Misfits

[Brady Brown]

Misfits follows five early-20s delinquents on community service in Wertham (a fictional borough in London) who are caught outside during a supernatural thunder storm and who acquire special powers. Initially, the show focused on five young adults. Kelly (Lauren Socha) gains the ability to hear the thoughts of others, Curtis (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett) can rewind time after experiencing an immense sense of regret, Alisha (Antonia Thomas) sends people into a sexual frenzy when they touch her skin, Simon (Iwan Rheon) can become invisible, and Nathan (Robert Sheehan) is immortal.

This is such a character driven series! It's so amazing! I recommend it for everybody! (Except children xD)

So, who's your favorite character, season, episode, etc?

I love this show! It's one of my favorites, definitely! XD Picking favorite characters on this show is quite hard for me, because I like a lot of them. But, my top three would have to be Kelly, Simon and Nathan. I also love Alisha & Rudy. Curtis isn't a favorite, but I don't dislike him. So, they're all pretty cool, but Kelly, Simon and Nathan are my favorites.

Favorite season? Probably season 2, though they've all be been pretty much equally good. I don't think I have a favorite episode I'm always pretty useless when it comes to that question.

Looking forward to series 4, and the new characters it'll have

I know!! One of my favorites, too! My favorites would be...damn they are hard to choose! xD But I definitely love Kelly, Alisha and Simon. Nathan is pretty hilarious, though! I have the same thoughts on Curtis.

My favorite season would be... Ugh either one or two. I can't choose! I LOVED the season one finale. But I don't know if it'd be my favorite episode.

Can't wait for Series 4! It should be amazing! ;D

Season 4 is underway, however sadly Antonia and Iwan aren't going to be in it . But we've got Jess, Alex and Finn to replace them! So it should be cool!

My favourite by far was Alisha - such a slag, but then I grew to enjoy Kelly - and her now power is such irony to who she is xD.

I had seen this show mentioned on another forum that I frequent and thought that I would look into trying to find a way to watch it. After seeing this thread and really started searching and found the episodes on HuluPlus.

Now, I am only through Episode 2, but I already know I am going to love this show. It is such an interesting take not the superpower genre and I love all of the suspense that each episode contains. I look forward to continuing through the 3 series that have already aired!

After hearing that Kelly isn't returning, I think I'm going to move on from this show. It had a great storyline that played out for three seasons, and I particularly like how the story wrapped in the finale, so I'm pretty content to just leave it at that (now that Kelly isn't back).

If I hear good things about the fourth series, I might jump on board, in hopes that Nathan, or Kelly might resurface -- I think there were rumblings that Alisha could resurface too at some point, but I think that was just a rumour. Either way, the show goes through its cast way too quickly, for a series that has 6-8 episodes a year. You grow insanely attached to them because of how great the writing is, and then they leave.

I miss Simon, Kelly and Alisha already, but... I guess I'm in for season four.
