nice graphics, Brady, but on a purely technical point... how on Earth would Janice hit anything?!? You've got the lasers going in an outward way, not the way she's looking, so she would always miss whatever she looks at!

to add my two cents, I agree a lot with what Chris says, about the fact the story could be better told over to episodes, instead of one, and certain actions taken, as well as the fantastic descriptions of environments. But there are two aspects I differ on.
1) The character of Lily, to me, strikes me more as a 'sociopath', not a 'psychopath' - I might be remembering wrongly, but Lily never killed until she was fired from her job, is that right? A psychopath would not be able to control their desire to commit acts of violence for that long. She only killed because in her mind, a line was crossed.
2) The whole novelty of all these nifty gadgets they have strikes me a little too convenient - these guys are the worst of the worst apparently, but they've been given all these new toys, and free reign to jump dimension to dimension? Surely, if the Government was THAT concerned about all these murderers, rapists and societal dregs they've sent to unknowing dimensions, they would hold a tighter rein on the two people they've 'contracted' to bring them all back? They may be doing a job, but their still criminals. I personally thought it would make more sense for them to have to physically take the captured criminal back to 'Home Base' themselves, and report back in - kind of like how the convicts worked in "Breakout Kings".

I've just watched "World's Finest", the 3-part episode story of "Superman: The Animated Series" where Batman and Superman first meet, and discover each other's alter egos... and although I know it will never happen, with Lois already knowing Clark's secret, and them being a couple, but it makes me wish we could see some "Brois" action in Season 3!

don't forget "The Cape" and her role as Orwell... that didn't go well. Also, apparently, if "Alphas" had come back for a 3rd season, she would have come back as a main character... that one got nipped in the bud quickly. Poor girl.

I could totally see Quentin, in a moment of pique calling them "Lana and the Crime Fighters" or something equally corny-as-hell, or someone like Stuart turning up and labelling them "Quentin's Angels" Team names are always going to sound a little iffy, even in the comic books - the Birds of Prey team were never actually called that until Lady Zinda joined up, and even then, it took her a while before she mentioned it!

NICE WORK, BRADY!! I definitely support the idea of a male-leads one as well. I just love the fact Jill was included, I feel so honoured!!

I've been having some of the same issues as I plan out M:SCU, trying to have crimes that warrant special attention, but aren't TOO big that someone would just ask "Where's Superman?" Now that it’s essentially been established Clark IS off-world, I think I might go back to the pilot and add a throwaway line that he is AWOL, just to cement the case Maggie makes about not relying on superheroes all the time. Have to add, LOVE the idea of Batman meeting Superman under those kind of conditions - it would cement the fact that this is the man who carries a piece of kryptonite around all the time JUST in case.

is Brady jumping on the Jack Malone band wagon and teasing us with the killing of a character?! to me, 'tragedy' equates to 'dying'

it still says (Stanford) in the 'Premise' bit... love the idea of Jensen and Katie being reunited, given their time together SO LONG AGO in "Supernatural", and I've loved Justin since I saw him in the "National Treasure" films and "The New Normal". I always liked the episodes Jayne appears in "Criminal Minds" and how her character has evolved, be nice to see her take a more proactive leadership role. This show would fill the void left by "Edge of Vision" for sure!

if people need to get used to Chloe not being a blonde bombshell anymore... they should check Allison Mack out in "Wilfred"! Saw a piccie of her sporting a dark brown bob, I nearly choked!

honestly, Jack, all this death and chaos you write - does anyone else think maybe he's using writing to sublimate latent sociopathic tendencies?!

Brady, mate, I don't mean to be a stickler, but I've noticed something of a continuity error in Super Battle, Part 2 - in the teaser scene. After Mrs. Uuscio tells Jonathan to shut up, he is then said to go ZAP, and disappear, but suddenly after Clark's new power saves the day, he's back to be gusted away against the D.U. sign, and knocked unconscious...

wow, no one has commented in this thread since May?! Let us correct that oversight!
The Super Teens, for me, is something of a guilty pleasure - I mean that as a compliment, Brady! Programs like Trinity and Watchtower, they have an established genre and backstory, coming from the Smallville universe, whereas TST strives to make it's own mark as part of the 'main line up' of the VPN. I think it has succeeded, because I read every episode of the 2nd half of the season as it was released, EXCEPT for the 2-part finale, which was spread over a three-week period because of Brady not having access to the Internet. I did this because I knew I would much rather not see how it 'cliffhangered' to lead into part 2, but rather read it all in one go! Without giving too much away for those who haven't read it, the finale really delivers action, emotion and a lot of secrets coming to the fore and being exposed. If TST comes back for a second season, though, Brady, I hope you take the opportunity to clear away some of the dead weight - you talked about in reply to one review that the show is about family, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions about the Knox', and I personally feel that with them constantly turning to the Uscios (sp?), they are getting things a little too easily, and it takes away from the main characters being developed - the only real member of that family I like is Mrs. Uscio, and that's only because of her past with "Chosen", but even then, they don't really feel like proper characters to me, yet, just foils, as it were. I am looking forward to seeing how the knowledge of the family secret will change the dynamic with Lucy, Fred and Heather, not to mention Jade, and where Debbie's storyline will go after (SPOILERS) that cliffhanger...

currently writing Episode 2 of WTTV, and as part of my research for the outline/writing for 1x04 of M:SCU, I'm gonna go hunt through my comic books collection and pull out the "Corrigan" graphic novel and read through that to get a proper sense of how to plan out the episode I'm basing on it. Also planning the outline for the finale of my frist season of my Torchwood London audio series, which is gonna have to tie up quite a few loose ends!
