I thought I would start this thread, so we can discuss the shows recently picked up to series on the different networks, such as ABC, NBC, FOX, and more... The shows I'm most looking forward to are "Last Resort" coming to ABC, "Revolution," to be produced by J.J Abrams (Alias, Lost, Fringe) and Eric Kripke (Supernatural) which will be heading to NBC this fall. Also, ABC's "666 Park Avenue," and "Zero Hour" seem interesting. And of course, "Arrow" and "Beauty and the Beast" from TheCW. So, why don't you all talk about your most anticipated shows of the new season Any news and/or trailers you find for these shows can be posted up here as well.

I am very excited for Revolution - I think I have watched the preview like 7 times by now. And I am also excited for 666 Park Avenue.
Can't wait to read/see more from The CW after their upfronts tomorrow!

I like the premise for "Cult," but I'm not sure if The CW is the right network for it. Hopefully the show will find an audience, and succeed there, unlike "Ringer."

Wow. Just realized how much I don't pay attention to CBS or FOX. I don't even know what new shows they've picked up, and frankly, I could care less. Knowing CBS, they've probably got more cop dramas, and FOX has probably been busy picking up useless cooking competition shows, and of course... sh*t comedies.

Revolution looks heaps good. I think I'll like Last Resort too. 666 Park Avenue and Zero Hour could go either way, but I'm hoping at least one of them will be good. I'm most excited for Revolution, Arrow, Beauty and the Beast, Last Resort, and Cult. Looking forward to seeing some trailers from the CW tomorrow or the day after.

I just found a reason to pay more attention to CBS.
I think producers don't seem to have a creative or original bone in their body nowadays, but Lucy Liu is one actress I cannot resist, even though I'm trying really hard to. I'll give this show a watch, just for her.

Are you kidding me? This is going to be a crappy version of "Sherlock" with just more episodes. I'll prolly check this out but love the BBC series and movies more.

Definitely. BBC's "Sherlock" is awesome, and this will probably be crap, and definitely should not be made at all. But damn... Lucy Liu. lol!

I don't know, I think that the switch-up for 'Watson' will separate the show from other versions - it is one of the only reasons BBC didn't go through with their lawsuit, because the creators/producers were willing to make several changes to the show (including Watson's gender, and I think, the name of the show). Watching the trailer, it DOES remind me of the BBC series, however, I think it has got that American spin which will make it different. Plus, like Jason said, Lucy Lui. XD

Of all the new FOX shows, I think I would try this one before any of the rest. Most of them really seem quite dull and redundant.
Don't know how this works in terms of longevity, but we shall see.

I'm also saying this as a HUGE fan of the original books, the old time radio program, the new movies, the older movies and shows, Moffat's Sherlock...there are only so many reproductions I want to see. What I can see happening is if this tanks it will be one of those "Oh those American's tried to copy us and sucked". Maybe it will be good and I'm wrong.
