REALITY CHECK It's the year 2003, and valley girl, Trudence "Trudie" Vanderpoel, seems to have the teenage existence that most girls around the world could only dream of. With beauty, money, outrageous popularity and a boyfriend other girls would gladly kill for, the concept of kindness was completely lost to Trudie as she ruled the school with an iron fist and zero tolerance level for "freaks". However, this spoilt primadonna receives one hell of a wake up call when an accident at what was expected to be the shinning night of her life, Senior Prom, forces her to awaken eight years later in the present year of 2011. Now, twenty-five year old Trudie has no recognition of anything she's done in the past eight years that somehow landed her in a life completely opposite from the one she'd planned or exactly who she is in this present day. With the help of a hesitant old schoolmate whom she once taunted, Trudie must find a way to salvage what's left of her future, while at the same wondering just how the hell she can manage getting back to the past she somehow bypassed. MAIN CAST (2011/2003) AIMEE TEEGARDEN AS TRUDENCE "TRUDIE" VANDERPOELBIO: Eighteen-year-old Trudie had it all — money, beauty, popularity, and an extremely nasty attitude. She had the life all teenager girls dreamed of, until a terrible accident at her 2003 senior prom leads her to wake up eight years later in 2011 to a life completely opposite of what she’d expected for herself. With no idea why she’s suddenly a twenty-five year old and no recollection of the past eight years, with the help of an old schoolmate Trudie must learn to take control of her present, while somehow finding her way back to her past. ANDREJ PEJIC AS HOLDEN FARLEYBIO: Since childhood Holden has been teased for being the “boy with a girl’s face”, one of his main tormentors being none other than Trudie herself. Now, a handsome – beautiful when he so chooses – full grown man, Holden is doing well for himself and is more than surprised when his former high school nemesis reappears in his life and he is the only one who can help her. SUPPORTING CAST JACKSON RATHBONE AS ALEXANDER "XANDER" McCARTHY BIO: The ugly duckling turned swan. Once an awkward, gangly kid who’s classmates never looked twice at, Xander, in the past eight years, has matured in a handsome, more confident, young artist. Though he is very good friends with Holden in the present day, their relationship becomes strained when he is reunited with his high school tormentor. MARQUES HOUSTON AS DEWAYNE CHARLESTON BIO: Since his days ruling the halls of his high school, adulthood has given Dewayne a new outlook on life and helped him to grow as a person. BOD member of his father’s billion dollar company, Dewayne’s life has turned out just the way he always planned – with the exception of the woman he’ll soon be walking down the isle with. SOLANGE KNOWLES AS SASHA VALERIE BIO: Once Trudie best friend and most trusted confidant in their high school years, Sasha has grown into a colder, more vicious individual who wants nothing to do with her former ally. Her life has definitely turned out more glamorous than Trudie’s with her currently engaged to Trudie’s high school sweetheart and all. EPISODES 1x01 Welcome To The FutureSummary: On the night of her senior prom, Trudie Vanderpoel finds her life turned upside down when a crowning accident leads her to wake up eight years in the future. Introducing: Trudie Vanderpoel (Aimee Teegarden), Holden Farley (Andrej Pejic), Sasha Valerie (Solange Knowles), Alexander McCarthy (Jackson Rathbone) and Dewayne Charleston (Marques Houston). 1x02 From Hero To ZeroSummary: While searching for a way back to 2003, Trudie learns some shocking surprises about her present life, and makes a startling discovery about a few people from her past as well. 1x03 Love Don't Cost A ThangSummary: Determined to make the best out of her new life, Trudie decides to throw herself into the dating game. Ill feelings for Trudie from high school cause a rift between Holden and Xander. Guest Stars: Nick Zano as Jack Carson. So, this is just a little idea that I had popping around popping around in my brain. It's really a Dramedy with only a pinch of Supernatural (I assuming waking up in the future would fall in the Supernatural genre. That or Sci-fi). I'm currently working on this as my main project of the moment but I wanna be sure that I can completely see this running for more than a season or two before I think about switching it over to the real pitching section. Any feedback given would be greatly appreciated and valued. ;D

Okay, so, let it be forewarned that I'm a HUGE drama buff. I've seen just about everything from 90210 (old and new) to Golden Girls (it can be very dramatic at time) so it was a given that I'd be anxiously anticipating the air date of this show. So, I've read it from the title to the "End of Episode" and I suppose now is as good a time as ever to review right? Right! So, here goes. "CALIFORNIA BOUND" 1. The Premise. With the whole "dude jumped off a cliff thing" I though it was VERY unique and gave me something that I've never seen before. I thrive on originality so I thought that was a HUGE plus. I swear if it had been something like "boy gets into a fight with random person every other week so he's expelled from school A and goes to school B for a fresh start" I probably would have shot myself... okay not really but you get the point. So, kudos on being original. However, and I'm sorry to have ANYTHING but positive to say, but I just couldn't really see people actually going with the whole "he pushed him" thing. Just saying, Blake, in the intro came off like a nice, studious, pretty normal dude. So one day he just goes homicidal and pushes some poor, morbid kid off a roof when he's already about to jump? Eh, know believe me I am MORE than willing to over look this as I pretty much already have, but it was just something that stood out to me in the beginning. 2. The Characters. Now, I've seen more than my fair share of drama and, automatically if I feel like I can't connect with just about half of the cast, I can't really find myself getting into the series. You have NOTHING to worry about as I already love just about over HALF your cast. Blake: Pretty upstanding guy, nice, solid leading male if there ever was one. I especially love that he was more that willing to admit when he's lost one, very cool. I need to get to know him a bit more for him to be a favorite but I'm pretty sure that'll come sooner than later. Tracy: Eh. I guess I just don't know enough about her yet to pass any judgment. I don't dislike her, but I don't know enough to really feel anything but passive about her just yet. Although I am a fan of Blake Lively so I'm sure she'll grow on me. Pete: Surprisingly, I like Pete. I dunno why but I always find myself liking the asshole of the group just as much as the lead 'cause they usually make for very entertaining storyline later on in the series and I can sense good stuff coming from Pete right off the back. Lucy: Now Lucy is one of those favorites I mentioned. She's cute, funny, quirky, and is one of those victims of unrequited love which I enjoy so much. Plus, her being roommates with Shane's new crush just makes me feel for, and love her so much more. She has some AWESOME lines and I feel like if there was anyone in this cast I could relate to or see myself hanging out with than it's probably her. Charlie: Charlie for me was very funny and a nice addition to the cast. Everybody loves the underdog and I'm no exception. He's not a favorite but I definitely hold him very high on the list of favorites from least to greatest. Shane: Shane is another character who I'll have to get to know more. I don't dislike him, definitely not, but I don't love him just yet either. I like that he stood up for Lucy and his smoothness with the ladies but I just feel like that's all I know is he's loyal and a ladies man right now. Maya: I can't comment. She was there for me, but not really. Besides her walking into Lucy's dorm at the end she really didn't do anything pressing to leave a mark on me. Though I do love her being Lucy's roomie, that's bound to bring drama And, last but most certainly not least... Eve: My FAVORITE! I absolutely LOVE Eve's character. She's funny, has a bitchy side, and is a total gossip. I love Tracy saying "When Eve knows something everybody knows." I love everything I've seen about Eve so far and I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to reading about her character and seeing how she progress as the show moves on. And finally, 3. The Pilot. It was great. I read it from beginning to end and (other than number 1) I couldn't find anything I actually disliked about this. As pilots go, in my opinion it was pretty damned good. I'm definitely reading more of this that's for sure so I'd totally label this pilot a success in my book My overall score for this pilot would be 9/10. Brilliant!

It's awesome that you're so inspired and that you have a general idea of what you want to do with your series, but I think some of it is really similar to what you draw your inspiration from. I personally suggest that you think it over a bit longer and let the idea linger in your mind a little. Try to come up with some extra creative twists that give it more of your own personal touch. For example, how you had them get their abilities by the loss of a loved one, that is an EXCELLENT touch and it's definitely something you can work with. Kind of my feelings exactly. I'm getting a huge "Charmed" vibe from this but with the main cast switched to males (then there's also the whole casting of Drew Fuller) but "Charmed" was sorta my all-time favorite show so I'm really kind of cool with it I suppose. As long as, you know, I don't start reading and instantly feel like I'm reading what I've already watched for years than I'm more than willing to give this a fair chance. Guess I'm just a sucker for anything magic related ;D

Wow, everyone here sure loves their superheroes huh? ;D Growing up I was always more into Disney than Marvel so I have just about absolutely no idea who over half of these characters are, something I'll definitely have to brush up on at a later date if I want to survive on this site But, in all honestly, I'm very intrigued by the pilot. Main reasons are that: A.) like I just said I don't know much of anything about... well ANY superhero who isn't super-stretchy or a big green wrecking ball (looks like you've got both of those covered) so this pilot would be a HUGE help in figuring out just who the hell is who in the Marvel world. B.) I LOVE just about every member of this cast. From Paul Walker to Camilla Belle I've seen and love at leas one movie from just about half every member of your cast. Although, the cast member who REALLY sealed the deal for me: Audrey Kitching. I adore that girl and I'd follow this series just for her character. So, hopefully if this ever does become a show I'll have brushed up on my superheroes by then and won't fell overwhelmed and completely out of my element when I'm definitely reading this

Ooh! If there is one thing that makes for good t.v. (at least for me anyways) it's a brooding, self-loathing vampire... I dunno, it's something about their whole "I hate myself but I'm stuck in this existence without an easy way out so there's nothing left to do but sulk in my own misery" attitude that I like to watch, that's possibly why I found Angel from BVS so compelling during his earlier run on the show... Anyway, getting off topic, big fan of mythology, planning to dedicate some time of my life to studying up on it as it is a very fascinating subject, so it's to be expected that I'd be VERY interested in watching this show progress and see how you deal with fictional creatures. So, while I am in no way even the slightest bit ready to try to pen (or I guess type) anything with this kind of potential, count me on a slot as a reader

Thanks Chris! Sorry it's taken me forever to get back to you... and the WWW in general but, as usual, I barely have enough time to breathe at the end of September let alone do anything involving electronics other than my iPod. And while I thank you and your words of encouragement have totally brightened my day, unfortunately it may be a while before anything comes from this pitch. Me, being the computer klutz I am, accidentally saved over my ENTIRE pilot therefore crushing my spirit and also meaning I'd have to start from scratch... which I REALLY dread doing. So, because that sounds like a trip to hell trying to start over with something I've worked so hard on, I figure I'll just try my hand and something new and possibly come back to this when I'm not too disgusted with myself to even think about the subject. I'm so sorry for wasting space... and time... with this post for it to end like this but, hey, at least I know I'm doing SOMETHING right Sorry everyone

THE "IN" CROWD [/b][/u] You think life sucks when your nobody? Come see how the other half lives. [/i] SUMMARY: When you're an outcast and friendless in high school, that's bad. When you're popular and have everyone analyzing every move you make, that's worse. No one knows this better than the populars of Valley High School in Cheyenne Valley, Florida: Lulu Franklin, Sloan Wu, and Marney Vega. With more secrets to hide than a Republican, these three go through the motions of finishing up their high school years at the same time as keeping their personal issues on completely separate planets from their popularity status. Unfortunately, with great popularity comes even greater drama, and it's only a matter of time before their skeletons start tumbling out. CAST: Troian Bellisario as Lucille "Lulu" Franklin: Lulu is the ring-leader of the "IN" crowd. Heiress to the Franklin hotels and resort fortune, she is the one that every girl at Valley High wants to be and every boy wants to have. Although she may not be the nicest girl around, she is a caring friend to those close to her. Lulu can either be your best friend or your worst enemy. Hayley Kiyoko as Sloan Wu: Not just another pretty face with an amazing fashion sense, Sloan has a brain to match her beauty. One of the top rankers in her class Sloan has big plans for her junior year, starting with running for Student Council President. Now if only she could slow down her partying and drinking habits she's be too good to be true. Joe Jonas as Marlton "Marney" Vega: Marney can be considered the only "normal" one of his clique. He's smart, athletic, kind, and the gay son of one of the most homophobic men in all of Cheyenne Valley. Now juggling to keep his sexuality a secret from his father, his relationship with her brother from his best friend, and the fact that his family is slowly surely going bankrupt away from everyone else, the last thing Marney has time for his high school politics. Chris Zylka as Austin Wyatt: Valley High's own superstar. Austin and Lulu ended their eight-month relationship messily over the course of summer break. Playboy extraordinaire who always gets what he wants, Austin refuses to give up until he has Lulu right back where he wants her. SUPPORTING and RECURRING CAST:Shani Pride as Mara Wilson: Beautiful, spoilt, and conceited, Mara transfers in to Valley High from prestigious DuMont Private in Spain determined to stir up trouble, and take over Lulu’s spot as ring-leader of the IN crowd as she had been at her old school. Brock Kelly as Luke Dawson: Valley High’s bad boy. Luke is notorious for his I-could-care-less attitude about, well, everything. No one knows a lot about him other than he’s the last guy that you want as an enemy. Quick-tempered and secretive, Luke has big plans for his junior year at Valley as well. Wesley Morgan as Jones Franklin: Lulu’s senior older brother, Jones secretly began dating Marney over the course of summer vacation. The two agree to keep their relationship under wraps for both their sakes as Jones has yet to come out publicly and Marney doesn’t want Lulu to know. Unfortunately, these aren’t the least of their worries when they realize that keeping their relationship a secret is the least of their problems. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ EPISODE GUIDE:Episode 1.01 “Back to Black/Pilot” Episode Synopsis: As school starts up again at Valley High, Sloan, Lulu and Marney must deal with the stress of returning, as well as the spreading word of Lulu’s terrible summer secret. ------- Episode 1.02 “Heartbreak Central” Episode Synopsis: Lulu continues lashing out at her friends and family; Sloan and Marney try to help Lulu come to terms with the breakup. -------- Episode 1.03 “Can’t Stop Me Now” Episode Synopsis: Finally ready to get over Austin, Lulu attempts to make the cheerleading squad; Austin’s popularity suffers; Sloan worries that her parents crumbling marriage may be because of her. --------- Episode 1.04 “School of Hard Knocks” Episode Synopsis: Austin gets detention with Luke; Marney feels uncomfortable when dealing with a school psychology assignment. --------- Episode 1.05 “Who’s That Girl?” Episode Synopsis: Lulu must defend her spot as leader of the IN crowd when a new girl shows up plotting to take her place; academic pressure causes stress for Sloan. --------- Episode 1.06 “Don’t You Want Me?” (Mid-season finale) Episode Synopsis: Marney worries that Jones may begin to look elsewhere if he does not take their relationship to the next level; Sloan goes into a depression after a talk with her parents. ---------- Episode 1.07 “Just Can't Get Enough” ---------- Episode 1.08 “Little Girl Lost” ---------- Episode 1.09 “Con-CHEER-acy” ---------- Episode 1.10 “Paparazzi” ---------- Episode 1.11 “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich” ---------- Episode 1.12 “Don’t You Wish You Were Us?” ---------- Okay, so, basically this is my first.... semi-successful attempt at my own little production or whatever ;D I've actually basically completed the pilot besides maybe one and half page left to go. Honestly, I tried to go for an hour-length series but I seriously got to page 27 and.... that was it, so, I figured it was meant to be and that I should go ahead and make this a half-hour show since it is my first attempt and all. I'll try to go for the full hour when I'm more experienced. This is going to be a Drama series 'cause I figured there was WAY too much Supernatural going on and I just wanted to do something a little different so I came up with Drama, and when that wasn't original enough the idea that you always see shows based upon groups of outcast or "normies" like most of us and thus The "IN" Crowd was born. So, if this pitch is well received and I get enough interest I figured I'd post a teaser to see if you guys know what you're getting yourselves into ;D

Okay I I'm in love with this pitch from everything right down to the cast of characters. I love ALL your cast choice and I find it a bit funny how Anneliese Van der Pol goes from playing the dim-witted friend of a psychic to playing the psychic herself! I'm totally looking out for this most definitely!!

Should this actually happen I am VERY excited by the idea of a movie based on the ACTUAL Resident Evil games. My sister LOVES the movies but I've actually played the games so... yeah... not a big fan, and making a character who isn't even in the games a main character... anyways, I'm not gonna rant cause I can go on forever but I am looking forward to this and I'll definitely be keeping an eye out

I REALLY like the idea of this. I've been looking for a good show about witches and warlocks since the series finale of Charmed (I cried by the way) and so I'm looking forward to seeing if this show can fill the aching witchy void in my life

Oh my freaking God! YOU'RE The creator of Gifted! I stumbled across this vs when I was searching the web for different vs to read. This used to star Michelle Trachtenberg and Chad Michael Murray right? I read the pilot and thought it was great. Big fan of Charmed and SO looking forward to continuing to read this should it get produced

I found this VERY intriguing. I am a big fan of Tru Blood and I did notice that the main character being a human-fairy hybrid is, although a bit unoriginal, it isn't like you see it EVERYWHERE on television so I think you can branch away from Tru Blood easily if you really wanted to with this character. I did share the same feelings about the actress chosen to portray Ashley being a lot older than the character chosen to play Cat and, as a fan of Glee and seeing Kristen Chenoweth attempting to portray a 29-year-old on Glee when she obviously looks well over 30 (not that I'm ragging as she is a VERY talented actress/singer) I cringe at thinking of an older actress trying to portray a character too young for her appearance so I'd also suggest a minor cast change for her. So, other than that I'm ALL FOR this idea and would definitely read it should you ever decide to actually attempt at pitching it for real

Okay I totally LOVE this idea! I'm going to have to really insist that you do sit down and try to work this out because I can just about guarantee that you would have a pretty big following on this site for a project like this -- myself included definitely The Scooby Gang was like an icon so I KNOW that lots of people would be looking forward to a new modern series with a whole new gang. I'm totally on board to read if this ever comes into production

Okay, so, just to be sure, with the cast used in Canceled series (i.e. the Protectors) can those actors/actresses be used in other VS or must permission still be granted from their creator, because I noticed on a list on another form those people were still marked as off-limits for use without permission. Just checking for future reference
