First of all I'm so freaking happy about Moira and Gabe coming back. I love Moira to death and I want to see more of her relationship with Chloe. The question is how will she comes back? The last time we saw her on Smallville she was in a catatonic state somehow... As for Gabe I'm still disappointed that we ahven't heard from him since season 3 so I'm happy.Yeah more Bruce during next episode. I can't wait to see how he and Chloe will act around each other after their "kiss" and if Oliver will learn the thruth about it.Of course I can't end my speech without saying that I want more Chlollie. LOL I'm doing as much research as possible, trying to grasp their character's for the episode, but the main plot, and how they are here in Gotham with Chloe will be explained, and is already jotted down on paper. Being the penultimate episode, it leads into the finale, so things will be very exciting in that episode! Having just finished writing "Awakened", there is a great scene between Chloe and Bruce on the kiss that happened, and Oliver will be let in on it later in the season. And of course, Chlollie will continue to grow deeper.

She is a character from the Batman comics, who, if following the storyline from the "Bruce Wayne: Murderer?" storyline, is the victim. - One character will be locked behind bars, and isn't shown being released by episode's end. - Jean Loring, portrayed by recurring guest star Emily Deschanel, will feed Gotham Daily information about her opposing defense, Harvey Dent, at an attempt to distract him from the case.

Extract from VSGuide:
Luckily for us, in this week's VSGuide exclusive, we were able to chat up Allison Mack, about Watchtower's return, and some juicy storylines that will be reaching the surface in the second half of the season!
Now that the city knows about Watchtower, what kind of problems with Chloe, and possibly her team mates, face?
"The implications of revealing Watchtower will definately be shown in the first episode back," the actress revealed, "and once Chloe realises how much attention its brought in, and especially with Perry wanting to uncover that mystery, Chloe is forced to make another decision regarding Watchtower, to protect her identity, and her new life in Gotham."
Oliver is known for going on downward spirals after such tragic events. Is this the case for his character, with Chloe missing in action?
The actress laughed, responding with: "He really does tend to put on his depression cap, and go brood for a while, doesn't he?" Mack went on to say that Oliver will be aching for her to return, and when John [special guest star Phil Morris] shows up, he'll be brought out of his depression. "Obviously Chloe won't be missing for the rest of the season, and when they're reunited, its a nice moment. I love working with Justin."
And what about the sidekicks? We last saw Helena hang up her cape, so to speak, with Mia left alone in Watchtower, what will we be seeing of them when the show returns?
"They've got a lot coming up for their characters, a lot of tragic, scary stuff," the actress teased, "I know that Elise is only going to be with us for this season, and the producers have a great story for her departure towards the end of the season, and with Helena, you'll definately be seeing a more human side to her. Less Huntress, more Helena."
Now, onto the villain of the story. I think what everyone wants to know is: when will Chloe kick his a$$? No, seriously, with Chloe having such knowledge of the future, does this affect Emil's views on his projects?
"Thats exactly what will be happening." Allison Mack told VSGuide that Emil Hamilton will reach a turning point, but as for what exactly triggers it, she didn't say, but we believe it has something to do with what Chloe saw in the mid-season finale. "Her powers aren't temporary, in terms of them being there one second and gone the next, but ... yeah, you'll have to wait and see what happens with that one."
Speaking of the "villain" of the story, we hear that Two-Face will be making an appearance this year.
"Oh my god, yes! We're actually shooting that episode now, its a lot of fun. Very different," the actress shared, "he's such a layered character, with many elements, and he's one of those nice guys on a dark path, that we all know can't end well for the guy." The actress continued, telling VSGuide that Two-Face will be quite a threat for the Watchtower crew, and really ups the challenge for them.
Almost done! *laughs* The fans really seem to be worried about the Chloe and Oliver relationship, because of a little caped crusader known as Batman. Well, Bruce Wayne. Will he get in the way of our two lovebirds?
"I think the fans will be very proud of Chloe in the returning episode, in how she handles everything, and the two [chloe and bruce] have a very mature conversation, where Chloe basically tells him that the two of them can't happen," Mack revealed, "But it doesn't stop there for Bruce."
Will Oliver learn that he layed a move on his girl?
The actress laughed. "There's a good story coming up that deals with that, but I think, again, its handled very maturely. Oliver and Bruce are sort of the Helena and Chloe, in a more twisted way," the actress said, "I think the fans will like how it all plays out."
And finally, we've gotten confirmation that Chloe's parents will be paying a visit in the penultimate. How does all that play out?
"I haven't really heard all of it yet, but I do know it really pushes the show into its finale, which will air a few weeks after because of its feature length entitlement," Mack answered, "I do know that there'll be a lot of surprises concerning Moira and Gabe, and Emil will definately be a huge part of it all. It should be a lot of fun." |
The show is set to return in September, hopefully this will carry you out until some previews and promos surface, and have a nice August. Oh, and please tune in for the final season of Smallville! And check Trinity's spoiler and speculation page for more updates on Watchtower's sister show. The two will be crossing over to wrap up their first seasons.

Sorry for the lack of spoilers, been really busy writing these next few episodes. A lot of research and stuff has kept me away from this "spoilers" thread, so I'll post a few more up now. -In "Trial" one character from the main cast will be locked behind bars, and is said to be staying there for quite some time. In fact, they'll still be in prison in episode ten when Zoe Lawton shows up on a hunt for Emil. -Oliver will learn about Bruce kissing his girl in "Archer" when the two are forced in a deadly game by DC Comics Villain of the same name, who wants them to prove themselves worthy of such fortune. -There's a scene in the returning episode "Awakened" where we'll learn if Emil is willing to move towards the future Chloe saw, or if he'll change it. An excerpt from VSGuide about a possible [hopefully going to happen] second season: Its official. The second season has been pitched to the network, awaiting a renewal: news that should be arriving in about two months. Eliza Dushku has signed on to play the feline fatalle, Catwoman, and her more-public persona, Selina Kyle, will be working alongside Chloe Sullivan at Gotham Daily.
"Still waiting for some feedback from the network, good or bad, but we're excited with what we've got so far, and can't wait to air the remaining episodes of the first season."
When asked about what to expect, shall a second season come to life on the VPN, producers promised: "The show really dives into Bruce's first year as Batman, with Chloe at the forefront of the story. And although we don't want to say too much in case we don't get the opportunity to continue this series, we have a lot of stuff planned for Chloe's relationship with Oliver; taking things to the next level and challenging them and their love for each other." |

Here's another extract from the latest edition of VSGuide:
So the show is returning on the 20th September. What are the fans to expect when it returns?
"There'll be some new problems surfacing in the returning episode, that play out until the end of the season, with some already ongoing plots continuing," the network teased, "we're excited about what we've seen and heard so far about the show, with its second half of the season, and think the fans will really enjoy what it has to offer."
It was said before the show even began that there'd be a triangle between Chloe, Oliver and Bruce. When will this begin to take shape?
"Hasn't it already started?" joked actor, Christian Bale. "No, but, seriously, that triangle sort of picks up in the first episode back, and is explored in the remaining half of the season. I'm not sure how long for, because I'm being told they're bringing in Catwoman next season and apparently in the comics, they've got a thing going on, so I don't know. At the moment, its less of an angsty triangle, more of a humorous one - in terms of when all three characters are involved."
The season finale is going to take us to the future. What exactly can the fans expect from their character's future incarnations?
"We're really going all out with this crossover finale," executive producer, Chris Davis revealed, "and we've got a lot of stuff planned. You'll see all the characters from the cast in the feature lengthed episode, and there'll be a lot of tragedy, death, emotionally gripping stuff weaved through it all."
Spoilers indicate that Chloe will become the next Dr. Fate in the final season of Smallville. Is the show prepared to create some sort of explanation, if the producers of Smallville go down that route?
"There's a three month time gap between the tenth season of Smallville, and Watchtower," creator Jack Malone explained, "and whatever the producers do that doesn't allign with the show, we can tweek because of that." Malone went on to say that he doubts the producers will take that route, and believes its a red herring for the fans, but is prepared nontheless. "I can say that Doctor Fate's helmet is in the finale, but its not Chloe who is wielding its power."
Speaking of Smallville, what would you like to see happen with the character of Chloe Sullivan - to wrap up her character for the show, and to mirror the events in your show?
"Well, unlike Watchtower, I would like to see the Clark and Chloe friendship repaired. I think its highly important for those two to see that they're both needed in each other's lives," Jack Malone answered, "and if anything, I'd love for Chloe to get back into reporting. If it relocates her, especially to Gotham, that would be even better. But I really don't want to see her story get wrapped up, as much as I'd like to see her presence in the final season."
Last of all, the parents are said to be returning in the penultimate episode. Will we learn about why Gabe has been gone from Chloe's life for so long?
"I don't know yet, sorry. I've spent most of my planning time, on that episode, with Moira's side of things, that I haven't really mapped out an explanation for Gabe's absense," Malone admitted, "however, I do know that Gabe will be wanting to be a part of Chloe's life now, and that he will be in more episodes than this one." |
