Doctor Who is about the adventures of a mysterious time-traveller known as the Doctor. The Doctor travels through space and time in a craft known as the TARDIS, an acronym for "Time and Relative Dimension in Space". The Doctor is usually accompanied by one or more companions, who are often attractive females. The tone of the programme varies from serious to comic, from gothic horror to pantomime camp. As many people know David Tennant is leaving Doctor Who. A lot of people don't like that. So in this series the 2009 specials didn't happen (The Wedding of Sarah Jane did though). The Doctor (Tennant) arrives on Earth in 2011. There he meets Ashley Chase (Watson). He takes through time and space where they meet Graske, The Praygat, Tritovore and and two old enemies form an alliance. Main CharactersDavid Tennant as The Doctor - Now in his Tenth incarnation, the Doctor has lost so many people he cared for. Depressed, the Doctor crashes the TARDIS in London where he meets Ashley Chase. Like his predecessors, this Doctor is capable of boundless enthusiasm, though in his case often at inappropriate times. While many Doctors have intentionally flouted social conventions, the Tenth seems to be genuinely surprised when he is rude or uncouth. Charismatic and manic and with boundless energy, he retained and even exceeded his last incarnation's capacity for righteous anger Emma Watson as Ashley Chase - Originally from Manchester, Ashley witnessed her family killed in 2009 when the Earth was moved through space. She fled to London to pursue her dream of being a Fashion Designer. When she meets a depressed Doctor she immediately falls in love with him when he whisks her away through time and space. The death of her family seems to have affected Ashley greatly. The main reason she decided to travel with the Doctor is because she wants to find the alien that killed them. Recurring CharactersElisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith - Sarah Jane Smith is one of the Doctors old companions and she travelled with him during his 3rd and 4th incarnations. When he sent her back home Sarah became lonely, so the Doctor sent her K9 (mark III) a robot dog with infinite knowledge. The Doctor and Sarah Jane have met 3 times since her departure and shes even had to replace K9 with Mark IV When the Doctor encounters Zygons he gains help from a companion who helped him stop them the first time. Sarah Jane. She will reappear in the finale K9 IV as Himself - After the Doctor and Sarah Jane's reunion she gives the Doctor K9 to 'Borrow'. He gets the Doctor and Ashley out of many sticky situations. He will unfortunately bee exterminated in the finale. Juliet Landau as The Rani Paul Marc Davies as The Trickster Jimmy Vee as the Graske Episodes1. Chase - A very depressed Doctor arrives on Earth and must save Ashley Chase from the Graske who are planning to infiltrate the worlds governments and cause a galactic war. 2. Dead by Sunrise - While on a alien planet Ashley inhales a poison placed there by the Praygat. The Doctor has 12 hours to find a cure or she will die. 3. War Song - The Doctor and Ashley arrive on Trivoria where they find themselves in the middle of a war between Human and Tritovore. When the war reminds the Doctor of Messaline he gets angry and does everything in his power to stop it 4. Help from my Friends (1/2) - When the Doctor discovers a plot by the Zygons to destroy the Earth he call upon an old friend to help 5. Genocide (2/2) - The Doctor Discovers the only way to stop the Zygon is to wipe the entire race out. But could he really do it? 6. Midnight Shadows - Earth, 6013. K9 has located something matching the Doctors DNA but who could she be? Its Jenny of course. The Doctors force grown daughter 7. Keep on Running (1/2) - The Doctor and Ashley arrive on the Ood-Sphere. Someone has summoned them their and the Doctor is very sure it is not an Ood 8. Beastly (2/20 - The Doctor and Ashley must save Ood-kind from extinctions as Valkryia's plot comes full circle. 9. Alone - (Doctor-lite episode) Mickey Smith had it all in the other universe but now he can barely pay the rent. But when he keeps seeing a blue box everywhere hes determined not to give up. 10. Boe - Returning to New Earth, The Doctor decides to attend the Face of Boe's funeral. But is the mysterious alien really dead? and what message for the future does he hold this time? 11. Okay, first off, is this a continuation of the series or an alternate season? Not to clear on that.
I've never been a fan of Doctor Who, so I really don't have a clear understanding of the pitch. I think if you add some more information and update the info you already have in a little more detail, it could possibly help me understand the plot and overall storyline you're trying to sell. Overall, I think you need more information about the characters and episodes, just to give people that aren't familiar with the fandom a little more knowledge of the series. That being said, I won't say anything else about this until you flesh it out a little more.

I agree with Chris. Please sum up what the series was about, and where you want to take it. I'm not a fan of having Miley on the series, and you can't have Sarah Michelle Gellar, unfortunately. Try picking some english actors/actressess. Can't say much else about this really, as I haven't a clue of what its about...

Well unfortunately Jack and Chris are right. You cant use Sarah Michelle Gellar. Also since some people dont know what Doctor Who is (unlike me i know what it is) I think u should do a brief explanation of who and what he is. And also tell the viewers more of where he is heading. And yes more british actors/actresses

You have to get rid of Sarah Michelle Gellar. You've improved it well, but she needs to go.

I have no idea who Doctor who is either but knows a friend who love the show. Never watched it though. You can't use an actress that has been placed into production who is a main lead in another series on this network, Sarah's on another series.

True, but they weren't being broadcasted on the same network. VPN has a rule which states, "In the process of pitching a virtual series, originality must be utilized" meaning it's a requirement to stay away from actors and actresses who currently star on another VPN series. In this case, Sarah Michelle Gellar has the lead role on VPN's continuation of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Meaning she cannot be used. Sorry... If you're having trouble casting another actress for the role, I'd be willing to give you some suggestions

suggestions would be greatl. the reason i picked sarah was not for her potrayal as buffy but as the buffybot and the first those dark and comic elements are needed in the character

Okay, well if you can give me a physical description of the character herself...(Hair color, ect...) I'm sure I'd be able to come up with a few actresses who might fit the role

The first person that popped into my head was Genevieve Cortese. If you watch "Supernatural", you may know her as Ruby # 2. lol But if not, Goggle her and see how you like her. If not, I'll think of someone else

My next choice would have been Jenna Dewan. Who I personally think can portray a bad gal if she wanted to.

Okay. My very next choice was Katie Cassidy. But she's already being used in another pitch I think. Which I guess wouldn't really be going against the rules. lmao Um...other than her, I'd say: Lindsey McKeon Keira Knightley Emily Blunt Nikki Reed Sienna Miller Rosario Dawson Kate Beckinsale Rhona Mitra LOL. Hopefully, one of those actress can fit the role
