I want to dedicate my summer (and beyond) to a ''Five Pages a Day Initiative," where I must write AT LEAST five pages of the current script I'm working on, a day, as long as I have a finished outline. If everything goes as planned, in under two weeks time (maybe less if I extend the number of pages) I'll have a finished script. Do you think it can be done, successfully? If so, who wants to join me? Perhaps we can upload the pages, or at least a scene or two from them each day to track our progress, and with each page completed, we get "Page Points," and if we don't make it to 5 pages on a certain day, they don't get the full amount of points. The writer with the most points get a prize? Self-satisfaction and praise. Or... you know... not. P.S. I feel like this may be one of those things in the movie where the dude is like "Who's with me!!?" and we get serenaded by crickets. I hope not. Either way, I'm really hoping I stick with this.

I will totally join you! Because I want to get back into the swing of one script per week (which is how I used to be with Outcasts until a wave of drama hit me and my crew from all sides), I might up my to 10 pages a day, but regardless, I will be joining you on this most definitely.

I think there will be many times where we would bump the page count up a bit, if we get into the script enough to write more than five pages. But five should be the least amount of pages to be written. If we write more.... hell, even better Yay! Kerry and Aimee! Really excited to get this started, and I hope it becomes a practice for a lot of writers here on the forum, including me because I'm so freaking lazy.

I think I'll start my pages tonight. I'm in the writing mood, and feeling particularly inspired and I've got a finale to put the final scenes on. In fact, I'll start right now.

I would so do this! ....except I'm way to lazy. XD This would be so awesome, but laziness overtakes everything. Best of luck to everyone else, though!

I am totally down for this. I need to get my butt in gear and get more writing done. Is there a start date?? I'm thinking it'll be an ongoing thing. Whenever you finish an outline, you'll come in here to notify everyone that you're about to begin your Five Daily Pages, and keep us updated each day on your progress. At least, that's how I think I'm going to do it.

Yesterday I was able to focus and write 5 pages. Now up to page 17 of episode 4. Finding it a lot easier to write when I'm not following a strict outline. Hopefully this momentum will continue into this weekend and I will be able to finish it and move on.

^ I may try that today. Writing without a strict outline. I doubt it'll work for me, but I'd say it's worth a shot.

I don't think that would work for me. I've never tried, but I don't see myself writing that way. I wish I could though.

Yeah, I'm so used to writing a complete outline and following it, but I have been finding it really difficult lately to actually sit down and write one. So I thought I would do the whole jot notes 'this is what needs to happen' now write thing, and it's been pretty productive so far. Hoping to finish this episode this weekend and move onto five.
