my greatest fear?? ok let's see....I'm afraid of heights,of loneliness and Illness, but most of all I'm afraid of loosing someone that i love... i think Oliver and Chloe's biggest fear would be losing one another, or having something bad happen to the other.. or maybe for Oliver as for Bruce it's something related to their loss, to their family... Chloe as well can be afraid of losing control of her life, of her emotions...... this episode sounds very interesting

So, Watchtower is returning this month, you excited? Question: Where would you like to see these characters be taken this year? Any relationships you want to see begin? Who would you like to see back? Discuss.

Well i would like to see these characters taken to the brink. Taken to the darkest they can get. The relationships i want to see are: Chloe/Ollie, Bruce/Selina, Bruce/Chloe (For like a second), Helena/Guido (Father/Daughter relationship)

I agree with Karl. I love seeing characters being driven to their breaking point. It is hard to bring a character back after pushing them down so far, but it's always very interesting to do and a great way for people to really get inside the head of the character.
I wonder if Bruce will take up the title "Batman" this year. If or whenever it happens, it'll be awesome!
Definitely looking forward to Chlollie. After "Fortune", I've found myself loving them even more than I already did!
Selina is going to be my favorite this season! 1. I've always loved the character, since I was first introduced to her. 2. I have an excuse to picture Eliza Dushku in a cat suit. HOLY SHIT!
Haha - Season 2 should ROCK!

JUST IN: RETURN DATE PUSHED BACK!
The Network, and producers of the VPN series 'Watchtower' have decided to push the show's return back for another month, looking at a May release in hopes of continuing to sport their "Trinity/Watchtower: Back to Back" night. The network released this at a press conference:
After much consideration, we've decided to hold back the return of Watchtower, awaiting a May release. However, the season premiere "Identity" will be aired April 4th, as slated, with the following episodes continuing May 16.
What can we look forward to until then? On May 13, the series finale of Smallville will air on the CW, featuring none other than Allison Mack, who reprises her role of Chloe Sullivan one last time on the hit series.
"Its funny how things turn out. Last year, the show was moved back until after Smallville's finale, and the same happened again this year," Malone told VPtoday. "Production on the first four episodes is finished, but we needed more time to film the remaining three. The push-back has given us the time we need, and more, to complete production on the first half of the season."
Tune in Monday Night, April 4th for an early release of the season's premiere "Identity," with the following episodes continuing May 16. And don't forget to tune in for Smallville's SERIES finale, May 13, which features the return of Chloe Sullivan.

I loved "Identity"! Probably the best season opener I've read/seen in a while. It all feels so opening, introducing all these new elements, yet carries on the events of last season. Can't comment much on Selina Kyle at the moment, she's a little annoying in this episode but I have a feeling once she slips onto the Catwoman-road I'll grow to like her much, much more. And the ending scene was pretty surprising, I wasn't quite expecting that so early!
It's a 10/10, for sure.

With this premiere, I sort of wanted to capture elements from the pilot, with things sort of feeling 'new' whilst moving the story along and introducing new storylines. With Selina Kyle, I think she'll be like Helena - in the sense that when Helena was introduced, no one seemed to like her, but then by the next episode, she was seen differently. But I don't think it'll be as quick with Selina, because she is sort of a rival for Chloe. But yeah, once the layers are peeled back and her true character starts to come to the surface, I think you might not find her annoying. I personally love writing Selina. She's one of my favourites this season. Thanks again for the review, and for taking the time to have it up so quickly. I really appreciate the feedback.

REVIEW OF 2x01 - IdentityNow THAT was a season premiere! First off, I want to tell you how much I loved this episode. From start to finish, it had me glued to the screen and when it all ended I was both fuming with excitement, as well as disappointment from it being over! Cannot wait for new episodes! On to the episode, you started off with Bruce in Japan, finishing his training and coming back home to Gotham. Great way to start the episode! XD I can't wait to see just how Bruce has changed and how his journey toward becoming the dark knight he was destined to be will come about. It's definitely something I'm looking forward to, especially after the final scene of this episode!! I love your introduction of Selina! I feel like Chloe and Selina are total opposites, and I'm looking forward to see them really work side by side as partners! It should be interesting and pretty damn funny to read their interactions! By the way, I can already tell you that I love Selina. You write her very well Bruce and Chloe were great in this episode. She's so happy to see him. Awwww. That hug was just awesome. I really liked Emil & Oliver in this episode. Really cool that you're bringing him back into the fold and I'm hoping Chloe is able to trust him one day. If he is truly genuine, if not that -- uh oh. We've got some mess on our hands But either way, looking forward to seeing where you take this story with this new thing coming. I really liked Chloe, which I know, isn't unusual! hehe. She has sort of lost her inner hero. She's doubting herself, which is normal. Identity is the *PERFECT* title for this episode, not only because Chloe is having an identity crisis, but also Bruce and Helena (who I hope to see more of in the coming episodes) One of the reasons I love Chloe so much... she's human. She has off days but she always seems to pick herself back up, sooner or later. Looking forward to seeing her progress this season. Something else I loved, was the antagonist of the episode, Rick. His past with Selina, from her days of crime and theft (I'm guessing) is very interesting. I wonder how Chloe and the others will react after finding out about her past and GOD I hope you revisit this subject later in the season! (Her past, I mean) She's just such an intriguing character, I want to know every single detail about her! Now now now...let's talk about that ending. That MEGA-ULTRA-EPIC ending! Bruce, going down to the Bat Cave and we actually see the symbol!! I'm liking, shaking right now. This season is going to be something else and I can't wait for more. This premiere episode was perfect. I really can't say anything negative about the episode so I give it a 10/10 - A!

Wow, thanks Chris! I love getting feedback from you, because the scripts you turn in for Trinity are amazing, and constantly inspire me to do better. Bruce has a long journey ahead of him. He's got the right idea, the training, and the equipment to become the Dark Knight, but the next step to getting there, and understanding how he is going to do this, is something that will be seen in the next episode, "Knight." The way its tied into how he chooses the name, and all of that, is really shown in the next episode. So I can't wait for that to air. I loved writing Selina Kyle. I'm glad you enjoyed her. She's definately the opposite of Chloe, and much more laid back. Hahaha. Writing Chloe and Bruce scenes are so fun. They've just got a beautiful friendship, and they both care about each other a great deal. Writing their "welcome back" scene ... it was a lot of fun. I'm glad you enjoyed it too! XD Emil definately is a mystery this season. He'll be in 5 episodes this year, and there's still that level of "is he evil/is he good" that I think is quite interesting. At the moment, we know he's a clone. And he'll be back for "Fear" before you really start to see where he'll be taken. I'm really happy about his storyline this season - I think you'll see a lot of the old Emil back in his character that has been lost for quite some time. I really wanted to capture elements of the pilot. In the pilot, Chloe was very much struggling with her identity, and who she wanted to be. She wasn't exactly sure of herself, and I think putting her back in that place was necessary. The first season came around very full circle, with Chloe's character - It was fun writing that last scene. The "Welcome back, Ms. Sullivan." Watchtower is where she belongs, its who she is at this point in her life. Her journey this season is one to watch closely. Bruce's role this season has increased. As he steps into this new role, it will seem like he's the leading male of the show - but with the theme of identity, its crucial we focus on his character as he steps into this vigilante role. As for Helena, her story starts to pick up in the next few episodes. She's connected, in a way, to what's coming. But having her start a normal life, she has been disconnected from the other characters. Despite her small presence in the premiere, it really does show you where she's heading: she's starting a normal life, she lives with her Dad, she has a family. Its going to be an interesting journey for both characters this year. Yay I love Chloe! Haha. I think her story this year is really bulky - she's taken in a lot of different directions, some scary and foreign, others more at home, and more usual for her. It also intertwines with the big Chloe and Oliver story which we didn't get much of in the premiere -- that'll kickstart very soon. Rick was one of those "un-planned" characters. He was originally just connected to Selina's past, but then when I came up with the idea of connecting Bruce and Selina through tragedy, I decided he could be the person responsible for the death of Bruce's parents. And Selina's past will be explored. Some are subtle hints, others dig deeper into her backstory. It will play out all season. I'm sooooo glad!! Thanks for the awesome review, Chris! Writing the end-scene with Bruce and the batcave, it was a new experience. I didn't know whether or not to call it "batcave" as it seems so cartoony, but it still works, IMO. I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the review!!

Alright Jack...I read Idenity and let me tell you....I LOVED IT All the characters had great storylines i was really impressed with this premiere. The one thing that irked me the most was that Helena wasnt in this episode much. And people have disregarded Mia all together. I mean she was there one minute and gone the next. Another thing i like is how you left the computer with the ability to greet Chloe when she enters WT My other favorite thing was the batcave scene at the end . I am totally siked that he becomes batman But now onto what i thought of each individual character: Chloe: Our leading lady. She has been through the most. I have to say the way you wrote her in this episode, I pretty much liked it. I honestly believe she had the right to be angry and try to have a normal life, but at the same time...everyones arguements were impressive I pretty much love her scenes with Selena. They seriously make the episode that much more enjoyable. Her and Ollie are totally destined to be together forever. I cant wait for the shit to hit the fan when she finds out about Emil and Ollie knew about it. Her message to Helena at the end made me happy that the two are reconnecting. Oliver: Our leading Guy. Im kinda miffed with him right now. His convo with Helena was alright. But his convo with Emil and knowing that he is alive and he is keeping it from Chloe is one of the things that kind of makes me mad. I mean sure Chloe has kept secrets before but nothing that can pretty much ruin other peoples lives. Olivers reasons seem just but i hope Chloe throws the book at him. Helena: The Lost Soul. She wasnt in the episode much but i loved her scenes. Her talk with Ollie was good. I was hoping she would have talked to Chloe instead of Ollie but whatevs. Chloe left her a message at the end. I hope that message was very good Emil: The "good" Clone of Emil. I was happy that we got the good one back. Meanwhile...the intel he has better help. But of course i like how he went to Ollie first. I just hope that him helping the group doesnt come back to bite the others in the ass Selena: The Sultry Vixen.I am pretty much in LOVE with this character . I like her attitude in this episode. Her and Chloe's dynamic is pretty much what i love. Im glad that the two have come to a better term with eachother. Her attraction to Bruce is a great nod to the comics. I like that you put the two of them trying to get into eachothers pants.hahaha. The real drama im waiting for is when Chloe catches her flirting with Ollie. That will pretty much make my day. And im a little curious as to who her sister was, and what Selena was up too pre-Gotham daily. Bruce: Billionaire PlayBoy with Hidden Depths.I only have a couple things to say. Like...OMFG. The ending scene with Burce made me so excited for the next episode . Another thing i enjoyed about this episode was his convo with Chloe. I like how he tries to convince her to come back to the good fight. And im glad he found out who killed his family...it makes his choice for Justice alot better . Perry: He had a short role inspiring Chloe. I liked his speech to her. It remided me of the times that Chloe did that to Clark after she found out his secret adn he didnt know she knew All right now time for the questions: 1. Will we find out where Emil got his intel on this "War" that is coming? 2. Will Selena meet the others (Ex. Ollie, Helena) 3. I know a certain someone is appearing in the next episode...will Chloe find out there identity in that episode or later? 4. Will Chloe meet Guido? 5. How come you had Ollie be Emil's secret keeper? 6. Will Helena become Huntress again? 7. Will Selena find out about WT as well? 8. When will Bruce and Selena get together? Or are you drawing that out? 9. Will we find out more about Selena's past in later episodes? 10. Will you also have a certain Clown appear in Gotham anytime soon? ALL IN ALL JACK I enjoyed this episode and i cant wait for the rest So you get a 10/10 A+

Alright Jack...I read Idenity and let me tell you....I LOVED IT :)All the characters had great storylines i was really impressed with this premiere. The one thing that irked me the most was that Helena wasnt in this episode much. And people have disregarded Mia all together. I mean she was there one minute and gone the next. Another thing i like is how you left the computer with the ability to greet Chloe when she enters WT. My other favorite thing was the batcave scene at the end . I am totally siked that he becomes batman Thanks for reviewing the premiere, Karl. With a 22 episode season, there's more time to explore these characters - Helena's story this season was set up in the premiere, in however little time she had. Her presence in the show builds up a lot this year, so she won't be pushed aside. As for Mia, you'll get a couple mentions in the next few episodes before she returns, that's a promise. The team haven't forgotten about her, but there are more important things going on in their lives - and she abandoned them. Chloe had reached a point in her life where she re-examined everything and realised how long she's been doing this - and of all people, she does deserve a hint of a normal life. But, at the same time, she wouldn't be herself. So I think that was her main struggle, she didn't want to lose her identity. I'm glad you liked that scene at the end with Helena There are some risks, Oliver understands that. He doesn't want to run in and tell Chloe something that could throw everything off for her, and add more stress to her life. He wants to get the full facts, and a greater understanding of Emil's return, before leaking it to Chloe. I think its a smart move on his part. He is looking out for his girl. There are some great moments in the following episode between Helena and Chloe, but ultimately, Oliver was the one trying to bring the team back together. Helena has more important things in her life now, she can't keep risking the safety of her life when there's someone in it she truly, deeply cares about. That'll be explored a lot this season. Emil is quite the mystery this season. I think you'll enjoy where he ends up. Selina's past will be explored during the course of the season. There are some little hints about what she was before she came to Gotham Daily, and some deeper insights. The Chloe/Selina dynamic is a lot of fun to write, their rivalry isn't over yet, but they have some great, fun moments between them that doesn't involve the two at each other's throats. It definately closed off his arc from season one a lot better, as he steps into his role as a vigilante. I think he now has full motivation to step up and do this. I think you'll like his storyline this season, a lot I can't wait for you to see Perry's storyline this season. Its been a lot of fun writing for him! You may not find out where he got his intel from, but you will definately learn what he knows in the coming episodes. Like I said, Emil is a mystery, and although he's seeking their trust, there are a few things about him we won't know - or we will, that he keeps from the team. Hmm ... eventually yes. Chloe won't know their identity. Yes, Chloe will meet Guido. They're both trapped in a terrible situation in "Lockdown" that brings them together. Oliver is the only character that wasn't effected by the the apocalypse last season. Chloe and Helena turned away, and Oliver was the only one who kept a straight mind, and saw the bigger picture. Emil came to him because of their "past" together (Emil worked for Oliver for several years, as established on Smallville). You will have to stay tuned all season for that one to be answered. I think everyone knows Watchtower is out there. But she won't know who Watchtower is. It all started in the premiere. The spark, at least. They'll be spending a lot of time together in the first 7 episodes of the season. Its been a lot of fun writing those two - and things move a lot quicker than I expected. Definately. Not anytime soon, no. But there's always a chance he'll show up on the series. Thanks for the review Karl! I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as you did, and I can't wait to see your thoughts on the rest of the season when the show returns May 16.
