So far so good, we've just been told to keep our doors and cars locked, and a phone handy in case we need to call 911. Report suspicious people, etc.
I had a glass of Irish Creme, but that's it as far as alcohol goes for me. I've got Mountain Dew and that's all I need XD Well, actually, I don't NEED that either. My cousin spent the night last night and we stayed up all night writing and watching Marvel movies (I saw Captain America for the first time. I didn't really pay attention, but OMG his fights scenes were epic) and we binge drank a bunch of caffeine. My stomach HATES me for it, but...it'll get over it.

Okay, I've decided that I'm really not liking this whole "Avengers vs. X-Men" thing Marvel is trying to pull. By the way they've set everything up and the pairings they're making in their "teasers", you already know who is going to win the battle. At least, by Marvel standards.
Iceman vs. Spider-Man
Magneto vs. Iron Man
Psylocke vs. Black Widow
Emma Frost vs. The Hulk (Sorry Emma, you're not winning that one)
Beast vs. Luke Cage
Storm vs. Thor
Rogue vs. Ms. Marvel (yes, AGAIN, apparently)
It's so staged. You know who is going to win each of those unless Marvel plans to throw us a curveball from what they usually do. All I hope is that the rumors are true and that the mysterious Firebird image labeled "It's Coming" is in fact Jean Grey's return AGAIN. She in all her Phoenix-y glory can whip them all in to shape and cut that bullshit out. I'm not looking forward to this event at all except for the fact that my favorite X-Chick is probably coming back from the dead for the 39849834th time. God I dread to see who they put Cyclops against. The only person I can see being able to fight against Cyclops' extremely strategical self is Captain America.

I know right?! That is seriously the ONLY battle I'm not sure about. And if Storm loses....God. The only Avengers I LIKE are Iron Man and of course Spider-Man, but I don't really see him as an Avenger. I don't like that he's an Avenger. I can't stand Captain America except for his cool badass shield. So if they DO pair Cyclops and Cap up, and Cyke loses....screw you Marvel. XD

So, all my friends are turning 21 this year which means lots of parties, including one last weekend and one this past Saturday. Just thought I'd let you know the one this past Sat was for my best friend and it was video game themed  I helped her with a heap of the decorations and it was so much fun to set up, not to mention the party itself being totally awesome! Anyway, here's photo of me next to (my favourite decoration) the door to her garage which I painted for the occasion  |
