Ooooo! I LOVED this show! I thought it was great!
My favorite character would be Vivian. I thought she was a strong woman who wasn't just gonna be like typical story women and get hurt and need help. She did great with those people trying to kill them in that one episode with the intruders.
My least favorite character would have to be..... Violet. I don't like angry teenagers that think they know everything. xD and she had enough attitude to fuel a whole city. However, I thought she came to as the end of the season came. I liked that twist. It was a SHOCK.
Favorite episode would have to be.... I don't know, I cannot decide, they were allllll so good!

I PROMISE to treat her like a piece of old art. Unless she is into that sort of rough stuff... well then... no promises. xD

Hello Outcasts team!
I was told by a close friend of mine that there was an awesome story running on an alternative universe of Marvel characters, more specifically the X-Men, and I was enthralled. Though I have only been on this site for a little while, I could not stop reading the episode BEFORE the Christmas episode.
I have plans to read the rest of the episodes at a later date, but I wanted to get a feel for the series first before I decided to devote myself to it.
SO NOW I SHOULD REVIEW! Bare in mind, I have never done this before! So please do not hate me if this review is full of epic failure. xD
First off, the way that this is written. Is so PERFECT it is almost scary. Like, I have read a LOT of fan fiction in my life, and most of it is just TERRIBLE. But not this. The characters are amazing, the writing is amazing. So REFRESHING from all the teen dramas that are just as terrible.
I have to say my favorite character is MJ. I think she fits so well with her original self. Even though Marvel changed her up like twenty or so hundred times, it's nice to see that she sticks to one personality for a change.
But I LOVE Kristen. I think she is a great Alterni-clops. I mean, Scott is cool and all. But I think Kristen is an awesome replacement for him, and though I liked all of the original characters I can honestly say I don't know which I like more.
I haven't read scripts. Not a lot, but I have to say this episode (Episode 10, if I didn't specify) and all the action was pretty fun to read. Your attention to detail is great, I can just see everything in my head like it is happening in a movie. And I greatly appreciate that. Especially since I am so airheaded! xD
I really liked Magneto. SUCH a great rendition of him that in fact it's like you write for him in the real comics. I thought that his debonair kind of sinister badness yet not really all that bad was really well put throughout. And from what I hear from the friend that recruited me, he stays that way throughout the entire series.
You know, despite what Haylee is, you know, a monster. I really like her and Felicia's dynamic. Their friendship that is. I thought it was cute despite knowing what both of them really are. Proof that there CAN be honor amongst thieves. I really like their back and forth and I hope they remain friends throughout the rest of the series. And on Haylee, I think she is sadistically twisted and well written. I cannot wait to see what real tragedies she can bring to the bad guy table. I am sure she will be able to stand on her own without the rest of her family and their already large shadows.
My favorite scene in the whole episode... was the second to last. The one with Melanie and Mary-Jane. I thought that was so adorable and I really wish I had that awesome of friends. I am really sorry to hear that Melanie is gonna kiss Gwen in the episode to follow. (Read that in that other thread) Cause if this wasn't a couple that was meant to be, then I don't know WHAT is.
What I look forward to in the season:
I would really like to know more about Melanie as a person. Like, her family and stuff. Mom and Dad and all that. I think an episode like that would be awesome.
I think that I would like to see Kristen break out of her shell. She is slowly starting to become my favorite character because I have always loved Scott. And I just see her perfectly as his replacement. I want to know what she is about. Maybe even see her sibling or even talk about them. I just cannot wait to see more of her and how she fares in her leadership position.
ANYWAYS! Back onto the episode itself! I thought, for even picking it up THIS far into the season, it was so easy to follow. intricately written. So full of detail, character and life, that I am gonna REMAIN a loyal fan and read the previous episodes. I think that you two, Aimee and Maddie write very well together and I wish you nothing but the best of luck in the coming episodes!
OH rating! 10/10. No. 11/10. It was brilliant. Loved it. And thanks for putting the time and effort into this FANTASTIC show!
