Thanks for the honest review Keisha. I agree that the pilot doesn't express the emotion as directly as it could have been. I focused a lot on the plot and dialogue and spent less time bringing the emotion. Probably because I used it in the dialogue instead of separate actions. Next time I'll try to balance it out more. If you decide to give the show another chance, hopefully you'll see an improvement next week. Your welcome, Chris. Of course I'll continue to follow the show! I have strong expectations for it and it can only get better from here. These are things that can easily be fixed and I have a lot of faith in you. :-D

1) My name is Keisha.
2) I am from South Florida.
3) Watchdogs is my first virtual series and the first time I've ever written in proper script format. I actually tailored it specifically for this network. Previously, wrote only in prose and half prose/half script.
4) Huge nerd. Love Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter.
5) Am black. (OOOOOH SNAP)
6) Am double-jointed. Can twist my arms all the way behind my back.
7) 2 time national champion cheerleader. (Had to throw that in there because it's so random)
8) Can't speak more than one language fluently but in the process of learning Spanish and Elvish. From then on I plan to learn Russian, German, and French.
9) Not as antisocial as I seem. Really am outgoing once I get past the shy stage so feel free to chat any time!
10) Have met James and Oliver Phelps (Weasley Twins), Mercedes McNab (Harmony from Buffy), Ray Park (Darth Maul), John Knoble (Denethor), and the entire Florida Marlins team on multiple occasions because I'm such a stalker. ( Lol not really...but seriously...)

Disclaimer: This review reflects my honest opinion and is in no way an attack on the writer or the show. Carry on.
Honestly, I was a little underwhelmed. I expected more.
The spelling/grammar was distracting for me because there was so much of it. I kept reading things like their as opposed to there and misspelled words that took me out of the script. It came off as a little rushed and I would suggest rereading to fix those errors.
The spacing was also a distraction. The blank pages between acts took me out of the script for a bit because it was so different. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.
While I appreciate your elaborate descriptions, I would have liked to see a bit more go towards the character emotions. I found the script lacking some depth because we don't know how they're supposed to respond. The script comes off as a little cold because I was unable to emotionally connect with the characters. I need to be able to get inside their heads more and understand who they are. They need to be real people. For example, the scene between Cynthia and her foster mom Jolie when she arrived home past curfew came off as a bit contrived. I don't think it is natural for a character to speak in all exclamation points. There are variations. Perhaps it would help to describe Jolie's tone of voice. Is she stern? Or is she just shrieking as it would appear? Does Cynthia shift weight on her heels when she is talking? Does Jolie have her hand on her hip in an aggressive manner? Little details like that add a lot more to script and I think it would really help for you to utilize that.
An area that I did find refreshing was when Quentin visited Valentina's grave. That was a great display of character development because he came off as a real person. It was a very sentimental scene.
The concept itself is really strong. A heroine who works as an assistant by day and fights crime by night. It's really something to latch onto. I also like the subplot with these mysterious government figures chasing after Cynthia because she is different. These are great ideas that simply need a better execution.

This is a well thought out show. You have a great vision and amazing concept. The script format, like you said, needs a little tweaking but it's really good. I enjoyed it. Hopefully this gets the green light because it is an awesome project. :-D

I have never watched an episode of Smallville and don't know anything about these characters but I thoroughly enjoyed the script. It was very well written and I could just picture everything happening.
Like Chris said before, you have a keen eye for characterizations. Even though I don't know her from canon, I thought the character Chloe was very interesting and relate-able. Her and this Oliver character have a certain chemistry I find very intriguing. I want to see more.
I also enjoyed your portrayal of Bruce Wayne. I love the complexity you've added to him, making him not a pure good/bad guy.
Overall, this is a fantastic start to the series. Some minor errors here and there but nothing that really took away from the script. Very excited to see what you produce for next week.

I just put the name of the character speaking and then (cont'd). Essenatially writing it like it's a new dialoge but it's just continued. Hope that helps.

Haha, there was this one I want to do called Blackwell's. Never happening, though. It centered around a group of people working at a publishing house, making books. Would have been a sitcom.
