For the final Member of the Month competition for the year of 2012, I want to get away from the whole "VPN-related/writing/graphic" focus that we've been having for a while, and branch off into new territory.
That being said, all of us watch television. Correct me if I'm wrong. And all of us have gotten attached to characters and the talented actors and actresses that portray them. And what's one of the funnest things about developing a show!? Casting, of course! And whether we realize it or not, there is a lot more that goes into casting than one might think. With that, you're next challenge will be;
Recast an existing show! For this round you will be asked to pick any television series and recast actors who appear as series regulars. Keep in mind the personality of the character(s) you will be recasting, and the objective is to create a second cast that would potentially be as good of, or even a better fit than the original cast.
Rules (More like things to keep in mind)
- Stay true to the original character and actor. Like you're doing a remake.
- Pictures of the old and new actor may help, but they're not needed.
- Do your research. Try not to go with the first actor that comes to mind, because there's probably an even better choice out there.
- Please enter, and have fun!
You will be judged on:
- Originality of cast
- How your new ensemble shapes up to the original.
