Just read "Extract" and I think its my favourite episode out of them all. Every single character in the script had become favourited, especially the often irritating Cynthia. I loved her in this episode. Not only the characters, but the story was elevated into such a suspenseful event that anything could have happened, and as the last few moments began to happen, I was seriously jumping in my seat; the whole episode was exciting.
Missing last week's episode, I'm glad you added the previously on, it was a nice touch, very needed (for me haha), and made it that much more ... epic ... is a term I'd use for this episode.
What I loved about Trinity, was that you spent the majority of the season (so far), establishing the characters as being separated from each other. It started with basically Lana and Quentin. Then branched off, and all this stuff was happening with Cynthia joining Checkmate, Lana getting a job and running into Pete, Quentin and Cynthia forming a connection (which I think killed the character for me in the previous episodes), and it was all very twisty and turny.
And this episode spun everything on its head. Cynthia, to me, stepped up and became a hero, in my eyes. She wanted to save her friends, and prove she was a force of good. And in the end, all the characters working with Amanda (excluding Cheshire of course), became an army, working against Amanda. I think that was a great setup, as I wasn't sure what it was leading to, and was thoroughly surprised, enjoying every moment of "Extract".
I predict that the remaining season, although with its epic twist and turns (thats a given as you're writing this Chris haha), will have a war between Checkmate and this new alliance of characters. I'm hoping to see the Quentin/Lana relationship explored a bit, don't have to literally pin them together (although I'd enjoy it), but I'd like to see them growing.
I'd like to see Cynthia become a more mature character. Learning what it means to be a hero, and how to re-establish her friendship with Quentin.
I don't have much left to say about the episode, but overal, I give it a 10/10.
Excellent storyline that tipped the story on its head, and gave Amanda, the bad-ass of all bad-asses, a run for her money (can't wait to see where the hell she disappeared to), and yeah, bring on the rest of season one!! xD

Okay, I'm going to give my review of your brilliant midseason finale episode, "Extract".
You started it of, and BAM! Lana's being dragged through Checkmate. I loved the way you went straight to business in the teaser. Amanda revealed herself as the White Queen pretty early on and that, I didn't expect. Thought you'd wait all the way til the end for everyone to actually find out about her. But, I must say that I'm soo glad you did it this way. Very nice!
I love how you connect these characters together. Like Jack said, they began pretty separated and this episode was all about bringing them together as they form a real team of heroes. I'm loving what you're doing with Jake by the way, I think he's going to be a great part of team Trinity.
So, lets go to Mr. Gold. His first few scenes of the episode, he was confused and on a quest to remember, SOMETHING about his life and when he finally got his memories back, he went on a rampage toward Amanda which I loved. It was great to see her being vulnerable for a change.
Okay...fine. Cynthia wasn't THAT horrible in this episode. I can't say I truly "like" the character yet, but keep this up and I may begin to pretty soon. She seems like she's trying to redeem herself and show Lana & Quentin that she really is sorry. So I'll say that I'm looking forward to seeing how she patches up this relationship when the show returns.
GREAT! We saw some good old Quentin and Lana interactions in this episode. They had to be locked up in a cage for it but hell, I'll take what I can get. I love these two, and I think ever sense Cynthia came around, she's been getting more scenes with Quentin than Lana should have been. So that was great to see. I'm still hoping that one of these days, they'll get into some type of romantic relationship. It may not be now or anytime soon but I really hope it's something you explore soon.
Now! This is what I'm talking about! Pete, right in there where the action's at! Please keep this up! I want to see more of his character and I want to see him involved with Lana and the others. It's crazy how I think just about everyone in this show has the potential to be in a relationship with each other. Pete/Cynthia, based on this episode could work out pretty well. Also, Cynthia/Jake. They've got a lot in common, both being manipulated by Amanda. Hopefully Cynthia will hook up with one of them and soon. This Quentin/Cynthia stuff really gets on my nerve. LOL Gah!
OMG! Amanda was excellent in this episode, as always. She's my favorite character and I think you really do the character justice. You always say you're evil when you're writing and I think that's why you write her character so very well. LOL You're projecting yourself into the script. LOL You're soo nice all the time, the only time you can be mean is when you're writing. ha ha It's so funny. Okay, back to the script. Amanda's cliffhanger was GREAT! That man in the helicopter is TOTALLY Lex Luthor! At least, I hope he is! I mean come on, he had a effin " L " on his ring! But you never gave his fave away! Dammit! How can you tease us like this!?
The story arc was AMAZING. Lana is now free from her kryptonite, but now hundreds of innocent people are infected. I love that! Odyssey is like, the new Smallville now. HA HA! All these confused meteor freaks running around, causing trouble for everybody. This is going to be very interesting.
This episode did all the right things. It set up an amazing story in episode 5 that carried over into this episode for the big touchdown. You met so many high marks here, I'm wondering what you'll do with the rest of the season! I'm gonna give this episode of perfect score. 10/10. Not because you're my brother but because this episode actually deserves that rating. The war has finally begun! I can't wait to see how all this plays out.

I read "Shock" the other night and since I'm at Uni with half an hour to kill untill my lecture starts I figured now would be a good time to review it One of the characters I loved in this episode was Amanda Waller. My gosh, she just oozes evil in every scene she appears in. You write her character fantastically and even though she is the villain I can't wait to see more of her in upcoming episodes XD Cynthia is still rather 'bleh' for me. Don't care for her much at the moment and by the end of the episode I just wanted to slap her for being so easily manipulated. Okay, maybe I'm being a bit harsh as it was a well executed plan to get to Cynthia on Wallers part but still... I liked the main storyline of this episode, with the chips and the metahumans forced to do things that don't want. I thought that was a great scene between Lana and Hawkins when she found out that there was nothing she could do but he was happy to just be out of checkmates grasp. I liked Quentin's character in this episode too. I don't know why but he's just a very appealing character that you can't help but like. I think it's nice when you can have your readers become really involved with the characters, whether it be because they really like them or really hate them. It makes them all that more realistic in our minds. Wrapping up my review I'm going to give this episode a 7.5/10. I don't think that episode was so much bad, more that I just preferred the pilot episode a little more than this one. Anyway, good job with this episode, looking forward to reading the others when I get the chance

Wow! Thanks so much. It's amazing how this episode has somewhat changed your opinion of Cynthia. I know many people don't find her to be a likable character but when the show comes back in September, she's have a huge change in her character. Haha! Thanks. It's great that you mentioned that, because that's exactly what I was trying to do. I was worried for a while because the cast was so very separated but I'm glad it worked well They've formed their own little team and the remaining episodes of the season will focus on the cities new threats, it's citizens, along with Checkmate, there's always something evil brewing over there. I can't tell you much, but I can tell you that we'll see some Quentin/Lana love growth by the end of season one. If I get picked up for a 2nd season, it'll grow even more but weather or not they decide to do anything about...well, you're just gonna have to wait and see She'll definitely become more mature. She's out of Checkmate and she's trying to focus all her energy on proving to Lana and Quentin that she can be trusted again. Wow, thanks a LOT Jack for that amazing review and awesome rating! I appreciate is soo much!

Thanks J.T! xD When I began the season, I wasn't that sure how people would feel about Jake. After the fallout with Amanda, he realizes that he has nobody else left in his life. He's got nobody to turn to besides Lana and the gang and that's where he stays. In the 2nd half of the season, we'll be seeing him become a part of the team and I've got plans for season two (if i get picked up) that takes a much darker turn for his character.
WHAT!?!?! Did you actually just say that? I'm shocked. I think you hated Cynthia the most and to hear you say that she wasn't THAT bad in this episode is soo surprising! Her character will be more likable before this season is done and over, I promise you that. She's gone through a lot in the first half and she'll go through even more in the 2nd.
If you like Quentin/Lana, then I think you're going to like a certain episode of season one called "Possession". Well, you may love it, but then you may hate it LMFAO Depends on how you look at the situation they're in. Which I'm not telling you right now. hehe
Something we didn't really get to see on Smallville with Pete...we never saw him actually becoming a part of the team as a hero. His journey toward that title will be very interesting if you're a fan of Pete.
haha! I'm sorry but I just had to. lmao We don't know if it's actually Lex or not. I did not specific if the hands belonged to a man or a woman so...think about that. lol
Thanks a lot Jason. Cant wait to hear what you think of the rest of the season and I can't wait to see how you deal with writing "Lantern" this season. I know it's gonna be amazing, probably one of the best episodes this season xD

Thanks for taking the time out XD She's a fun character to write for, I'll tell ya that. And I think she's the most favorited character on the show for many people that read it, even though she's a villain. LMAO I think the problem is, she's not that mature for her age. She's still very childish and when she's surrounded by these grown up characters, she seems out of place which makes her annoying or irritating. LOL But don't worry, stick with her for a little bit longer and you should see some changes in her character. Thanks. I'm glad my characters come across that way, it's very hard to do. You being a writer, you know that already. lol Thanks for the reviewing and rating. I enjoyed the pilot script a tad more as well. But I glad episode 2 was still somewhat readable Can't wait to see what you think of the rest of the season.

Yes! Pete becomes a more active part of team Lana in this episode and I think he'll be in every episode this next half of the season.
Amanda really showed Cynthia her true colors, and from this point on, she's gonna try her best to get out of Checkmate
Thanks! The green lanterns will be back in episode 8 this season. Hopefully, they'll have an even bigger role if Trinity is renewed for season 2.
***************
Thanks so much for the review and rating xD So glad you enjoyed it!
The war has begun, and Lana has a team now, minus one. Cynthia will be back soon. She's just gotta prove to Lana that she can be trusted again.
Thanks. Trinity, as well as Watchtower will be airing along side one another in September. The date hasn't been released yet. Should be soon though.

Okay I just read Suicide and man you are awesome. You know just how to keep the episode interesting. I haven't read a boring moment yet and that's awesome. Yet again I'm amazed and this series is really pushing me to get to reading the many other series here! How you handle Amanda Waller is just incredible as everything she does and say is just head on. I'm so happy that Pete was worked into this episode and i'm very interested in seeing what's in his future. I was scared for him a moment there in the end!
You have me hook with Quentin's plot and I so will keep reading to see just what happened with his fiancee. I have to admit I like Cynthia even though she's the traitor in the group. I have a feeling she would start to develop feeling for Quentin which could cause trouble for Lana/Quentin is there is that pairing! You're great.
The overall story and introduction to the Suicide Squad was interesting and Chesire was quite the character to work in. I love how you made her a metahuman and I LOVE Jake. He reminds me of early Spike from Buffy a little. I'm interesting in seeing how he develops and what will happen with Cynthia! I hope we see more of her abilities in the future, I totally love this series and this episode. I rate it a good 10/10. I cannot see anything wrong with. Awesome dude! Keep up the good work!

XD I'm so glad you enjoy the show so much! Oh, you should DEFINITELY read VPN's others shows. Watchtower is just as good, if not BETTER than Trinity! If you like drama shows, you should check out Watchdogs, it's so very unique. Just about everything is pretty cool here. I know Lana is the main gal but, I myself love writing Quentin's plot in my episodes. I think you'll enjoy what I have in store Wow! I think you're the first person to say you actually "like" Cynthia's character this early on! I'm so shocked! HA HA! Thanks. The Suicide Squad will definitely be back this season and throughout the entire series for that matter. I think they've got a lot to offer. Jake is an interesting character to write for, especially during episode 5 and onwards where he becomes more involved in the overall storyline. Looking forward to what you think about that when you get to reading it. Cynthia is grow as a character this season. She hasn't really grown into her powers yet but we'll see much more later down the line. Thank you so much for reviewing and giving me that awesome rating!

Okay, so I'm REALLY excited that Trinity has returned! I couldn't wait to get the chance to review the series' return. So, lets get this review stared I'll start with the plot. There have been reports of some really horrible murders, and the team knows who committed the crimes. So the whole episode is about finding him and helping him to control his new powers. It was an interesting story. Judging by the title of this episode, it could have probably been a little more "chaotic", But still, it was a hell of a great way to open the series back up. I think I liked everyone in this episode. Lana and Quentins plot was great. They're like Trinity's version of early Chloe and Clark, going off on investigations together. It was just too cute and I cannot wait until they finally get together. The two have had a MAJOR connection since the series began and I'm glad that after all that's happened in only half a season, that connection is still intact. Jake & Pete are really cool. I'm glad you found a way to add them to the episode and have them talking and getting to know each other better. Also, it let us learn more about them both as characters instead of just "sidekicks". I'm really starting to like Pete. Jake on the other hand is really scaring me. I don't know if this "asshole" thing is going to last long. Judging by the revelation at the end, I don't think so but, I'm hoping he becomes more likable overall. and QUICK. Surprisingly, Cynthia is still impressing me. I'm really beginning to like her a lot more. Maybe her getting away from Lana and the others is a GREAT thing. Something her character really needed in order to grow. Love the way you've introduced this "League focused on Justice", through her. Perfect set up, and we got to see STEEL! Very interesting, the way you went about that. Amanda, yet again, is amazing. Though she wasn't all evil and bad throughout the entire episode, we saw a softer, more vulnerable side to her. But, never was she weak and that really shows what kind of person she is. Always able to stand her ground and that is EXACTLY why we all love her so much. The introduction of the White King was eerie. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him. Finding out who's behind that little mask of his. Also, Sasha is great in this episode. Please, bring her back! What surprised me is...you didn't end the episode on a cliff hanger. I was like "WHAT??" A normal ending for once? Did Chris REALLY write this episode? HAHA. I think it was a smart choice for the series return. Gives us some time to relax instead of always being on edge. Though, I'm still super excited for the next episode. My episode, of course. Hehe. Which will be ending on a major cliff hanger. Just thought i'd throw that spoiler out there The episode overall was fantastic. I'll give it a 9/10 because I did like the finale a bit better. But still, GREAT way to bring it back.

Yes, it could have been more relevant with the title. I understand what you mean Thanks So glad. Two weeks from now, we'll finally get to open up on that Quana relationship. I think they're roles flip flop a lot. One minute, Quentin's all over Lana, wanting to be with her. The next, it's Lana that wants him, and he's too busy with something else. But, I'm sure you fans will be happy sooner or later. Trust, they will never lose that connection. Jake and Pete are really fun to write. I play to focus a lot on their growing friendship as the series continues and I hope that it will benefit both characters even more Jake is just...confused? He still doesn't remember some things and like he said, he has a "darkness" inside of him. It won't go away easy but, he'll be working on it. I'm so glad you're starting like Cynthia. That was my plan and I'm glad it's working, for you anyway. And, that's correct. She just needs to get away. So that when she does come back to them, she'll be ready to face her fear...forgiveness. I think Amanda is just awesome on her own. There's nothing I can do to change that. haha It's gonna be a fun ride. This isn't the last you'll see of her, trust me. Yeah, I wanted to switch it up on yall. haha nah, it's just I didn't think this particular episode called for one. It just worked out that way when I was planning. Thanks for reviewing J.T. Can't WAY to review your episode next week!

IMPORTANT NEWS For a while, I've been having problems with my computer and now I've lost the episodes I had already written for Trinity but I'm not letting that stop me. I'm in the process of rewriting, which is going to be really tough but If I work extra hard, I may be able to post several episodes of Trinity on the same day so I can catch up with the schedule. I have a week out of school so I'll try my best to get those episodes written up again.
If everything goes well, then episodes 8 - 10 should be posted by NEXT MONDAY. If not, then the following Monday.

Review of "Lantern."The Teaser was pretty interesting. I loved the introduction of Jade, the Green Lantern in the episode. The action you wrote, of those thugs, was very well scripted. And the scene before that, about our 'heroes' taking the night off, was really fun. That transition of "let someone else deal with it for tonight" then cutting to the GL doing the dirty work was great as well! And SCREW LANA for thinking Chloe and Pete would end up together. Burn! LOL Hahaha. Totally kidding. Maybe ... The first act really gets into the story of it all - them learning about this Green Lantern, and investigating, which eventually leads to spotting her. I'm a huge fan of the witty dialogue, especially in that last scene - - I think you know which part I'm talking about specifically (with Pete and Jake's comments!) - - and the act ends on a high. I can just picture that drum roll beats they usually do to end an act on TV. Haha. The plot's really thickening. Oh, and I'm a huge fan of that Quentin/Lana - Breakfast Scene. I really enjoy how the enemy seems to be the good guys here. Jade's backstory of running away and seeing how the world needs her help now - - all their help - - its really intriguing and pulls me in. That scene with Jade/Jake (suprisingly put together would be Jake hehe) is very well written; like a bonding moment that just clicks on page. Really find myself liking this character, actually. Jake, that is. A lot of the times I find people can't stop to develop a character without damaging the plot and making it seem disjointed - but that scene where its very satisfying for the character, well, I think its placed really well, and fits with the story. So that's another great thing about this act (episode). Hank is another great, well developing character. Act three really does him justice as well. Speaking of "Justice" I loved that story about heroism he told us, and how it relates to Metropolis. I think that was a nice callback to the universe that started this show. Really great reference. Awww. Discussion on Clark/Lana. I personally feel the writers shouldn't have delved back into that relationship in season seven when they knew they were going to attempt Clark and Lois The problem was, the conflict between the characters then was, and Lana even said it, Clark didn't think they were meant to be anymore. And that stuck with them through the whole season. I love when you reference the past, and Lana's relationship with Clark. ;D Not a whole lot happens in this act, but its still moving the story along, whilst taking a stop to focus on character(s). ALAN SCOTT? *passes out* Brilliant!! That is all. Just, brilliant! Oooh I love the opening scene. That does make me question why Jake's still around - Checkmate does have a rule, and they're a huge organization. If he's alive, maybe Amanda still is pulling the strings, he just may not know it. That was a great line. Really made me wonder ... Jade is a BAMF! Da-aaaamn. The rest of the episode went along smoothly. I hope its not the last we'll see of Jade - and I really hope Jake and her can meet up again. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the subplots, especially that of which involved Cynthia and Hank, which was completely separated from the main story, but, that transition at the end made it seem so connected. I loved that story. And what a cliffhanger. Hope she's alright. Overall, a fantastic episode with amazing character development, and full of twists and turns I didn't expect. Left wanting more of Jade, and like I said, I hope there's some Jade/Jake stuff coming up in future episodes. Great work, amazing script! 10/10 ~ Fantastic story, filled with great character development, and interesting twists. Great read!
