A skiing trip turns disastrous when college student Zoë Cooper gets caught in a sudden accident hospitalizing her, narrowly escaping brain damage. After recovering, she returns back to college to discover she has developed psychic powers. Able to read people’s mind when she makes contact with them, and move objects by tapping into the astral plane, she must stop demons and corrupted physics (psychic whose strong powers have drove them to power lust and insanity) that threaten to destroy Zoe’s town and the world. Joining her are her friends: Dustin Harper, a young genius who helps Zoë with his computer skills and Renée Indigo, a sweet girl who can sometimes be a klutz and dimwit but stands by her best friend. They both know about Zoë’s powers and help her to stop the threat of evil. Zoë’s a Psionic and it’s up to her to save the world.

'Zoë Cooper'

Zoë Cooper is a Terrison College student who is from a well-off family. During a skiing trip to Switzerland she has an accident which grants her psychic powers. She is kind and caring but will go to extreme measures to keep people safe, even if it means loosing their trust and/or friendship along the way. She is bubbly and fun-loving but is focused on her education which shows in her good grades. Previously, the it-girl and queen bee in high school, she is now an average student on the college hierarchy. She is strong friends with Renée whom she met as a freshman and Dustin whom she has known since she was little. She is aware Dustin has a crush on her but doesn’t feel the same way and instead fancies his roommate, Max.
'Dustin Harper'

Dustin Harper attends college with Zoë whom he has known since birth. He comes from an average family and knows Zoë through their parents who were best friends. He has had a crush on Zoë for years but the closest they have had to dating was when they went to the school dance together because Zoë had recently broke up with her cheating boyfriend and because Dustin wasn’t dating. Zoë is aware of his crush but assures him they are no more than friends. Despite this Dustin still pines for her. He is a young genius and has extreme knowledge and excellent computer skills. His dorm room is like a small library. He isn’t keen on Renée but puts up with her for Zoë’s sake. The two don’t get along because they are opposites: Dustin is academic but Renée is a bit ditzy. His knows about Zoë’s powers.
'Renée Indigo'

Renée Indigo attends Terrison College with Zoë and Dustin. She met Zoë on her first day of college and shares a dorm room with her. She is Zoë’s best friend and stands by her in everything. She comes from a rich family and is the heiress to their fortune. She has many younger brothers and sisters, most of whom she doesn’t know. She is kind to everyone and ignores people’s friendship for her money. Because of this she tries to keep her fortune a secret from most people. She was the first person, other than Zoë herself, to find out about Zoë’s powers.
'Eva Williams'
portrayed by Rachel Skarsten
Eva Williams is a corrupted psychic who is a friend of Zoë. Due to her physic nature she also knows about Zoë’s powers though Zoë doesn’t know it. She has become insane and power hungry from her powers and has set up a few traps to kill Zoë for her powers. Insistent on ruling the world, Eva needs just a few more physic powers to be able to take over people’s mind. Eva knows Zoë through her English class.

'Professor James Smith'

Professor James Smith teaches English at Terrison College. While he may seem like an ordinary batty old teacher he is a lot more underneath. For years he has been investigating psychic energy of the mind. Aware of Psychics in this world and how they use their powers, he is searching for physics in the college unaware two are right under his nose. He is determined and stubborn; convinced his research is more important than lives.
'Max Wilkins'
portrayed by Ben Ziff
Max is Dustin’s roommate. He doesn’t know much about him and they rarely ever speak to each other. He tagged along on the skiing trip and was with Zoë when she had the accident. He is unaware of Zoë’s crush on him and would rather spend his time alone. He doesn’t seem to have any friends but this is his own choice, not other people shunning him. He is considered ‘normal’ by Zoë and her friends. He considers Zoë and her friends weird.
'Joanna ''Joanie'' Smith'
portrayed by Maiara Walsh
Joanie is Professor James’ daughter. The intelligence runs in the family as she is an excelling student. Despite younger than the title characters she attends the same class as them. She is aware of psychics (because of her dad’s research) but doesn’t believe in them as she just thinks her father is mad. She is trained in combat and knows karate. She learnt this as a hobby when she was a child. She is very logical as she always tries to find a way to prove her father’s theories wrong.
Claire Thomas
portrayed by Scout Taylor Compton
Claire Thomas and Joanie Smith go back. WAY back. They've known each other since they were toddlers and attended all schools together. Until, they got to college that is. Joanie attended her Father's college in their hometown whilst Claire went off travelling round the world. She is secretive, cunning and witty; often a sharp tounge with flowing remarks. Despite this she can be genuine and honest: Joanie and Claire are best friends and love each other like sisters.

After a session of exploring her powers Zoë starts to develop terrible migraines and dizzy spells which starts to worry Renée. Meanwhile, after Zoë saved his life, Dustin starts to get suspicious.

When Renee's younger sister (SPECIAL GUEST STAR DIANA AGRON) visits Terrison College to see her older sister not only must Zoe keep her hidden and protect her own secret but when she uncovers that the sister has one of her own she must decide to tell Renee or keep it a secret.

Zoë gets a crash course in psychology when she finds out the mind can be affected in more than one way. A beautiful physic (guest star Summer Glau) is roaming, and seducting innocent males to their deaths with her deadly power.

Eva teams up with Proffessor Smith who suspects Zoe of Psionic abilites to secretly run tests on her and experiment her powers. When Joanie finds herself in a difficult situation. Will daddy be like daughter or will friends matter more than family?

Joanie's old schoolmate Claire (guest star Scout Taylor-Compton) returns to pay her a visit and announces she's enrolling at the university but there's more to her than she's letting on. Meanwhile, Zoe and Max's first date arrives.

SOMETIMES ENVY CONSUMES THE BEST OF US...
Eva's mastermind plan is starting to form as in her quest she makes a shocking action. Joanie who is deep in anger, must learn to quickly forgive and forget or will suffer a terrible consquence.

When Claire discovers a shocking event, it puts her in danger under the deadly eyes of Eva. When she discovers a deep and dangerous secret it's a race against the clock to find Zoe or Die.

TEARS ARE STREAMING DOWN HER FACE...
After the shocking events of the mid season finale, Zoe and the gang, especially Joanie, are distraught. Eva though, won't give any grieving time and is ready for the second round of her deadly chess game.

A Goth (Guest Mia Dearden) at Terrison College is sick of abuse and after an unfortunate encounter finds a way to get her own back. Will Zoe be able to piece this and the dead students lying around campus together or will it be too late.

DREAM A LITTLE DREAM...
Zoe ends up in coma after a terrifying dream, where she has to face her fears and gets a glimpse of the past and possible future. Eva uses Zoe's dilemma to her advantage but is unaware that she has uncovered some useful information of her.
