I LOVED IT! xD I've always been really iffy about reading it, because I'm not an Emma/Scott fan and I used to hate Emma Frost with a burning passion. But, Monica has changed my mind on quite a few things and while I still don't prefer Emma/Scott, I can get passed it enough to finally read the series. XD So far, it's looking good. I like it. |

I have already said this to you in person, BUT. Scott got his balls back when Emma became his true love. Astonishing was one of my favorite X-Men series, aside from Uncanny. But that is a given, if you are an X-Men fan, you loved Uncanny. However, first issue when they are all walking through that room with their new suits on, and Cyclops says: "We will have to Astonish them." So freaking epic. All thanks to Emma's awesome.

Jean and Scott are my favourite X-Men. Them and Nightcrawler, and its the perfect trio, I think! I love Jean because she's so powerful and I love what she can do. I haven't read enough comics, or at least, any X-Men comics recently to remember her character that much, but I know I love her! Scott has always been the leader, and he's just pretty downright cool, IMHO. And with Nightcrawler, I got obsessed with him from X-Men II, did some research on him and loved him even more. I grew up (well, I'm not grown up now, but I've grown up to my age now...) watching the classic X-Men cartoons, and those were always so awesome. Gambit, Rogue, Nightcrawler ... all awesome characters in the old cartoons. But primarily, Jean, Scott and Nightcrawler are my favourite characters, which is why I'm also really excited about this show!
I'm rambling ... Hahaha. But yes, those are the three main X-Men I can't wait to see on this series! Its going to be so fun to see how you bring them in and what you're take on their characters are! xD

It's so funny, cause Jean is my least favorite character of all (Which isn't totally true, I hate Sue Storm more than anything) , totally no offense or disrespect meant by it, cause TRUST ME, I know how many people hate Emma. XD But in the role-play Aimee and all of us are in, I PLAY Jean. It's a conundrum really. BUT! I assure you, you will not be disappointed. And if you are... well....... >.> AIMEE DID IT! NOT ME!

I love Emma too! There are very few characters in the X-Men that I dislike. I'm not a huge fan of Logan ("Wolverine") simply because I think he is one of the most overrated characters from the comics. He wasn't that interesting of a character in the movies, and I don't understand why they threw him at the focus of all the X-Men movies if they were just going to branch off and give him his own movie series. But yeah, I think Wolverine is my least favourite X-Man. |

I LOVE Astonishing X-men! Probably because of Joss Whedon's hand in it he is seriously awesome. I am glad you are reading it now Aimee! All the characters are wonderful and they freaking bring Piotr back from the dead and there is lots of awesome Kiotr-ness.
And Jack way to make me so nervous by saying Nightcrawler is one of your favorites...now I have to be perfect XD.

I'm glad to know that Jean and Scott are two of your favorite X-Men XD They're two of mine as well. I like Nightcrawler, too, but I'm start to like Emma more. -glares at Monica- Anyways XD Scott and Jean have ALWAYS been two of my favorite X-Men EVER.

Huge Shadowcat. X-23, Wolverine and Emma Frost fan here. Yeah their my top 4. Can't decide between them. Their all awesome, even if Wolverine can be a little overrated. I mean, there are only a couple of X-Men characters that I don't like and none of them are in your cast, so I'm really gonna love this series.
Really looking forward to seeing Kitty Pryde. She is one of the few reasons I can actually watch X-Men 3. Really excited.

I wiggle between being a Wolverine fan and not being a Wolverine fan. He is overrated, I agree, but I still think he's a total bad ass. The only times I hate him are when he's an ass to Scott and when he's trying to steal Jean/when he's WITH Jean. I....hate....Logan/Jean. -twitches-

I'm with you there. His whole relationship with Jean really irks me. It's a huge issue in both the movies and the comics. Hate it. But he's still a badass. Only wish they gave other characters a bit more screen time in the movies.
