Finally found the time to sit down and read the pilot episode 'second chances'. It was a well balanced story, although I have to admit it feels kinda weird to be rooting for 2 convicted killers . The episode is called 'second chances' but Adam and, especially Lily seem to be falling back into their old habits pretty quickly. Hopefully, as the show continues, we'll see some redemption for the 2 of them.

I actually love the idea of people rooting for two convicted murderers, because it just really begs a lot of questions of why we enjoy reading/watching fiction with such things in them, and I'm totally obsessed with it. I think Lily and Adam falling back into their old habits are really just a sign of human nature. It is only the pilot, so I didn't really go in expecting them to be completely changed people, especially since they've been in prison for a couple of years. But as the series progresses, things will definitely begin to change.

When I first read the synopsis for this series called REALITY, I imagined it to be much more… serious . It certainly deals with serious issues like murder, political schemes and the sorts. Yet the show seems to be handling those things in an unexpected fun way. Which makes kind of sense since our two protagonists are convicted killers. Who in their right minds would root for murderers?! Having read the second episode 'Peaceful Execution', it reminded me of such nineties shows like Hercules or Cleopatra 2525. The stories are entertaining -but don’t take it all too seriously. I like the growing dynamic between Lily and Adam. The latter at least has some redeeming qualities. Maybe some of it will eventually rub off on Lilly. I was immediately sold on the character of detective Xander Robertson. Wish he’d join the team on their little quest. Would be a logical choice in my opinion. The two things that bothered me a bit were: a) Neil’s storyline: a high profile official who hasn’t seen his daughter in years; why would he care about her? b) George’s quick rise to power as a Council member; how much time passed between episode 1 and 2? I guess suspension of disbelief is in order here Otherwise: another entertaining entry. Thumbs up!

When I first read the synopsis for this series called REALITY, I imagined it to be much more… serious . Thank you so much for reading and leaving your thoughts This is probably the darkest idea I've taken on. I think there are a lot of underlying things that are quite demented and disturbing. especially how Adam and Lily's minds work. I do try and create these episodes and dimensions with a theme in mind, and I also try and weave throughout fun, adventure moments because that is what this show is at its core. I'm glad you're liking my take on it! I haven't seen either of those shows, but I appreciate the compliment! I don't like 100% brooding stories, or at least I don't like that many, so I think throwing in humor, etc. really allows for a nice balance in the series. I really love writing this dynamic. I'm a fan of duos/trios because there can be such contrast among them, and I think that's the case with Adam and Lily. Adam really does try and change with what he does while also realizing the state he's in, but Lily will just flat out do anything she can to achieve this freedom. The way she thinks is tackled in the next episode "Always Watching". Awesome! He's got a cool little subplot in 1.03 There's definitely a reasoning behind this. On surface though, I think Neil always believed his daughter to be safe, and when he did find out about her in this scandal, a parental motive sort of kicked in. But more on that in future episodes. I remember writing a line for Emilia or someone at the end of the episode where they explain that time in dimensions vary. It might have gotten accidentally cut in edits. But anyway, for example, one day in Adam and Lily's dimension could be 4 weeks in another. It's a very complex idea that I look forward to diving into further down the line. Thanks for the read! I'm so happy you've enjoyed the first two episodes

"Second Chances" (Pilot) Review So, I finally managed to sit down and read the first episode of 'Reality.' This show has such an interesting concept, and is something that I could definitely picture on TV, and I think it's the concept that really carries it through and through. The two main characters being criminals doesn't really add a complex mindset of "these protagonists could be antagonists," because - at least in my eyes - you understand that they're both incredibly human. One is quite unapologetic, to put it in the nicest of ways, and the other seems to have some level of a moral compass, and a 'conscious' that allows them to be more redeeming as a character. Together, it's a nice contrast and a clash of mindsets, I guess, that really enhance every situation and scene they're in. And, overall - for me - it doesn't feel so much like looking at these two characters and going, "I'm watching for redemption because they deserve it," but you're just invested in this concept, and invested in this fight for their own freedom and how tempting it must be for them, that you kind of want to see it through. So I think a show like 'Reality' definitely plays around with that whole protagonists/antagonists thing, in the same sense that I'm sure stuff like the Suicide Squad movie will be doing, but it's not so much about those roles as it is disregarding those roles and showcasing two really, really, really, really flawed people. First up, reviewing the first episodes of shows are really difficult cause it takes a while to cling to characters and be able to leave extensive reviews on my end, but I'm going to try. I think once Adam and Lily came into collision with each other, and they were sent off for their first mission, the show just hit that sweet spot where I didn't really want the adventure to end. I'm so excited for this series because of the endless possibilities, and because you have the opportunity to create whole new worlds each episode, and deliver something quite unique to theVPN and to my reading collection that I haven't read before which is really awesome. *round of applause* I loved going to the 28th dimension (66th parallel) and meeting Savannah, and the entire damn back story of one of the prisoners coming through and being referred to as the 'Light Man,' and how he kind of took over. It was honestly such a brilliant way to sort of kick off the first adventure, and to really give us insight into the kinds of things that can happen on this show, travelling to these other dimensions. I can't find the right word to describe it, but it just enhanced things so I'm-a leave it at that and hope it makes sense. The President also had a really nice role in this first episode. It would feel wrong to leave him out. At first, I was a little confused at why there was a two-year time jump if they were just testing it out now, but then you come into it, and he's talking about how they've been to these other places, how they've discovered all these dimensions, how they've sort of mastered this new technology, and so there was a real strong purpose behind it all that I enjoyed. For the most part, he just adds some more real-world vibes to the show, and I hope we do get to see them cut back and forth between the adventures Adam and Lily have, to Hugh dealing with the repercussions of this technology, to how the media responds, to maybe even the politics behind it all. I think the twist at the end with learning that someone sabotaged the traveller makes for interesting drama, and I look forward to seeing how they go about finding out who did it, and I just find myself as equally interested in Hugh, and what's happening in his world, as I am with what's happening in Adam and Lily's multiple yet-to-be-explored worlds. Savannah, I was really excited for and so shocked at what happened. But the reason why it was so brilliant to have Lily kill her at the end was because, as the audience for this, I thought Savannah was going to join them somehow and help them in their quest. As the audience, I was in Adam's shoes of having grown attached, and so it was a really nice twist to include that wasn't just for 'shock factor' but grounded in the justifications of a character who we've slowly got to learn more and more about which is Lily. So props to you for that, and I am going to fear for any supporting character Lily and Adam come into contact with on these adventures because daaaamn. Lily can be cray. I think the only real negative I had for this pilot was the amount of timing issues, and how things didn't really flow as nicely as I wanted them to going in. For example, showing us the 'origins' I guess of Adam and Lily sort of made it incredibly hard to buy their "murdering" scene. That sounds confusing - and I know it probably doesn't make any sense - but in terms of Adam, he talks about how he was frustrated and all of that, but then the murder isn't really done as a 'heat of the moment,' thing. He manages to knock them out and tie them up and torture them, and then kill them. I think, realistically, I would have no problem with seeing the origins to start us off, but because of how fast things moved from getting the motivation, to doing the crime, to getting arrested, to the two year jump, to being in prison, and getting sucked into this world... even in 70+ pages, it was really rushed for me. And lastly, the final act, ACT SIX, didn't feel very necessary. While it was a nice reveal to show that 'The Traveller' was sabotaged, I feel like you could have honestly just thrown that into ACT FIVE, and left Adam and Lily's story at her shooting Savannah, purely because it feels like the hook that gets you to come back for more. It was that whole, "aha, you didn't see that coming," moment mixed in with a coming together of not just the characters but the story, whereas ACT SIX was kind of like a, "hey, nevermind about that whole killing thing, I can see you care about me," and then a randomly inserted romantic subplot that felt like it could have been saved for later. I think seeing this as a duo, as Adam and Lily being the two main characters, instead of one over the other, kind of hindered the structural components of it because I feel things might have flowed better if we had focused on Adam or Lily, and follow them until they get to prison and meet the other during this whole dimension travelling aspect of the show. But again, I feel like this is just the editor in me coming out and it isn't going to be helpful. So, other than these things creating pacing issues, I still enjoyed getting to see the origins, and getting to see A to B to C. God, this is such a mess. I'm sorry, haha. Overall, a pretty good way to launch a new, original series. I'm definitely 110% invested. I think the concept is just brilliant, the conflict that comes out of two contrasting characters is brilliant, and I don't know what else there is to say other than the word 'brilliant,' so I might leave the review here. Well done, man. You should be really proud of this one, as you should with all your shows, but it's like... you've created another one to sit up there in the greats with all your others

This was such a nice thing to see so thank you so much for leaving a review! I've extremely fascinated with incredibly flawed characters being put into the protagonist role and allowing the audience to root for them, feel sorry for them, etc. Dexter and the Suicide Squad, like you mentioned, and Chris' Gangland just literally make my mind spin in so many ways. I'm just very, very into it, and I wanted to craft these characters that we follow who have done these horrible things to wind up in a horrible situation that we somehow see as entertaining and fun. I geek out over it haha. I think something I really tried and will continue to try to do is really pull apart Adam and Lily's mindset to see how they think and why they act the way they do. That's required some research, but like I said it's really fascinating to me. I'm so glad you enjoyed the adventure aspect. I love coming up with different ides for dimensions and such, and I think this show is really going to rooted in adventure storylines with overall thematic value, or at least as much as I can shove into them. Coming up with unique aspects (66th parallel, light man) is also just so much fun to do, and I'm over the moon that you connected with it and loved it. Hope you find that word soon though I think throughout the series Hugh will always have the B plot. He's always going to have something going on, and it's going to be contrasted to the craziness that Adam and Lily are dealing with. In the next two episodes he and Veronica will really be struggling with how to hide this information now that someone else (the saboteur) knows about it. Going further, there will definitely be a focus on the media aspect of this; in fact, there's a subplot regarding the media-ish in the next episode. Susannah was a really interesting character to come up with. I loved writing her determination, much like that of Adam and Lily, to stop Robert. I'm glad you liked the ending. Yes, it was supposed to be very shocking and really showcase how different Adam and Lily view certain situations. And don't worry, Lily won't be killing every person they meet, HAHA! That's fair. I know that's always something I look to try and improve upon. In the original pilot, the beginning started right with Emilia telling Hugh about dimension traveling, and upon various rewriters the actual scene of Adam and Lily committing their crimes were added. It was very much a prologue to the entirety of the series, but I do hope the pacing of the episodes do improve. Again, that's a fair point. I definitely see where you're coming from, too. I think, like Act One being a prologue, this was very much an epilogue. I really wanted to capitalize on several things that Adam and Lily have been without for two years and the conversations that they really needed to have if they were going to be working together for an indefinite amount of time, and those things just seemed to fit the best in an act six. The other two released episodes only go to act five, so hopefully this problem doesn't arise with those. Thanks again SO MUCH, Jack! I always love reading your thoughts on my work, and I'm so happy you enjoyed this as much as you did. I hope you enjoy the next two episodes just as much if not more

I'm always so careful with keeping things accurate, but more times than not, the one thing I'm like "nah, I'm sure it's right," is always wrong. I wish calling Susannah 'Savannah' throughout the entire review could be up there in the most embarrassing things I've done on theVPN, but unfortunately, it's just borderline, 'classic jack' at this point, haha. Anyway, looking forward to the rest of the season. I'm really loving Adam Addison and Lily Lulu.

1.03 Always Watching
Definitely the best episode so far! I feel like this series is really finding its own beat. So much to like here: - seeing growth in the relationship between Lily and Adam - the president sinking deeper and deeper into his own swamp of lies (rightfully so ) - learning more about Adam’s and Lily’s youth and fears (makes us better understand who they are now) - inspector Robertson: more please! - another cool dimension to explore - all (sub)plots flow nicely, never a dull moment I do have one advice for Adam or Lily though: please ask for a pair of google glasses with an app for facial recognition or something . Looking forward to the rest of the season 1! Now back to reading Audition S3...

1.03 Always Watching
Definitely the best episode so far! I feel like this series is really finding its own beat. Aw, awesome! I was really nervous about this episode only because it took so long to write/plan, and I had to air it late because I was struggling to find time to finish it up. I'm so glad to hear you thought it was the best one yet tho! These two have a really complicated relationship, and I really think they're starting to grow on one another. I'm glad you're enjoying their development, because I do want to take time and try and dissect all the layers to both their characters and the relationship they share. Yeah, this is going to be a big issue for Hugh moving forward. His relationship with Veronica is really straining, so now he has to figure out what to do about this scandal because keeping quiet about it doesn't seem to be doing him any good. We'll also see what Veronica will try and do to help him. I loved writing the fear scenes. Probably my favorite part of the episode to write. I was really able to dive into how Adam and Lily perceive themselves and the world through their fears. And writing Lily's childhood also allowed me to flesh out her character and show that she's always sort of been this way. Definitely more of Xander coming! Coming up with the dimensions is so fun, and I really wanted to try and do something that relates to our world today, so government control seemed like the way to go! Awesome to hear! Hopefully this continues in the future Oh man, wouldn't that solve a lot of problems? Lol, but that would make everything too easy! Thanks so much for letting me know your thoughts on these three episodes! It's been a long time coming, and I don't know when the next few will be out, but it's great to know that there's support behind the show. I'm so happy you've enjoyed it, and I hope you enjoy Audition too!

"Peaceful Execution" Review
"New dimension. New mission. Prepare." - Emilia
So, I can't believe it's taken me this long to read the second episode. Everything about this episode was genuinely perfect from start to finish, and the way you balance the two worlds -- the one explored by Adam and Lily and the one explored in the very realistic setting of the white house -- continues to impress me. I think the best way to discuss the episode is to break it up into those two streams of story and thought, so here we go:
► 19th Dimension on the 12th Parallel
First up, I really loved the flashback opening. It created a level of normalcy to guide us into the episode but also showed us more Adam's past that kind of adds more layers and makes the character and his world more 3Dimensional. It was a nice touch to the developing relationship between Adam and Lily as well as it shows us that they're opening up to each other and connecting in a way that seems fitting for their situation.
Travelling to this new dimension, I thought it was such a brilliant idea to have Adam and Lily brought in as murder suspects. While some could argue that they would have gone after this criminal without that needed boost from the Council, it allowed you to introduce the audience to this all white, all peaceful world in a way that was more natural than layers and layers of exposition. You showed us this world, and I appreciated it. The way you established it by the repetition of "white" only further narrowed in on the bizarre dimension they entered, and felt like a really creative enhancement to this idea of peace, and purity in using the colour white. And by bringing in their politics and this council and this trial that soon led to Adam and Lily having a limited time to catch the real killer, there was a constant building pressure and suspense that enhanced the reading experience and added to a really great flow -- especially by ACT FOUR -- that never suffered from jumping back to the White House storylines.
Two of the strongest aspects of this storyline was the character of Anastasia and the massive plot twist that George was the killer. I think you do a really great job in making the audience grow fond of and/or get attached to a character you've only just met and when you dissect their presence in an episode it's rather small compared to everything else going on. The fact that you can make me care about Anastasia and be interested in her story is just a testament to you as a writer. It was shocking when she killed George, and to see that switch go off in her and to see her address the Council beyond that point was fascinating to me. It feels like this peaceful world has almost been tainted and if Adam and Lily came back in a year or so their politics and tactics and strategies of running a peaceful nation would be so different and it kind of resolved in a way that was more fulfilling because of the realisation that this is a game-changing moment in that world, and that even though Adam and Lily will be leaving it, it continues parallel to wherever they're headed. And that way of thinking can only be brought about by how well you established this world, so well done!
► Drama at the White House
There's something so interesting about a saboteur at the white house, and the idea that someone is working to expose the truth from the inside. The fact that only so many people know about what happened and yet they're kind of all being cancelled out makes it even more interesting. It feels like whoever is revealed to be writing "the public deserve to know the truth" throughout the building is going to be someone I'll never guess in a million years and I'm excited to see how that plays out.
First off, Olivia Dashner's introduction in this episode hooked me from the beginning. I think it was such a powerful scene on the news broadcast and exploring the families left behind is something that excites me. To see how her introduction impacts Neil, the father of Lily, and draws these two together by episode's end was very satisfying. The alliance is something I'm looking forward to see play out in the coming episodes, and I just love how you have a duo on Earth attached to the duo travelling dimensions. It's an interesting parallel, for lack of a better word.
Emilia is my absolute favourite character. The dialogue for her is always so memorable and brings the character to life in a really powerful way. I look forward to any time she surfaces in the episode and starts talking. She has a very distinct humour that bleeds through in this one, and I particular enjoyed her interactions with Adam and Lily.
Lastly, Xander being brought in to investigate the identity of the person leaving these markings behind is another development that makes me very excited to see what happens next. I mean, he's almost bound to unearth something he shouldn't and get himself caught in the crossfire of something more at play here. Gah! I'm so ready to see what happens!
► Me, in my Room, Writing the Review
Overall, I thought this was a really strong and well-thought out episode and potentially a favourite in terms of VS scripts I've read. As I've said, the way you balance the A and B stories -- which even putting them like that is weird because they're no equal playing field -- is so impressive to me. The developing dynamic between Adam and Lily felt very natural. Lily, Olivia and Emilia are hands down the most enjoyable characters to read on the page. The way you establish the dimensions Adam and Lily explore are commendable. And I just can't say enough great things about this episode. Loved it!

"Peaceful Execution" Review
"New dimension. New mission. Prepare." - Emilia So, I can't believe it's taken me this long to read the second episode. Everything about this episode was genuinely perfect from start to finish, and the way you balance the two worlds -- the one explored by Adam and Lily and the one explored in the very realistic setting of the white house -- continues to impress me. I think the best way to discuss the episode is to break it up into those two streams of story and thought, so here we go: First, thank you so much for this review, Jack! I love hearing your thoughts on the different genres of projects I have going. This show is probably the most difficult one I've ever written, because I have to put a lot of research into it to allow that sense of realism to come into play. I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed this one. One of my main goals with each of these episodes is to definitely find that balance between the dimension and what is happening back in the present, so I'm glad it worked out I would say that this episode touched upon Adam's backstory (not as much as a future episode), and the next one will have a major focus on Lily. But with this ep, I really wanted to hone back in on the feelings Adam felt for, and shared with, Taylor. You can expected weaving flashbacks in probably most of the episodes, not only from Adam and Lily, but from the others as well. Adam and Lily are definitely getting used to being forced to work with one another, and hopefully there's a nice natural progression that continues in the next episode. Coming up with the new dimension ideas, and how Lily and Adam are going to get involved in them is probably the most fun part of planning each episode. I really like to have a thematic message that ties into each episode, and with this one I tried to touch upon tradition and the consequences that stem from blindly following it without question, the roles of women in "peaceful" societies, and how those societies deal with outside forcers. Hopefully all of those either came across fully or subliminally. White was also a major symbol of the episode, so I'm glad you managed to pick up on that. That was my main worry in the writing process. Again, awesome to hear that the balance flowed nicely I love being able to shock with who the criminal of the dimension is. I can't say there will be a massive plot twist with who is who in each episode, but I thought it fit the 'murder mystery' aspect of this episode. I loved writing Anastasia in this episode. She was the main focal point of the women in societies that I touched on before. I really wanted her to start out in a passive nature to her fellow Counselors, but end the episode in a much powerful place. I think Anastasia killing George showed her that she can be powerful, not necessarily with a gun in her hand, but also that she can make touch decisions for the betterment of her people. I don't know, I really liked playing with that idea, so hopefully it came across the way I intended it to. I do know who the saboteur is. Hopefully when it revealed, you will be quite shocked, haha! Hugh will definitely have a struggle in the next episode with keeping the Traveler information confidential, and that contrast he has with Veronica will be examined a lot more as well. I loved writing Olivia! She's extremely determined and confident. She's somewhat in the next episode (you'll know what I mean when you get to it), but I really wanted her to make a large impact. Her and Neil's partnership will, obviously, only grow from here. YAY! I think Emilia is a perfect side character for this type of series. She's definitely a character who genuinely wants to help for the greater good. I think that's why she became a scientist—she wanted to help the world. I'm trying to not blend her into the trope of hacker/computer whiz sidekick like a lot of characters can fall into. She has her own little side story with Xander in the next episode, so hopefully you enjoy that. Next ep That's such a high compliment, thank you so much! I would like to say that the next episode is even better than this one, but I don't want to jinx myself, haha! There's a lot stronger focus on Lily's background in the next episode, as well as some looks at her relationship with Adam, and Veronica's relationship with Hugh. Next ep is all about duos, haha! Thanks again so much for this review, Jack! Can't wait to see what you think of 'Always Watching'

1x01: Second Chances |review|
Finally, I have read Reality. Not like I said I would for six months and be fake and stuff like that. (Shade myself wow okay lets get the review). This was quite possibly your best work yet! The Idea is so original and unlike anything I could have thought of, so I applaud you on that. The other thing I am going to applaud you on is the characterization. Each character has their own personality that makes me want to know about them. Lily if quite possibly my favorite character in this show by far. Even though she is very problematic IE burning an entire family alive, but we all aren't perfect, right? I also love how you took the time in the beginning of the show to really bring us into Adam and Lily's lives. Like showing how they got into this whole mess was a great idea. And it's also cool because we got to see what lengths they would go too. We see that Adam, having practically tortured two people, regrets his choice, and has PTSD from it. So, there is a chance of humanity there for him. As for Lily, I don't see any. She seems like the girl who has gone through so much and has just turned the switch off and I love that. I wonder if we'll see a more human side of her going forward with the show.
While Adam and Lily are going to be a great adventure to see. I'm mostly excited for the Inter-dimensional travel! I love shows like that where each week, or new episode it's a new location with fresh characters and this episode delivered a tease of that with Sandy Gulch. It really makes you think "What other dimensions are out there?!" "What are we going to see?!" "Is there a world where everything is perfect and utopia?!" like that's fun, but the real premise of the show is these two criminals tracking down other criminals and I think that will be fun to see. There was one thing that irked at me a bit was, killing Susannah. I mean, like while it was VERY shocking to see that dark side of Lily in leaving no loose ends, I just don't think is was really needed to kill her. I mean, what are the odds they could come across her again. But it was interesting to see that Lily has no humanity and will just kill someone. So, I'm 50/50 on it. But while it was long, it was a very well done pilot and that was really the only thing I had wrong with it, I'm looking forward to reading the next episode. It's a very well thought out series, and I think this will be your best work yet. Great job buddy!

This was quite possibly your best work yet! The Idea is so original and unlike anything I could have thought of, so I applaud you on that. Thanks so much for reading, Brian! I love hearing new thoughts on my projects, especially this pilot because it's something I'm truly proud of, so I'm glad you enjoyed it I really tried to make a show based on characters that were incredibly ambiguous and problematic, because it really interests me with how we can begin to relate to things we couldn't possibly see ourselves as. I decided to flesh the backstories out more in the second draft of the pilot, because I thought it added the element of roundness of the characters of Adam and Lily, who are both sociopathic murderers haha. It's quite clear early on that Adam is guilty for what he's done, but Lily is not, and that's a major theme of the show moving forward with this forced partnership. I love coming up with all of the different dimensions. I've come up with so many to choose from, so hopefully the remaining ones for the season are as enjoyable as, if not more, than this one. I think it's really important to try and put a scope on this new dimensions, especially since I only have 1 episodes to bring everyone into this world and make it a believable, functioning society. I have to disagree on the killing of Susannah. It wasn't for a shock value, whereas it was to show that thought-process and psyche of how Lily operates. She understands that this is strictly business and is only doing this to gain her freedom. She also knows she has to rely on Adam to stay alive, so her first instinct when she believes she sees him losing track of their mission is to kill. So, not really for shock or to show her dark side, but to examine her mind more and further her relationship with Adam. Thanks again, Brian! Glad you enjoyed it. I'm really proud of all of the episodes, so I hope you enjoy them when you get a chance to read them!

Hey guys, newbie here. You can call me Martin if you'd like. So I've just finished reading episode 3 and my god, I wish this was a real show. It was well written and I adore the Alcatraz-meets-Sliders premise, Lily and Adam make for a great couple and I've really started to root for them despite them being murder-hobos. I'll maybe get around to writing a more in-depth review of each episode but for now all I've got to say is that I want this to continue. I want to know who did the thing to the traveler, I want to know if Lily and Adam will become better people, Adam does seem to regret the actions that led him to jail and if the last episode was an indicator Lily is on her path to doing the same.
My only real gripe with the show is that the universes Adam and Lily visit are very unoriginal, a Wild West world, a pacifist "utopia" world and a 1984 clone world, I'm pretty sure Sliders did all of those. But this is another reason why I want more of this show, so I can see all the crazy out-there universes you can think of.

Welcome to the forum! I love that you took the time to sit down and read this crazy show. I have so much fun writing and plotting it, and it really allows my creative juices to flow in ways I hadn't thought of. I've never seen Sliders, so any comparisons to thought are completely unintentional, as I have tried to make this show incredibly unique and fresh in terms of following these characters and their interactions in various dimensions and worlds. I'm glad you're left with all these questions, because that's exactly what I wanted to happen! I think you might have inspired me to turn some attention to this series for a while All I can say is that I've tried to take concepts and universes that have been visited before and spin them in a way that was my own (ie. "The Light Man," a serial killer in a pacifist world, and a homage/parallel between 1984 and Lily's past). Like I've said, I've never seen Sliders so I'm completely unaware of what that show has done in terms of different worlds and plot points. Hopefully the dimensions in the future come across as more creative, because I would like to say I've got some pretty good ones up my sleeve!

If you haven't seen Sliders it's a great show (for the first two seasons after that it's... ugh.), it's also about dimensional travel and if it's on Netflix where you live you should check it out, it might be inspirational. If you need a staff writer to get the season done faster I'm more than willing to pen an episode or two for you. I was planning on writing my own series about parallel Earths and pitching it to VPN (I'm about a quarter done with writing the 2-hour pilot) but since your show is a thing I figured I'd give you a hand instead.
