New Layout: Love it? Hate it?

Love the new layout! I think it looks really cool, the top banner especially. The circle effects look great.

I also love the sidebar listing the staff members. Using pics of characters from each show is a great idea.

All in all I really like this new layout. My only concern would be the yellow. It's just very different and takes some getting used to.

I really like the colour scheme and new the parts in the side bar. And while I like the banner, it seems a little squished and stretched. Eliza for example seems like she's too long. And the dude in the circle looks really squished. You get me?

Not keen on the new staff icons but I think that's cause I liked the old scheme.

I feel the same way about the staff icons. I really loved the old scheme. But I really love the colours of this one and the banner, so I like it haha.

Do you get what I mean about the banner? I'm not sure if it's just my computer as sometimes the resolution messes with some images. Or something complicated like that haha

Yeah I've been getting mixed feelings about icons in the staff section. More people have told me they dislike the idea so I may just end up changing that section back to the original. Yeah, I see what you mean about Eliza. Now that I look closer, I can see that her face and neck are way to long compared to the others. lol I should probably fix that.

If your seeing it to then maybe it isn't just me. But as I said, it could just be my computer, it doesn't look as bad on my netbook.

I Love the new layout! I think it's really cool, all the colour and in particular i like the banner. the only think i don't like much is the circle effects for staff and show runner....

Didn't know where else to put this suggestion, but have you thought of putting a c-box on the sidebar somewhere? It'd be a nice way for members to chat easily with each other while on the site

I have thought about adding a chat box to the site, either in the sidebar, or at the bottom of the forum. Aside from the "Chat" section installed by Proboards, members are pretty much on their own if they want to chat. So, we'll think it over

I think the network also could use another website, separate from the forum Could make it a lot easier for people to read episodes. A lot more organized too.

I think this is a good point, although I wonder if creating a separate site would lead to less traffic in the forums.

Maybe a separate site that is updated weekly with (1) general news and updates (2) links to the episodes for the week only, (3) a video showcasing your current lineup as a preview of what you have to offer, and (4) general show descriptions and staff bios.

Setting up a new site for the sole purpose of "airing" new episodes could increase traffic for the forums. The new episodes can still be posted on the forum as they have been but rotating with the week's new showings only would give the site purpose.

In general, I like the new logo/banner and color scheme, as it is both cool and not hard on my eyes.

Until you have a VS for the sci-fi category, you may want to remove it so it doesn't look like something is missing.

You could always consider moving one of the action shows into sci-fi section, as your current action line-up does involve meta-humans, mutants, cloning, supercomputers, etc.

It would fill in the gap without requiring a new show and none of the series would need to change their format as sci-fi shows often involve some action in them (Stargate SG-1 comes to mind).

I love it! I like the staff bios at the top and the colors. The only thing I really miss is the banner at the top including all the shows.

It's quite the change XD It'll take me a few to get used to it, but I think it can grow on me. I'm really liking the color scheme though. I miss the banner at the top too, but I can see why it was taken off. XD It probably wouldn't have looked all that great with this particular layout, so no matter if I miss it or not, I'm glad you took it all with this layout.

A new banner will be added soon. Just in the process of making it Hopefully it will liven the top section up a bit, cause it's a bit plain right now.
