How do you do quick shots. Like if different scenes or images flash on the screen that may be in different locations. Do you do 'Scene Headings' and 'Action shots' for each image explaining what you're seeing? Or do you just do a list of images or shots that you're seeing.
I'm hoping this is clear - If not I can clarify.

I believe I've seen some scripts that have "A SERIES OF QUICK SHOTS" or "FLASH BETWEEN" and then they list each one below. For example:
A SERIES OF QUICK SHOTS or FLASH BETWEEN
- A woman runs past. - A fire erupts. - Buildings begin to shake.
I am by no means positive if these are correct, but I have seen these in some form or fashion.

I'm hoping this is clear - If not I can clarify. I'm prefacing this by saying I'm no expert, and that we're all in the same boat here, haha, but do you mean in the sense that it would be a montage of quick shots, or one quick shot that cuts away from the scene for a second? You mention plural, so I'll just go with that- I've read that you can do it like this: MONTAGE: A) SCENE HEADER - action B) HOUSE, ROOM - DAY -- Jack types away on his laptop. I've also seen, instead of "A" and "B" and onwards, just writing "-" even without the scene header. It just depends. I mean, I think it is along the lines of a montage, or sequence of scenes, and if you google that with screenwriting, there might be better answers. But these are definitely ones I employ when doing quick shots. EDIT: What Brady said also works. I don't think there's a set way, and "A SERIES OF QUICK FLASHES" works just as well as "MONTAGE" in getting the point across. It just needs to differentiate and be clear in the in the script, I think
