So, Season Two is a GO!
They are going to be replacing Andy Whitfield and casting another actor to play Spartacus. Andy was AMAZING in his role, but unfortunately, due to his health, he is unable to play it anymore. Hopefully the new actor the producers choose will fill his place well.
Here's to another EPIC season of Spartacus: Blood and Sand.

this is a very daring show. i love that about it. It's exciting and shocking! You never know who's gonna die and absolutely no body, expect maybe spartacus, is safe from death! Thats what i love about it. I was so sad to hear about Andy being sick, and then replaced. But, the show must go on. i cant wait for Blood & Sand to come back, cause gods of the arena is almost over and that's been just as good as Blood and Sand.

Looking forward to the premiere of Spartacus: Vengeance. Eager to see how Liam McIntyre fits into the role of "Spartacus." Oh yeah.

Got the chance to watch Spartacus: Vengeance, 2x01 "Fugitivus," today. I must say, I was pretty impressed. Everything seems BIGGER. There's this new, epic scale to the show, and I really loved that. Everything from the acting, cinematography, writing, was just amazing. Really enjoyed the premiere. I'm going to miss Andy Whitfield, like everyone else, but I think Liam did a great job. I wasn't expecting a complete replica of Andy's Spartacus, cause that's quite impossible, but he actually did a lot better than I had imagined. So, I'm looking forward to the rest of the season

I just hope Lucretia isn't really insane and she's faking it or something... I reeeaally want to see a scene where she totally goes "You left me to die, you little bitch" to Illythia. Anyway, the season premiere was pretty good. Liam did, as Chris said above, a much better job than I expected. But, mostly, I'm watching for Lucretia.

The best part about Spartacus: Vengeance, has to be the storyline between Lucretia and Illythia. Those two are something else, and I'm seriously waiting for Lucretia to reveal that she's the one in control. I'm not accepting that she's become Illythia's b*tch. lmao.
The character of Mira is really starting to grow on me as well. I thought she was just a useless tramp in Blood and Sand, but I'm loving her growth here. Plus, she's pretty bad ass. Overall, the show is looking good.

Gannicus returns in the next episode! I cannot wait. Oenomaus is going to be pissed off now that he knows of the dirt that went down between him and his wife.

I haven't watched the latest episode... I have no idea why. Every time I'm about to head off and watch it... I just don't. Is there something wrong with me, Chris?

There must be because the latest episode is the BEST episode to date! Well.... at least this season. I love it so much because of the Lucretia/Illythia drama-rama.

^ The previous statement has been taken back. Episode 5 of "Vengeance," was one of the best episodes of the entire series. Yes, that means Gods of the Arena and Blood and Sand included. The whole thing was just epic, in more than one way. We finally know for sure that Lucretia is plotting against everyone, Team Spartacus did something rather epic, to say the least, and the show just keeps on getting better and better. Gannicus is back, and it looks like he'll be tagging alongside the band of rebels. Really, if so, they've got Spartacus, Crixus, Oenomaus, and Gannicus. Who the hell is going to beat those four... really, tell me. lmao!
Really looking forward to the next episode. The new Spartacus is really starting to come into the role more, and I'm impressed by him more and more.

Okay, so the latest episode was a bit crazy. I know, this show is always insane, but I think after the epic showdown that was EP.5, the follow up was done very well, and it didn't feel lacking, which is great! I really hate Ashur. I mean, he can be a dick to anyone and everyone he wants... but don't ever touch Lucretia. She's off f-cking limits to you! LOL In other news, Glaber is a BAMF. I know, I hate that guy. He's been a little irritating wanker the entire series, but Illythia's betrayal really did a number on him. I know he's being played in the long run, but he's finally decided to grow a pair, which makes him very interesting More of that, please. Good episode.

Okay, thanks for Amin, I think it's time for another rewatch of this show. Definitely one of my all time favorites. So many great characters who of course end up dying but it's worth it. haha

So, I finished this series about a month or two ago, and... I completely loved it. From the characters, to the plot, to the massive amounts of blood and gore, this series was truly something special. I was enthralled with every moment of it, and if you're thinking about giving this a go, you definitely need to My top 5 favorite characters were Mira, Spartacus, Lucretia, Gannicus, and Oenomaus. But I pretty much loved everyone! *muffled sobbing*

We pretty much have the same favorites, just add Agron and Naevia to the list for me. But really, there were so many great characters on that show, it's hard to pick only a few favorites.
