About. DAMN. TIME. You do realize that this has been what we have all been waiting for. Im starting to wonder if its not hers, considering all the changes to the future thats happened I am aware And nothing has changed. The Smallville flash-forward at the end of the finale is the future! I stupidly read that wrong.haha But yeah, Im totally excited to find out that little boy's father. The 50th episode and "Purpose" were such teases, but why do i have this sinking feeling that again, it isnt her's? I hope it is her's so Jason could be the father.hahahaha I dont want her back with Oliver. Like ever. Im officially over them being a couple. Having her go back to him, wont be good for her in the long run. I know I'm backtracking on my favorite couple of all time, but there is a really good reason and that reason exists in the episode you just released and it honestly stuck in my head that them getting back together is a pipe dream. One that Chloe, will have to move on from, for good if she really wants to have the happiness she wants. Jason and Chloe actually work as a couple and quite frankly I like it more than Chloe and Oliver My god. Im turning this into a rant. Im sorry. Im really excited about the update and I cant wait till we see what happens

I'm writing 417 "DESTINY" and it's a really big episode for the series. One of the reasons it's such a huge episode is because this is finally going to be explained: You're going to learn if Chloe is his mother (!). You're also going to learn who his father is (!!). And you're going to learn his name (!!!). And he's going to be a character that sticks around well into the final season (!!!!). I've enjoyed playing around with the idea that the future we saw at the end of 'Smallville' could be changed. 'Purpose' (Season 2) was an exploration of that idea, kind of solidifying this notion that it was the future but that it had been altered. But that was something I had to do because Chloe was going to die at the end of Season 2, and I wanted it to have more of an impact (and I also didn't like the idea of an ending already being out there to take away the surprise of weekly episodes). But Season 4 is almost over, and so now I can tease some really cool things. The truth is — and this isn't really that much of a spoiler, so I don't mind putting it out there — Season 4 will end where the Smallville flash-forward did for Chloe (with some fresh [very spoilerish] material occurring after it, of course). But you will learn about the boy (in the picture above) in 417 and I'm super excited about it. I've always loved the idea that 'Watchtower' would chronicle the journey she went on prior to that flash-forward, and when she's reflecting over the years, the first four seasons of 'Watchtower' are included in moment of reflection. Also, I promise that's not as big a spoiler as it seems. I get to add to that scene - specifically what happens after Chloe's phone call with Lois about her wedding - and so the season won't LITERALLY end with that scene. And we already knew in regards to Zatanna's warning of the future that Chloe lives to see Season 5 (which feels like a miracle at this point). Anyway, I've almost finished writing 417 and I wanted to go off about how excited I am for it and so there you go -- some spoilers! Have at it About. DAMN. TIME. You do realize that this has been what we have all been waiting for. Im starting to wonder if its not hers, considering all the changes to the future thats happened

I have a question, Will we have a episode where the original team watchtower (Chloe,Oliver,Mia, and Helena) do a mission together? Like the good old days? The only reason i didnt say Bruce is because of reasons that should be obcious for anyone who read S1 It's entirely possible. I wouldn't expect it to happen this season, purely because I don't think there's an opportunity for it and everything else is pretty locked in when it comes to the episodes and their plot. But I like bringing Mia back, and now that Oliver is back in the story, it's totally possible (even if its a flashback story). Yaaaasssss.hahaha I cant wait. Another question, why didnt you add Supergirl to the two parter back in S2?

If anyone has any questions about the next run of episodes (#10 through #15) then feel free to ask away. The mid-season premiere airs this Monday (10/04/2017) and I'd be more than happy to release some more specific spoilers based on Qs. I have a question, Will we have a episode where the original team watchtower (Chloe,Oliver,Mia, and Helena) do a mission together? Like the good old days? Exclusive: Sam Jones III Reprises 'Smallville' Role!VSGuide has learned exclusively that 'Smallville' actor Sam Jones III is set to reprise his role of Pete Ross in the upcoming 'Smallville High Reunion' episode of 'Watchtower' Season 4. Pete Ross — who last appeared in the show's milestone 50th episode that took place in an alternate reality — is set to make his first appearance in the show's current and present timeline as one of the many returning faces from the mother-series, 'Smallville.'
"We've always had an interest in bringing Pete Ross back to the show," series creator, Jack Malone told VSGuide, "I think fans who are interested in seeing what he's been up to all this time, and where he fits into the story and fits into Lana's life, specifically, are going to feel really satisfied with what happens in [episode sixteen]."
It was established in an episode of Season 3 that Pete Ross was Lana's "handler" at ARGUS. "There's so much history between these two characters and having the opportunity to flesh that out really allows us to get a greater sense of everything Lana was up to prior to [coming on the show] and offers a real sense of closure as this season winds down to a conclusion," Malone teased, excited for fans to see their interpretation of a comic book romance. "There's never been an opportunity to truly explore this dynamic [as it is in the comics] nor has there been any real development to indicate that kind of a connection," Malone continued, "But we still manage to find a way to honour those comics, and honour a dynamic that never really had the time to be seen onscreen."
Sam Jones III joins previously announced cast members from 'Smallville,' Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Annette O'Toole, and Laura Vandervoort. This reunion is fantastic. It will most likely outdo "Speedy" and "Countdown" as my favorite episodes. Also, speaking of Speedy, any chance Mia will show up before the season is over? And maybe bring a few "Titanic" friends with her?

Excalibur A Legend. An Assassin. A Teenager With Attitude. A Soldier, And a Demon are Earth-X’s last hope. Lets hope they survive the experience.
Summary: Welcome to Earth-X. Where everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. From an invasion of Swamp monsters, to fairy tales coming to life, dinosaurs going on a rampage, earthquakes, and any other dangerous scenario you can think of. Sensing that the only way to save themselves, The Alliance sanctioned Project Excalibur. The creation of an elite team that can defend the earth from all the threats that plague the planet. But unfortunately the recruits have met....unusual ends and with the success rate of the teams going in on the receiving end of failure, the Alliance realized they were running out of time and they decided to scrap the project to further other endeavors.
Not one to sit by and let a good thing die, Dr. Reese Quantum, and his plucky yet lovable assistant Orsay Daniels, decide to finally recruit a team of not just soldiers, but of people that are as equally deadly as the threats they face in order to save everyone and the planet. Stealing classified files and stealing an ancient Norse vessel called Skidblander from Area 51, the duo escape and recruit the team they needed.
They Recruit, ex-superhero Kenny Hudson, Telepathic teenager Fred Jenkins, An Assassin known only as Crow, Reese’s own son Colonel James Quantum, and Lilith, a demon from the depths of hell itself. With their new team, Dr. Quantum leads them on their first mission to stop an invasion from an alien group called the Axis, who are trying to harvest the souls of humans in order to fuel their race and revive their ancient God: THE ONE.Time’s running out, and our new heroes need to step up, or become enslaved to an alien onslaught forever that is if their own personal issues don't screw them over first
Kenny Hudson We all know the history of Kenny Hudson. Formerly the superhero Scout and current savior of his entire universe from the enslavement of the Greek and Titan Pantheon. With a final rest after all of the death and mayhem, Kenny hung up his cape once and for all, and took off into the sunset with his true love Theo Lance aka The Shroud. Now on an around the world honeymoon, the duo finally get to have the happily ever after that they wanted, but it comes to a screeching halt with Dr. Quantum coming to them asking for help. With a whole universe at stake and his happily ever after put on pause, Kenny wants to handle this threat quickly and effortlessly. But that might be easier said than done, especially with a team full of loose cannons with their own personal agendas.
Winifred “Fred” Jenkins Born with the ability to read minds, you would think it would be fun, but for poor Fred, its been a hell on earth. Once a popular cheerleader with a multitude of friends, the usual highschool stereotype, her powers manifested during her pep rally and she was hit with a multitude of voices when she asked for the voices to stop she unwittingly shut down the minds of everyone in the gymnasium. Fearful of her new powers, Fred ran to her parents for help, but all it did was lead to more problems when her parents called the S.C.U. (Supers Crimes Unit) to apprehend her. With nowhere to turn all seemed lost, until The Renegades found and protected her. They ferried her away and explained her place in the world and what having these powers mean. With the Renegades, Fred honed her abilities and became a skilled Telepath, and started developing her telekinetic abilities aswell. While out saving another Super from the S.C.U. she runs into Dr. Quantum and Kenny who ask for her help in stopping an alien invasion in another universe. Willing to help people, Fred decides to lend her abilities to the fight, although she might be out of her depth against aliens and alternate dimensions.
Crow An Assassin of Unknown origin. Known only by Crow, Dr. Quantum sent Orsay after this one. Reasons that have not been specified by either party but is questioning to everyone else. As the invasion from the Axis continues, it will be seen if anything about Crow will be revealed.
Colonel James “Jim” Quantum Growing up, Jim played the Johnny Quest to his father Dr. Quest and did all sorts of journeys around the world to study the strange problems that plagued their planet. However as he started to mature he realized that the threats to his plante needed to be dealt with before it killed them all. With that in mind, he graduated high school early and enrolled in the military and hasn't seen his father for 10 years. Now an adult and outgrown his boyhood fascination of the things destroying their world, Jim trains with other soldiers and any other candidates for the Excalibur program. But with the program yielding failing results, Jim and the rest of the recruits had to return back to their normal military clearance. Feeling like he got jipped on the action of protecting his planet, Jim got the opportunity when his superiors ask him to enact in a mission to arrest his father for treason against the Alliance and contributing to the destruction of the planet. With his secret mission in mind, he easily infiltrated his father’s group and its only a matter of time till he gets a chance to complete his mission
Lilith Born in the very bowels of hell itself, Lilith is a demon of great power and respect. As Lucifer’s first demon, she has a special bond with the fallen angel, and was gifted the ability of foresight in order to divine the future for him. Seeing his plans for ascending to the mortal realm being crushed by humans on a ship of some sort, Lilith decided she needed to investigate. As she used the demonic energy from hell, Lilith was able to create a tear in reality to Earth-X where she got embroiled in the conflict between Excalibur and The Axis. As the two sides rage against eachother, Lilith has arrived to ensure that whatever disturbance on this earth caused her masters defeat she would snuff it out regardless of the consequences.
Dr. Reese Quantum A respected Doctor turned Reluctant Leader, Reese didn't think that he would be leading a group of powered individuals into stopping an alien invasion, more over saving the planet. But when the World’s Government gave up on the Excalibur Program, Reese knew they were missing the wrong equation to get it right. Gathering his bright assistant, the duo created their team and hope to utilize it to repel the invasion of the Axis. But with an unruly son, and others who have different agendas, Reese is going to need to keep his wits about him in order to get through this crisis with himself and his team intact.
Orsay Daniels Orsay isnt your average 22 year old lab assistant. Sure she has flaws, can be a bit of a hard-ass and can out wit you in a game of texas hold em, but not only is that apart of the girl’s resume, she can also bench press a mountain and shoot photon lasers out of her hands and eyes. See young Orsay is a cyborg. The last of her kind and something of a hot commodity around certain circles. No one knows how Dr. Quantum and Orsay got together, but the two are inseparable and quite frankly a deadly pair when left alone. As Orsay helps the good doctor collect this team of misfits to defeat the Axis, she wonders what's their next move going to be once its all over and the Alliance comes after them.
The Axis A group of grey humanoid alien beings that thrive off the soul’s of living things. Seeing how they sucked their universe dry along with several others, The Axis slip through a rift and appear on Earth -X and begin kidnapping humans to harvest their souls. They have a couple of head Axis members leading their armies:
Prince Drakmar Prince to the soul harvesting race called the Axis. After his father died in a War against a foe of the family, Prince Drakmar took over and led his kingdom to victory after victory conquering worlds and dealing with anyone in his path. After destroying their universe, Prince Drakmar followed a rift in space and wound up in a new universe where he soon sucked it dry and repeated the process when he found another rift. After finally finishing off another universe, he got caught in a cosmic storm that swept him into a black hole that landed him in Earth-X’s universe. As he headed for the planet and started harvesting the human souls, Prince Drakmar thought he had found another world with pitiful resistance. Sighet As Prince Drakmar’s right hand Woman, Sighet is dangerous as she is smart. With skills to defend and protect the prince at any moment, Sighet is an asset worth having. The Monolith Prince Drakmar’s back up plan. An armored individual who wears a mask. No one has seen his face, but some are saying that the Monolith is a monster and that his strength comes from his increase in souls. Whatever his deal is, Excalibur must figure out a way to stop him in order to cripple the Axis.
Recurring Characters Theo Lance/The Shroud: Husband to Kenny Hudson and the Superhero The Shroud. After helping Kenny and the others defeat the Greek and Titan Pantheons, he and Kenny ran off into the sunset in order to have their happily ever after. But after being approached by Dr. Quantum to save Earth-X, Theo couldn't say no and dawns his cloak one last time to help out.
The Alliance The ruling government of Earth-X. Following the Cold War, the Earth’s governments formed into one whole and rebranded themselves the Alliance. As one cohesive unit, the Alliance handled all the threats that plagued the planet, but when their militaries became outclassed by the threats coming to Earth-X, they jump started the Excalibur program. For a time it worked out, but soon most if not all the recruits are killed and the project was stopped before its true potential could be reached. Fearing they are running out of options the Alliance recently started their Plan B: Project Genesis. Something that might be Earth-X’s salvation or their downfall. Although we won't know till the Axis has been dealt with. (While Project Genesis is something that will be brought up, Don't reveal it till the next Volume.)
Sequence One
Chapter One Formation With the destruction of Earth-X imminent, Dr. Resse Quantum and Orsay Daniels risk everything to protect their world. Chapter Two After recruiting Kenny and Rhys, the new group head off after their next candidate, but they hit a snag when the S.C.U (Superhero Crime Unit) comes after them Chapter Three Test Your Mettle Following a close call, Dr. Quantum leads his newly christened team on their first run against one of the Axis’ scout ship, although the first round of teamwork doesn't go as planned. Chapter Four Aint No Rest For The Wicked Still reeling from their fight with the Monolith, The team lick their wounds, but Prince Drakmar isnt through with them yet. Chapter Five Emergency Chapter Six Alliance Rules Chapter Seven Clean House Chapter Eight It’s A Trap Chapter Nine Being Orsay Chapter Ten Cabin Fever Chapter Eleven Invasion Chapter Twelve There and Back Again
A/N: Basically the reason why I didnt finish Supergirl. Why I probably wont finish Supergirl, and basically I'm more emotionally invested in finishing this. Especially considering this is the sequel to the Book I'm writing. Excalibur was the first series I came up with and it was the first series that I actually truly gave a damn about. To be quite honest, the only reason why I havent finished any pilots and I only pitch, is because I'm scared. And to be honest starting this back up again is worth me getting over my fears and willing to show what I got. I've done numerous revamps of this series, done several drafts, and this is finally the way I want it to be. I wont be "fan-casting" until it actually gets picked up because I honestly dont feel the need for that right now. I apologize again for not trying harder to get my pitches up and running. But I swear on all that is Pure and Pleasant in this world, I will have a pilot for this

When i did the original pitch for Supergirl, i was going to have her meet Jimmy and develop a bond between the two. Also, glad youre bringing Molly back. Cant wait to see her interact with Chloe and the gang I've read all your pitches for Supergirl, and I don't remember Jimmy being involved in them. And I think I'm most looking forward to writing Molly and Chloe reuniting. I've always loved that episode (3x13 Delete) and The Vengeance Chronicles is part of the reason why 'Watchtower' even exists (so I definitely accept it as canon). Hopefully it will live up to the hype. But there's also some really cool things happening as a result, such as bringing Lionel Luthor and Tess Mercer back that I can't wait to do Thanks for the quick feedback guys! Honestly, it was in my unfinished pilot for it.haha. It was going to be a surprise for the pilot. And bringing back Tess and Lionel will be fantastic. I cant wait for you to show how youre going to incorporate them into the "Reunion".

. Sounds like a good thing in my book. I've wanted her and Chloe to finally have a scene together that didnt have to do with Jimmy or Clark. Plus we also get to see her interact with Lois I posted in the article that her scene is with Lois and another yet-to-be-announced character from the Smallville cast If its Jimmy, im gunna lose it.haha

I did not see this coming. But i cant wait to see what role she plays in the episodes she appears. Considering she was planned for S2 and didnt get a chance to appear. Im glad you found a spot for her in this season Kara will only be in episode 16, 'Smallville'. But there'll definitely be a bit more of an explanation in regards to her appearance in episode 17, 'Destiny' (despite her not appearing in that episode). I've just finished writing her part for the episode, and its a lot of fun. I think you'll like it . Sounds like a good thing in my book. Exclusive: Laura Vandervoort Soars Into 'Watchtower!'Production has officially begun on the highly anticipated 'Smallville High Reunion' episode, and VSGuide has learned exclusively that Smallville alum Laura Vandervoort has booked a part to reprise her role of Kara Kent / Supergirl. While many of the cast from Smallville have crossed over into the spin-off series, 'Watchtower,' this appearance would be Vandervoort's first, and series creator Jack Malone was quick to tell VSGuide everything about it.
"We went back and forth on the idea to see Supergirl show up on ['Watchtower'] but it ultimately felt like something we could do that we wouldn't have had the opportunity to do later on," Malone explained, "Essentially, you'll get to see a fully-realised version of Supergirl swoop in and save the day now that Superman is out of the picture." While fans might get excited about the news, some have to wonder how it's possible — especially when Supergirl left for the future at the end of Smallville's ten-year run. "There'll be an explanation, don't worry," Malone assured, "You might have to tune in to the episode after it — [episode seventeen, titled 'Destiny'] — to get that explanation, but for this particular episode, and her role in it, we just wanted to have some fun and revisit some of these characters from Smallville."
The network confirmed that Vandervoort had already shot her scenes alongside Erica Durance and a yet-to-be announced actor — also from the cast of 'Smallville.' It was said that she would feature in the episode's opener, "saving Metropolis" from its usual, weekly disaster.
Stay tuned for more casting scoops for the upcoming sixteenth episode of the season, appropriately titled 'Smallville.' I did not see this coming. But i cant wait to see what role she plays in the episodes she appears. Considering she was planned for S2 and didnt get a chance to appear. Im glad you found a spot for her in this season

Im glad we will eventually see "Echo" again. He was cut off too soon.haha He felt specific to Season 3 and it's storyline. Similarly to Davis Bloome in Season 8 of 'Smallville,' in that you could have probably kept Davis around after they split him from the beast, but they probably wouldn't have too much to do. With Kyle, I liked the idea of him tragically being bound by time. Hush is bound by time too. They both "die" in the Season 3 finale. But the fact that they could time-travel, and the fact that there's points in time during Season 3 where Kyle was "lost" in time, and Hush was jumping back and forth to bring in bad-guys from the future, it opens the doors for more stories. I get to tell some more story related to Hush/Dusan Al Ghul in these next few episodes, and I have a pretty cool idea to see Kyle show up in Season 5. No one stays gone for too long on 'Watchtower!' The perks of being based on comics, haha! Season 2 definitely has the most hints towards it. I think I was going to flat out reveal it that season but decided to postpone it to Season 4. Well, someone is going to die this season and "what is done cannot be undone", so maybe the ring *does* get taken from them I've always had a big death planned for Season 4 (it's just that I hadn't known who would fit the bill until around Season 3). The death is crucial for how the season reaches its conclusion, and how we come back for Season 5. But it was last season — where I had Hush infiltrate Watchtower and kill/injure so many people only for them to be healed and brought back — that I wanted to explore the tools of resurrection and see what happens when they don't work and someone can't come back. So that's why you'll be seeing the Legion ring, and the Lazarus Pit, and whatever other modes of rewriting fate exists out there. We've only ever had the Legion ring show up twice, I think. It was involved in the Season 1 finale (along with the Legion showing up), and it played a role in the episode where a future Hope surfaced, in Season 3. I guess this would mark the end of the "legion" trilogy, because it'll be the last time it makes an appearance! Well I for one am excited to see who will die. I think I have an idea who it is, but I want to wait until you finally say something to see if its right. Also i cant wait to see how the death leads into S5. Can we get a hint as to when the death will happen?

I'll take it. However, im still salty Kyle never got to enjoy where team watchtower is. I will say, Hush coming back is going to be the coolest shit ever. Vicki gets to have a round 2 I promise we will see Kyle/Echo again in the future. It just won't be this season. But he is definitely scattered throughout time just like Hush/Dusan Al Ghul is. It just felt like there was more of an opportunity to tell more stories about Hush in this particular season than getting to see Kyle show up again. But I wasn't lying when I said you'd see Kyle — the "hero" — again. I'm not sure if you'll see the Legion this season. There's an episode where it could be a possibility, but I haven't locked anything in yet. You'll definitely see their ring come into play, though The answer to that is in episode 17, appropriately titled 'Destiny.' The funny thing is, it's already kind of been answered but it hasn't been put together in a very specific way and offered to the audience or to Chloe, and that's what this episode does. She's going to find out just as everybody else does, but her reaction will be more of a 'shock' and I think the audience's reaction will be more of an " oh." Im glad we will eventually see "Echo" again. He was cut off too soon.haha Chloe's destiny is going to be the thing that might have me committed. I have beenndying to know since S2. And very interesting detail about the Legion. Makes what you have in store for them, something to look forward too. That ring really needs to get taken from this cast I swear.

I guess I'm apart of the group that wants Jason and Chloe to continue you on into next season. It gives us a better look at Chloe and how she lets someone new into her heart Post Olivers mind wipe. Also, kudos for bringing Selina back. Hope she gets a scene with Maxwell Lord or Waller I genuinely love Selina Kyle / Catwoman. I know that might not come across since she hasn't been a regular character since Season 2, but I do love her. I will say that her appearance in episode 14, 'Ghosts' is more about her and Bruce and her storyline in Season 3. Selina doesn't deserve to be threaded into everything that's going on with Maxwell Lord, which was kind of the reason why she wasn't back as a main this season. I felt like she earned a year of happiness, and no one stays happy for too long on 'Watchtower,' so that meant not having her back for 22 episodes. In terms of the structure of the series, seasons 1 through 4 are one big chapter, and Season 5 — the final season — will feel like an epilogue to the series. With that in mind, this episode for Selina will offer some resolution to everything she's had to endure in the past three seasons, and I'm really excited to see the reaction to her arc in the episode. There's some great Bruce/Selina stuff, some more answers about the whole "nine-lives" thing she's got going on, and a pretty big reference to the comics that I finally get to do, so while I can't offer you Selina/Lord or Selina/Waller scenes, there's still a lot going on for her! I'll take it. However, im still salty Kyle never got to enjoy where team watchtower is. I will say, Hush coming back is going to be the coolest shit ever. Vicki gets to have a round 2 Also, any chance of the Legion showing up again before the Season is over? They are heavily connected to Chloe considering she is an anonomly and isnt tied to Destony anymore Speaking of Chloe's destiny, when will the first hints of that get resolved?

Im digging it. Im honestly excited that you are finally doing this arc. I cant wait to see "The Ranger" in action. ARGUS has been my favorite. I feel dumb, but did you already discuss who leads them? Jason Bard and Chloe are a really cute couple. I honestly like the fact that they make every scene they have together, ones i always smile at. ARGUS is run by Steve Trevor. The next in line would be Zinda Blake. Other known agents are Lana Lang (of course), and Pete Ross was referenced in Season 3 as being her "handler." Another mention of it will be in 413. If you're a fan of Jason/Chloe, there's a lot more development and focus coming up for them. Jason definitely sees that there's something still between Oliver and Chloe, and kind of has to figure out if he's okay getting involved with someone who had this whole other life and has a family, and you'll see him start to confide in someone and seek advice about whether or not he should pursue his feelings for Chloe. He's also going to play a role in the Cassandra Cain storyline, and have some interactions with Maxwell Lord in the future. As for Chloe, I think she's in a very complicated situation, but exploring her life post-Oliver is part of the plan for Season 4 and it's something that has been really satisfying to write. She deserves to be happy, and seeing what happiness might look like for her as the season unfolds is going to be something I want to show, and something I want to answer. So yeah. There's a lot more Chloe/Jason coming up! I guess I'm apart of the group that wants Jason and Chloe to continue you on into next season. It gives us a better look at Chloe and how she lets someone new into her heart Post Olivers mind wipe. Also, kudos for bringing Selina back. Hope she gets a scene with Maxwell Lord or Waller
