I can't say I'm a big fan of Smallville but I did watch a few seasons from the very beginning. Lana Lang always intrigued me as a great character. I went back and did some re-watching and her exits were upsetting but it left this major new story for someone to tell and I see alot of new stories, challenges with Lana and in your hands, it'll be great so hurry up and air this damn show, hehe. Cannot wait!

Disclaimer: This review reflects my honest opinion and is in no way an attack on the writer or the show. Carry on.
Honestly, I was a little underwhelmed. I expected more.
The spelling/grammar was distracting for me because there was so much of it. I kept reading things like their as opposed to there and misspelled words that took me out of the script. It came off as a little rushed and I would suggest rereading to fix those errors.
The spacing was also a distraction. The blank pages between acts took me out of the script for a bit because it was so different. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.
While I appreciate your elaborate descriptions, I would have liked to see a bit more go towards the character emotions. I found the script lacking some depth because we don't know how they're supposed to respond. The script comes off as a little cold because I was unable to emotionally connect with the characters. I need to be able to get inside their heads more and understand who they are. They need to be real people. For example, the scene between Cynthia and her foster mom Jolie when she arrived home past curfew came off as a bit contrived. I don't think it is natural for a character to speak in all exclamation points. There are variations. Perhaps it would help to describe Jolie's tone of voice. Is she stern? Or is she just shrieking as it would appear? Does Cynthia shift weight on her heels when she is talking? Does Jolie have her hand on her hip in an aggressive manner? Little details like that add a lot more to script and I think it would really help for you to utilize that.
An area that I did find refreshing was when Quentin visited Valentina's grave. That was a great display of character development because he came off as a real person. It was a very sentimental scene.
The concept itself is really strong. A heroine who works as an assistant by day and fights crime by night. It's really something to latch onto. I also like the subplot with these mysterious government figures chasing after Cynthia because she is different. These are great ideas that simply need a better execution.

I feel the complete opposite to Keisha. Here's my review:
Trinity is pure gold. The show opens up in the action, which I'm not sure if you told me it was the future or it was during the present, but it worked so well! The voice overs are the start really introduced us to the hero of the show, while the rest of the episode established the character behind the title, Lana Lang.
The references made to its mother show, Smallville, about Lex Luthor were so perfectly done. It showed us Lana's fear, yet her connection to the character as well.
Quentin/Lana are the iconic friendship of the show, I believe. There is still Pete, another living breathing reference that is hopefully going to be in every season, but I think you've really grasped at the Chloe & Clark relationship of Smallville, and turned into something more unique and wonderful. Those two will be the characters I'm going to be tuning in each week for, because they were so well written -- and had quite a few emotionally gripping scenes.
Last of all, there's the Amanda Waller story. Being a huge fan of her on Smallville, you've really done her justice. She's fierce, yet still conducts stuff behinf her desk -- and her task to get Cynthia was an amazing way to bring in both characters.
Through all the twist and turns so early on for the first episode, characters and relationships were established, whilst keeping the overflowing layer of Action, Drama, and a hint of humor.
10/10 - Great way to start an action series. Establishes characters and relationships well.

Thanks for the honest review Keisha. I agree that the pilot doesn't express the emotion as directly as it could have been. I focused a lot on the plot and dialogue and spent less time bringing the emotion. Probably because I used it in the dialogue instead of separate actions. Next time I'll try to balance it out more. If you decide to give the show another chance, hopefully you'll see an improvement next week.

I was worried that the scenes with the references to Lex were maybe a little too soon but I'm glad you didn't think so. I wanted a strong friendship. I think the Lana/Quentin relationship is a reincarnation of Chloe/Clark only but Lana see's Quentin as a little more than just a friend in some instances. Which is why its so interesting to unravel their relationship throughout the series. Amanda Waller, well is Amanda Waller. LOL

Episode one was amazing . I give it a 10 out of 10. I love the plot that you have given and I like that you have Amanda Waller in it. . here is what I thought of each character: Lana: I love that she has changed so much from the girl we knew in Smallville. I like that she is an amazing character and that she is working with somebody to fight crime in New York. I also like how she is so quick to take out Lex. It just shows that she still harbors deep resentment for him. Quentin: I like him . He is nice and smart. Although he doesnt seem like much of a fighter since Lana had to save him. He seems like Chloe to me. Since he is the gadget guy of the duo. I didnt know he was married. Im sure that will make good plot lines later on down the line. Cynthia: She is amazing. Although her life seems pretty tragic. I still cant believe that she is trusting Amanda Waller of all people. I want to know if she is going to start working with Waller in checkmate. I just love the way she acts. Waller: Didnt see her till the end but all i have to say is Amazing Pete: Another familiar face. I like him. I dont have much to say since he only has one-two scenes. Question time: 1. Will Lana find out what has happened in smallville anytime soon? 2. Are Quentin and Lana going to become lovers? 3. What are Cynthia's powers exactly? 4. Will we get to see Tess Mercer at any time in the series? 5. Will that vision that Cynthia have about her and Quentin come to pass? 6. Will Waller make any references to Gotham? 7. Does Lana know about Chloe faking her death? 8. When is Lana going to see Lex for real? ALL in ALL this was a good episode

Episode one was amazing . I give it a 10 out of 10. I love the plot that you have given and I like that you have Amanda Waller in it. . here is what I thought of each character: Wow, thanks for that amazing rating. I'm so glad you enjoyed the pilot. And of course, I had to put the Wall in there. Well it's been 3 years since she left Smallville. I wanted to show everyone that she's matured as a woman and is getting so close to discovering her destiny though she hasn't forgot the past and who she used to be. Quentin is my favorite character to write for in this show. Possibly my favorite character ever. He's so much fun. He's loyal, funny..everything Lana needs in a partner and best friend. I think he keeps her sane in the dark city she lives in. You are going to see some plots in regards to his dead wife throughout the season. Thank you. Cynthia, not being an original character, was a little more difficult to write for because I hadn't seen her in anything previously. So I really had to take what we knew about her and build up new traits to make her relate to the other characters. She's also fun to write for. Episode 2 has much more Waller so, you'll like that. Again, you'll see more of him in upcoming episodes Question time: I don't think I'll bring it up. I'll just let everybody assume what she knows and doesn't now. I think it would be useless to bring that up because it really has nothing to do with her character or the show. But things may change if I feel it's needed. Can't tell you that! lol Quentin cares about Lana, very much. We can tell that Lana has some kind of feelings for him as well, but will they make more of it? Only time will tell. Cynthia is able to see the future, which is not one of her powers in the comics. I added that ability to help the story. She can also effectively become invisible. Further in the season, her powers will grow and we will discover another ability of her which is being able to cast illusions. Should be fun. I think we should see what's her fate in Smallville s10 before I make any plans for her to guest star. Even if she's not dead, I'm not sure we will be seeing her in Trinity. I can say, it will. But it may not be as it seems. She may bring it up during some dialogue between her Checkmate agents. But nothing to big. No, she does not. At least, not yet. She thinks she's actually dead. I can't say when or how but we are definitely making plans for Lex to return in Lana's life. Thanks Karl! Can't wait to see what you think about the next episode.

The second episode, entitled "Shock" had a great story, some fantastic character moments, and two major twists, that I felt were rather big: Waller learning about Lana, and Jake Gold entering the picture, under Waller's control. Basically the premise of the episode is that Waller is using this metahuman 'Hawkins' to retrieve this device from the Odyseey Bank vault -- and it gets caught on the news. Lana, being the hero she is, goes off to stop him and Waller learns of her blurring act. From then on, a war rages between Lana and Hawkins that gets pretty interesting; especially with these purple crystals affecting her suit and strength. The Minor plot of the episode centers around Cynthia and Quentin, who have a great dynamic going on with him wanting to save her, and wanting to show her that he is one of the good guys. I'm not too keen on them being a couple just yet, because I guess I'm one for the Lana/Quentin best friend relationship, but its still pretty early on. I think what made this a great episode, rather than a Freak of the Week was that it had some awesome character moments, from Pete and Lana at work, to Amanda Waller being in charge over at Checkmate. It had detailed action throughout, which makes this genre show even more enjoyable (plus I love girls kicking ass, especially Lana Lang!). And last of all, like I said above, the two twists in the episode. I'm excited for next week, enjoyed this episode. I give it a 9.5/10, the only thing I'd like to see improve is the script length. I'd just like to see the script go for longer, and be able to stall doing my homework just a bit more haha. Other than that, fantastic episode, great story, great installment from the previous episode "Odyssey". This season looks promising.

Thanks Jack! Don't worry, their relationship won't as seen in that vision Cynthia had won't come around any time soon, if at all in a realistic sense because it may not be as it seems. I think Quentin is just very protective of Cynthia in way that can't really be explained. Thanks a lot for the review, hopefully you'll like next weeks episode as much as you did this week.
