is NO WAY I'll let this one slip off my mind!

I'm sorry I haven't dropped by in a long while, I've been busy with RL. I promise I'll read and comment on "Mentor" very soon.
I was just wondering about Lex. In the series finale of Smallville, he looses all of his memories... so, I was wondering how that will play out for Trinity? I mean, if you stick to the fact that he's lost his memories, then his and Lana's interaction will loose its effect, if he doesn't remember her. I was just curious about that.

Wow... make that a double Wow. This was one hell of an episode. I love that almost all the characters got their fair share of spotlight... and I have to admit, I'm slowly starting to like Selena. She's a very resourceful young woman and I loved the moment when she slashed Falcone with that concealed knife. I have VERY high hopes for this season and I can't WAIT for the next episode (and for a certain episode called "Arkham")!
