Damn, episode two was even better than the pilot, and that's nearly IMPOSSIBLE! Review: Bitten 1x02 "Blood Ties" I think I ended up liking this episode more than the first because it had a more clear and concise storyline. The pilot set up all of these characters, their backstories, and their motivations moving forward, but here, we go to see them really dive into action. Those doubts about Will and Sara I was having when reading the pilot have now passed. Both characters are strong and interesting enough to head this story. I'm loving how their relationship has begun to grow; it's moving quickly, but not so quickly to the point of it being "unrealistic." The mystery just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Who doesn't have a secret on this show?? Wayne, Abigail!? What was up with that at the end?? GAH! I'm getting way ahead of myself. *Calms down* But okay, let's talk about some of the individual plot points of the episode. I really liked the police investigation here. The Sheriff, shockingly, was a cool character to read. Especially that scene when he's speaking to the "FBI." Got a little sassy there. HAHA! Loved it Every good supernatural drama needs that police presence. The guys that are just trying to solve the murder; not knowing what's really going on, but will go to any lengths to get to the truth. Anyway, I'm looking forward to him uncovering some of these secrets himself. I love how the attack on Albert jumpstarted this entire storyline, with Wayne and his soldiers -- Interesting plot, btw. Looking forward to learning more about why these guys do the things they do. And what Ed Hale has to do with it; if he does indeed, work with them. All of these secrets are blowing my mind, in the best way possible. Jeremy was a lot more likable in this episode. Not that he wasn't in the pilot, but the other characters may have overshadowed him a bit. I really liked the first scene between him and Wayne. So much tension between them. I hope their relationship is explored further, though I'm pretty sure we haven't seen the last of Wayne. It's good he came around in the end though, or so it appears. Milo is still awesome. I love that we're already exploring this connection he has with his mother and just where his newfound abilities. That scene in the forest was epic. Who knew he'd become such a bad ass so quickly. Really looking forward to seeing his powers develop more, and just more of him in general. And uh oh... Griffon looks untrustworthy. LOL! HAHA! jks, I don't know. But I'm looking forward to finding out what his story in all of this is. Once again, you're amazing when it comes to describing a scene. I can still visualize everything so well, it really helps keep me engaged with such great details. I knew the dialogue would get better, and you did not prove me wrong. I loved it here; it's a lot more natural and definitely had more wit and personality than in the pilot episode. I especially loved Gwen's line "What? I didn't throw her." lol That was fantastic. Gwen is definitely becoming one of my favorite characters in this show. But they keep piling up. I wouldn't be surprised if I just started loving everybody as the show goes on! Darrin, you've got yourself a really EPIC series here. I'm enjoying the hell out of it so far! xD

Okay, I just couldn't resist reading episode three! You've done it again, with yet another great episode! Review: Bitten 1x03 "Once In A Blue Moon" This episode seemed a little more contained than the previous too. I'm not sure why, because a lot of cool stuff happened. Lots of good action and revelations. This show never fails to deliver a solid story arc! It's got me begging for whatever's coming next! I loved the beginning of the episode. It introduced us to a problem and we got to see the events that lead up to that situation. Jake or whatever his real name was, was a cool route to go. I'm assuming he was a hunter, working by his lonesome or for some bigger group, who knows. But it was interesting for the episode. I didn't think the Sheriff would make the discovery he did so early on! I'm looking forward to seeing if that will cause any trouble for Will and the others. Sara and Will have finally decided to move their relationship forward. I think it's a good thing, and I'm taking quite a liking to their dynamic. They seem to really "get" one another, and their scenes don't seem forced at all. Nice chemistry going on between those two. Also, I think I like Jeremy and Gwen's relationship the most. The scene between him and Gwen's wolf was just awesome! Really loved how he took care of her, even though he thought she might have been the wolf that killed his grandfather. Then, she shifts back and all goes downhill. Luckily, not for long. Damn, now everybody knows about werewolves. This is good, because on shows like The Vampire Diaries, I get a little annoyed when everyone is standing around, clueless as to what is going on. I mean, it's cool for a while, but then it just like "Ugh, would someone just spill? This is getting old!" HAHA! Another dynamic I really enjoy is the relationship between Sara and Milo. This show seems to have deep family roots underneath all the other supernatural stuff, with the Hale's and even the Adler's. And now that we've discovered that Louise is actually not dead?! Whhaa-- How?? B-But... OMG. Mind Blown. When the door bell rang at the end, I was secretly hoping it would be her, but I didn't think you'd actually go there. This show is moving along quite quickly, no unnecessary stalling, and I'm liking it. You're not messing around are you? haha! I knew there was something up with Griffon. It seems like everybody on this show has some ulterior motive, it's like watching a soap opera almost. I don't know who I can trust! Next week, we'll probably find out that Sara has been behind the whole thing. hahaha jks. I'm warming up to Abigail! It seems like with each passing episode, every characters gets a little bit more interesting. She strangely reminds me of Caroline for some reason. I can't really put my finger on it, but the way she talks about Will to Sara. It's giving me Elena/Caroline vibes! haha! I love it. Sorry, I'm all over the place with this review. It's almost midnight, I'm sleepy and I have class a 8 am tomorrow. GAH! Side Note: I don't know how, but I was picturing Gina Torres as Elyssa, long before I read that she was actually cast as her for that role. Weird. I know... Overall, nice episode! I think episode two is still my favorite so far, but this and the pilot aren't too far behind! Crap, now I have to wait a whole week before the next episode.

HOLY CRAP, DUDE, YOU'RE A MACHINE! Lol. When I woke up this morning I was not expecting two more reviews WOW! Thanks a lot!!!
This was one of the easiest episodes to write, thus far, just because like you said it had a clear and concise storyline. When going into the second episode I knew right off the bat that two things needed to happen, Sara had to make the Sheriff more suspicious of Will and that there had to be a fallout from Albert's attack. I feel really bad for killing him off just cause it seems he had become a fan-favorite in the one scene he was in the Pilot. But this is a supernatural show, so who knows who'll I'll bring back Lol. I'm really happy Sara and Will are starting to grow on you and that their relationship has started to slow down a bit. I tried to take all the constructive criticism I got during Pitching and apply it where I could and one of the things was how fast Sara and Will were moving. So, I'm glad it come off realistic and not so... unrealistic. Lol.
Yes, Wayne Sole. I love Wayne Sole. He is a no BS sort of guy, and obviously from the last scene you know that Abigail is somehow in cahoots with Papa Sole. We won't get to see their involvement together until 1.04 A Tale of Two Brothers.
The Sheriff is a "facts" sort of guy, and the facts just don't add up. He has had several "murders" happen in the surrounding woods of Crescent Bay and no real clue as to what or who is doing it. Sheriff Reeves has lived here his entire life so I'd like to think he knows these woods like the back of his hand, which means he'd also know the wildlife. And there is nothing in these woods that could do that much damage. So he's on a mission to find out. I think every great supernatural show has a sassy Sheriff Lol. This isn't the first time he's had to deal with suits regarding something he couldn't explain.
We learn a little more about this mysterious group in 1.04 A Tale of Two Brothers. With also learn what Ed has to do with the group. Wayne gets a "flashback" so to speak, in 1.06 Cabin In the Woods, which actually shows how he became part of this group. We learn a lot about the whole Sole family.
Jeremy is a character who's gonna go through A LOT. Lol. The more he learns about the supernatural the more he learns about himself and the more he learns about himself the stronger he becomes. His relationship with Wayne is strained, and I will say it right now *SPOILER ALERT* The incident where Jeremy was supposedly beaten by a drunk Wayne, didn't happen the way it was remembered. This isn't revealed until episode 1.12 Legacy, but Jeremy figures it out long before than.
Milo's power right now is tied to his emotions. He's got no control over it whatsoever, however it seems to kick start when he's panicking Lol. Griffon at first is untrustworthy. He's not there to be Milo's friend. But he's not there because of Milo at all. Milo's just a open door to what Griffon's really there for.
Thank you! I'm really glad you're enjoying it so far. I'm happy that you think the dialogue has improved. That was definitely my biggest worry.
Thanks, Chris, I really appreciate the kind words and thanks again for reading and reviewing. I'm just getting ready for work now, but I will definitely respond to your other review as soon as I can Lol. Thanks again.

Thank you so much, Chris!! Yeah, this episode was what I like to call a "character building" episode. We learn more about the characters but a villain is thrown in to keep it interesting Lol. I love shows that start out in the future and then show the events leading up to it. I thought this was the perfect episode to do it in because it builds mystery as to who is after them. Jake Anderson's real name is Scott Gale but that's not revealed until 1.05 Lustful Acts of Aggression when he returns in a bigger role. Yeah, I had this inner struggle whether or not the Sheriff should be brought into the loop so early on but then I thought well how naive can this man be? Lol. I mean at some point he's going to realize his daughter is a monster hunter, and that all these supernatural things exist, but how soon is too soon? Like I mention above the Sheriff is a man of facts. He needs to know how things work, and why things exist. So him finding out early on makes his character arc interesting I think. Thanks! I love their chemistry. They're what I think "true love" and "love at first sight" would be. Instant connection, instant dynamic, instant love. They're gonna go through a lot, but I think as long as they have each other they can conquer anything. I mean there is DEFINITELY going to be bumps... hills... in the road, but I like to think that at the end of the day love conquers all. I'm a romantic that way Lol. However I try and keep it somewhat realistic Lol. Expect a BIG mistake to happen in the near future. Albert definitely raised Jeremy right. Jeremy is a good guy. He's kind and compassionate. I think that by saving the very thing that could of possibly been the reason his grandfather is dead was almost a tribute to Albert. I totally agree with you! I hate shows that beat around the bush when it comes to these type of secrets. And if I am being completely honest this episode was all about getting everyone on the same page. Lol. From here on out these characters need to face everything together. That was the point of this character building episode. Lol. HAHA! Is it her? Hmm. Lol. Things are definitely not what they seem, which you find out next episode. The presence of Louise/Not Louise is going to shake the core of the Hales and Ed's gonna find out that nothing stays buried. Lol. The same with the Adlers. Next episode their older brother Gabriel swings into town and old wounds are very much present. HAHA! I'm telling you everyone has secrets Lol. Some of them have secrets they don't even know about. Griffon's intentions are made clearer next episode. You get an understanding of him better I think. HAHA! Sara definitely has a HUGE secret that she has no idea about. It's not revealed until 1.08 Truth Seeker but I can tell you that if you read next week's episode, I pretty much hand you what she is on a platter Lol. Decipher the episode and figure out her secret Lol. Yeah, I can totally see some Caroline in Abigail. She's definitely a girls girl in her everyday life, but she lives this duel life and it's only a matter of time before the two merge into one. HAHA! You gave me three reviews in like two days, trust me I'm okay with all over the board Lmfao!! I love Gina Torres ever since Cleopatra 2525. And there is no one more fitting to play Elyssa than Gina Torres, IMO. She's gonna be sticking around for a while. I think it's episode 1.09 she makes her departure. Thanks, Chris! I really appreciate the review!! I'm so glad you're enjoying this series.

Just finished episode 2 and I agree with Chris...it was a lot more solid than the pilot: both in storytelling and in dialogue and character movement. The sibling relationship between Gwen and Will continues to be a highlight for me and I'm glad to see sparks of that even in such a high stress situation.
Jeremy didn't really have a whole lot to do in the pilot and I thought this episode made him more of a 3 dimensional character, so kudos on that. I love the history and the mystery shrouding both who's controlling the visceras and how they are connected to Will and Gwen.
I missed Milo being in the action, but I enjoyed his storyline just the same and that mystery is an intriguing one that I hope to find out soon. (*hint* *hint*) Overall great job. You kept the momentum of the pilot up and even exceeded it, IMO. Will read 1x03 when I get a chance.

Thanks for reading and reviewing, Guy!
I love writing scenes involving Gwen and Will because of their banter and the snarkiness they have with each other like most siblings do. I'm glad this episode felt stronger to you. I had so much that needed to be said and done in the Pilot that it was nice to actually have a more focused storyline in this episode.
Yeah, Jeremy was kinda just there in the Pilot. He needed to be introduced because he's a key player in the series but his role in the Pilot was slimmed to none. I liked that I was able to dive into him as a character in this episode a bit. Unfortunately he's still the victim but that changes over time. He really grows. Yeah, these new age Visceras are disciplined which is something Gwen and Will have never seen or heard of before. They create their own Packs, and follow orders, they've evolved. We actually learn more about that in episode 1.09, I believe.
Yeah, Milo definitely took more of a backseat role in this episode. In the first few episodes I try and divide up "screen" time so to speak so that every character had a spotlight role. This changes in 1.04 when the characters start to become a group working together. HAHA! Yes, what Milo is will be revealed for sure in 1.04.
I'm glad you enjoyed the episode. Thanks again for reading and reviewing!!

Bitten 1.02 Blood Ties ReviewSo, read the second episode last night and I have to be honest when I say it was a whole step up from the pilot episode. I mean, I did really enjoy the pilot episode but something about this episode just really clicked with me and I found myself really getting into the story line, where there were times in the pilot that I found my attention wandering. So, yeah, great episode and if your writing's only going to improve I can't wait to read some of the later episode in the season But, moving on to this actual episode. I'm gonna be skimming though it and just jotting down things as I'm reminded of them so apologies if it's all a bit disjointed First up, the start of the episode caught my attention straight away so props for that! I do have one little complaint though and that was the use of the description "Red velvet runs along his finger tips." Yes, I get that it was blood but for some reason just using the words 'red velvet' to describe it I felt was a little over the top. And then I could only think about literal red velvet for the rest of the scene and that made for some pretty funny imagery that took away from the seriousness of the scene, for me anyway. I like how we find out that the whole werewolf thing is kinda like a virus in this episode, at least for people who are bit, anyway. It was really interesting to see how quickly things can go to shit when you start with just one infected person. Oh, Will and Gwen's interactions at their house? I really, really, loved that. It seemed so genuine and their interactions when they're like that, alone and able to be themselves around each other, are fast becoming some of my favourite scenes. I'm not going to even try and guess what's going on with Milo but the poor guy, everyone else seems to know whats happening to him except him. And the introduction of Griffon was interesting. Was he the wolf following Milo around? Is he even a werewolf? I feel like he might be. Oh well, I'll be keeping an eye on him anyway XD Dr. Troy. More like Dr. Murder. It was interesting to learn about Jeremy's father but I felt like maybe he was really easily convinced to trust werewolves when it seems like he's spent most his life killing them? I dunno, with so long believe one thing I feel like it would have taken a bit more than successful team escapade to make him suddenly become a werewolf sympathiser. Oh almost forgot about Sara and the whole being bitten by a werewolf but not having any kind of side effects from the bite. I was wondering that in the first episode when she got bitten but forgot about it until now. It'll be interesting to learn why that's the case with her, is it something directly related to Sara or is it more werewolf mythology and people can only be turned a certain way? "I didn't throw her" Oh Gwen, darling, you make me laugh XD Also, what's going on with Will? Totally didn't see that coming. And Abigail? Does everyone in this town have secret agendas? It makes me really excited for the next episode! Anyway, my only real qualms with the episode were a few SPAG errors here and there and the things I've previously mentioned. Besides that I really enjoyed this episode and the characters and all the story lines you have going. I look forward to reading the next episode because Bitten is becoming one of my fast favourites

My reaction at the beginning of the episode: "Wait, what?! Albert's a........ NOW WAY! Best twist ever" and CUT TO BLACK. Damn that was a good episode. So, here I go with my review of Bitten: 1x02 Blood TiesFirst off, I totally agree with what everyone is saying. This episode really felt more together than the pilot, which made me enjoy it more, although the pilot was still awesome. I love how the teaser really set up the whole story line for this episode with the 'virus' Albert had been infected which soon spread throughout the hospital, causing mayhem. Again i have to say, I really love the interactions between Will and Gwen, it seems so natural and real which makes them such believable characters. I have to say i am enjoying Gwen more than Will, she really does seem to be the real saviour in the show, always coming to the rescue and killing the bad guy in the end. I really did think it would have been Will's turn to step up, but no. I'm not complaining, cause I love Gwen being bad ass, so yay for Gwen. Poor Jeremy, he seems to always be the victim. I really enjoyed his character in this episode though. Meeting his father and finding out about their relationship was one of my favorite parts. His father, Wayne, will definitely be one to watch, even though it looks like all is well in the end, i'm not sure he is one to be trusted. I'm looking forward in seeing more of Jeremy and Wayne's relationship, as well as diving into finding out what it is Wayne really does (I know obviously killing werewolves, but why? lol) and who he works for. Sara really came into her own in this episode, which I'm really happy about as in the pilot I felt I didn't really get as much out of her as I hoped. I think maybe she trust's Will maybe a little two much considering she's has only just met the guy, but he did save her life after all and maybe that's enough for her. I just feel like she doesn't know an awful lot about werewolves so why would she trust something she doesn't fully understand? But that's just my opinion, I guess it just takes a lot for to trust someone/something. I'm certainly enjoying the relationship between Will and Sara, it does seem pretty genuine that they like each other. I can see them beginning to slow it down, which is good as i felt before it was a little rushed. Seeing their romance blossoming will be great to read I think, and hopefully now love triangle for a while. LOL. One thing did kinda bug be about the relationship between Sara and Gwen. I don't know if I overlooked something but when did the bickering begin? I just felt like the whole them two sorta not getting along was random as i don't really remember them ever properly being introduced. Correct me if i'm wrong, maybe i'm forgetting something. However, I did really enjoy the line "What? I didn’t throw her." On to Milo, the most mysterious character of them all, with his magical abilities. I have to say, I loved the vision scenes. Picturing him walking through the cemetery and into the old church with his sister on the alter really gave me the creeps, it was really well written and so easy so picture in my head which must of been difficult to write so kudos. Do you know what else gave me the creeps, Dr. Summerhaul. Now, what was that all about with the needle in the back of the neck?! I don't trust this one... Another character was introduced during Milo's arc in this episode and that's, Griffon. I haven't really got an opinion on Griffon as we haven't really learned much about him. I hope he is a good guy though, but then again he maybe have been the werewolf that was stalking Milo? Again, well done on your descriptions, the scene where Milo is on the side of the road and finally gets to grips (sort of) with his fire ability was one of my favorite scenes from this episode. I gotta say, in the beginning when Dr. Troy was in the on call room alone in the dark, I was really creep-ed out. That was some scary writing dude, it really got my heart going when the nurse walked in followed by the cleaner. Overall, this episode was just fantastic, so much action yet not over dramatic. This show really does amaze me, there is so much mystery that I just can't wait to read more. Everyone in this little town has their secrets and I just can't wait to find out exactly what they are. And just like I expected, cliffhanger(s) that would leave me speechless. I mean, Abigail?! WTF? I was thinking about her during the episode, saying to myself, what is her role in all of this, she hasnt really done much. But now I'm just like "whats going on?!". haha. And Elizabella at the end with "her love". Now, that's something i just HAVE to know more about, who is this unknown?! This is definitely a 10/10 episode. Oh, and to add, Poor Albert, I really did think he would last the full season I'm rather sad he's gone, I will miss him and Jeremy's talks. Also I'm really intrigued as to why Sara hasn't caught the werewolf virus.

Thanks so much, MJ, for reading and reviewing!! Now I feel pressured to write better episodes. Oh, dear Lmfao!! I'm kidding. Thanks so much. Hopefully I can keep this momentum going. I'm glad you liked the opening. I wanted to capture predator and prey but in a "calm before the storm" sort of way. If that makes any sense. It does in my head Lol. Then all hell breaks loose. Yes, I can see why that would be over the top Lol. This is what happens when I try not to use the same description twice Lol. But yeah, I will admit not my finest description lol. It is. Although it was created by magic hundreds of years ago, it's very much a virus. The first two werewolves bite someone, then those wolves bite someone, and so on and so forth. However, as you can plainly see with Will and Gwen, it's also a virus you can be born with. I really wanted to show the danger that these werewolves posed not only to the town but this universe, and why the hierarchy is not only needed but essential to keep werewolves in check. I love writing Will and Gwen scenes... minus the werewolf drama... they pretty much mirror how my sister and I are like in our "disagreements". Lol. One of my favorite Will/Gwen scenes is actually coming up in episode 1.04. Not everyone. I will say *SPOILER ALERT* that Griffon is not following Milo because of his magic powers. That was an accident. He accidentally stumbled upon that little secret. Lol. Milo's not the target, he's Griffon's way in. That is all. Lol. Dr. Troy is interesting because I was originally gonna have Albert Sole all wolf'd out and eating people through out the hospital. I eventually talked myself off that ledge because I doubt Albert would do that. I think he'd be the type of man that would force himself to stay good and not give into his animalistic tendencies. I think had he of survived he would be more like Will and Gwen than a Viscera. Hence I needed a new villain, and Dr. Troy seemed willing and able. Lol. I don't think that he trusted them completely. I would like to think that nod at the end was to acknowledge Gwen's heroics in saving Jeremy, but Wayne is definitely a man of habit, and trust me he hates anything supernatural. I mean the only reason Will and Gwen weren't harmed was because he was ordered not to harm them. And the only reason he turned to them for help was because half his men had been mauled by Visceras. We find out how Wayne first got involved with the Juggernauts (army group) in 1.06. Sara has a BIG episode coming up in 1.08 where it's revealed why she didn't turn into a werewolf. Will knows why. He is starting to put the pieces together in this episode... he doesn't know exactly what she is yet, but he's knows somethings up. Hence the reason he avoided the question "Has there been any other humans bit without infection?" Gwen wasn't there when she got bit by the Viscera, she showed up a little late to the party, so by the time she realized Sara was there Sara was already high tailing it into the forest and Will was in hot pursuit. I love Gwen. She's my dream girl. Tough, beautiful, funny, sassy... oh yeah, definitely my dream girl. Lol. Will's an example of what happens when a werewolf tries to avoid his true nature. Gwen embraces what she is, but Will fights it. And what happens when you fight against a virus? It grows stronger, it adapts. This is the price of the curse, you can't outrun it. Will's practically a ticking time bomb. Abigail working with werewolves to eradicate werewolves. It's sort of poetic. Lol. Everyone has a secret. I love secrets. They make life interesting. Lol. Thanks, MJ. Yeah, my editor and I are going to have a "talk". Lmfao!! I try and catch as many as I can but sometimes it's hard when you know the story like the back of your hand so you miss them. Lol. I'm so happy you're digging the characters and storylines! Thanks again for reading and reviewing! I appreciate it.

Thanks, Jay, for reading and reviewing!! Oh yeah I did. Lol. I don't like nice, happy people, and this is what happens when someone's a little too nice. Lol. Thanks, Jay! Yeah, like I stated above, this episode was the easiest to write because I had set it up in the Pilot. It had a clear direction and I knew what needed to be dealt with. Mayhem... I like that. Gwen's the big sister. Big sisters gotta look after their little brothers, and potential love interests. Lmfao!! Seriously though, I wanted a strong female who could kick ass but be vulnerable when needed. That's Gwen in a nutshell. Well Will did volunteer to take on the first Viscera... that's gotta count for something. Lol. Will has his big heroic moment in episode 1.03. Jeremy is definitely the victim... now. Lol. Things start to turn around after 1.04. Enough is enough for him, and he'll reach that point where he needs to fight. His relationship with his father is based on lies and deceit. Things become more clear in episode 1.06 when we find out how Wayne became apart of this monster squad. Sara trusts Will because up to this point he has done nothing but prove to her time and time again that he wants to protect her. However, you may notice little snide comments about Gwen throughout the episode. That was my subtle way of saying that she doesn't trust all werewolves. Lol. I mean by the end of the episode she's realized that maybe Gwen can be trusted too. I mean she did save Jeremy. She also finds the whole "supernatural" world fascinating because of how alive she feels in it. I am glad that she has grown on you. Sara is like my personal ragdoll. Expect her to be tossed around... a lot. Lol. HAHA! I promise Will's older brother Gabriel and Sara will never be a couple Lol. Well, this season, who knows where following seasons go Lol. I hate that friggin' love triangle on TVD Lol. Looking back, now, I can see it being a bit random, but like I said above it was more of me trying to show that Sara didn't trust all werewolves. It's really not until the basement and Gwen's willingness to do whatever it takes to save Jeremy that Sara sees that Gwen can be trusted. I mean she did almost hit her in the Pilot when Sara ran out the beach after Gwen "killed" Elizabella. Lol. Thanks, Jay! I'm glad you enjoyed that vision. It's going to be around for a bit Lol. It's going to be Milo's greatest worry that it's going to come true. I mean up to this point all of his visions have come true. Dr. Summerhaul is great. Don't expect him to be sticking around for long. We will learn more about him, and his relationship to the voice on the phone with Ed in 1.06, I believe. Griffon will be sticking around. He's in it for the long haul. We don't really learn much about Griffon until 1.03 and 1.04, however it isn't until 1.05 that we get confirmation of who he really is and why he's there. Thanks, Jay! I'm glad the descriptions are painting a clear picture for you. I'm always worried I'm doing too much or not enough. I want people to see it like I do, and I'm glad it's working so far. I really think Milo needed that moment. I mean in the Pilot this fire power just happened to him, so I think he needed a scene where he had some sort of control over it, even if it was just for a second or two. I think my favorite scene in this episode was Dr. Troy and the Nurse in the on-call room. It showed how Visceras are made. He couldn't help himself. He couldn't fight it. I think one of the scariest feelings in the world would be not having any control over your own body, and urges. That's why I love that scene. HAHA! Thanks so much, Jay. I'm glad you could really get into this episode and liked it that much! Yeah, Abigail's role is important. She's playing a dangerous game and it will soon bite her in the ass. She's juggling this duel life and what happens when this comes to light? Yes, Elizabella and "her love". You won't have to wait long to find out the identity of this evil doer. Expect his reveal at the end of 1.04. Yeah, I really didn't expect him to be such a hit in the Pilot Lmfao! He's actually modeled after my own grandfather. He was a big part of my life and I like to think he made me the man I am today. The next episode is my "opus" to him. Especially Jeremy's final scene. Sara's special. Ed's got some explaining to do... *shakes fists*. But don't expect this secret to come out until 1.08. Thanks again for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate it!!

Bitten 1.03 Once In A Blue Moon ReviewSo, finally caught up on Bitten so I'm already for tomorrow's (today's? I dunno, it's Wednesday here, don't know if it's ticked over to Wednesday for you yet XD) new episode. Anyway, ontp the review for episode three! I think I've figured out what my problem with the first episode was: the story flow. Episode two and this episode I've felt have flowed really well and I get so caught up reading them that I'm not thinking about page numbers or how long I've been reading, I'm just busy enjoying the story! Another thing I loved about this episode was the progression with each of the characters. There seems to be a lot of mysteries in Bitten but I never feel like I'm being stringed along just for the sake of it. Like, there's little things being revealed here and there that keep me wanting more and not getting put out by the fact that I don't know all the answers yet XD And speaking of mysteries and suppresses, what the hell was that ending?! Omg, I don't even know what's going on anymore, I was totally surprised by that ending and kinda can't wait to find out what's going on there. Okay, back on track: I still love Gwen, she's totally my favourite character in this series. Though, I'm really enjoying Griffon as a character too. He seems kinda fun, even with his secret agenda XD And Milo, who've I've been pretty 'eh' on so far, I felt was a standout in this episode. I really liked him researching just what it is he can do, it was so cute in that he's kinda gone 'well, this is a thing so I might as well learn about it'. I was quite iffy on Sara and Will's romance at first because it just seemed to happen so fast in that first episode, but now that it's been slowed down a bit and we're getting to see them get to know each other a bit better I'm beginning to quite enjoy it. Oh, before I forget: Jeremy. That scene at the start when he speaks to the urn in the car? That totally made me sad-smile XD He also had a really great story in this episode. In fact, I think everyone had cool stories in this episode, haha! But yeah, I'll bring my rambling review to a close now. I really am enjoying Bitten with each new episode, it just keeps getting better and better! I can't wait for episode four, maybe we can get some answers about what the hell is going on with everyone!

Thanks so much, MJ!! You posted at 12:15am my time... It's today. Lmfao! Yeah, I would agree with that. I think I spent more time trying to set things up in the Pilot than I did locking down an actual plot, so things were a bit 'here and there'. HAHA! Yeah, I have tried so hard to lower the page count on these episodes and I just can't do it. Lol. So, I'm glad that page count is not too horrible. I hated LOST because of the secrets... Okay, hates a strong word because I loved LOST Lol. I hated being strung along and never given any answers. With this series I have tried to give some secrets while creating more just to keep people interested. It's another reason I shortened the first season from 15 episodes to 14 episodes... to tighten that shit up Lol. Also, I give away secrets without coming right out and saying "this is a secret revealed" Lol. **SPOILER** watch for this in the next episode. Yeah, that ending causes a lot of crap in the next few episodes. What has Ed been hiding? Expect some of his secrets to spill out next episode. I love writing Gwen and Griffon's dialogue. I think they sort of have a similar personality, even with Griffon's hidden agenda. However, expect Griffon to tighten up a bit in the next few episode as his agenda starts to become clear and within arms reach to him. He takes his job seriously but he's conflicted. He's starting to enjoy Milo's company. Rock... hard place. Yeah, Milo's not afraid of what he is, because it's who he is. He even made a comment in the Pilot about how everything's changed and how who he is at that moment is who he's supposed to be. He's discovering who he is and he secretly loves it. I'm glad that their relationship is growing on you. There's a reason why Sara's so attracted to Will, and why Milo's powers are developing now. All this has to do with Sara's unknown secret. Things are not gonna be all rosy Wara / Sill (Just trying it out Lol). Jeremy's storyline in this episode was one of the hardest to write because it was extremely emotional for me. Jeremy's relationship with Albert is a mirrored image of my own with my grandpa. With Jeremy's flashbacks I wanted to show how Albert was there through the good and bad. Thanks, MJ, I'm glad you enjoyed it!! A lot of answers are given next episode. **SPOILERS** Gwen gets answers to how Elizabella knows them, Elizabella's lover/King is revealed, Answers are given to Louise, what Milo is, is finally revealed. Lots of good stuff. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, MJ!! I really appreciate it.

REVIEW: 1.02 "Blood Ties"
Okay, so, it's BITTEN catch up time. I've been slacking... A lot. XD But yeah, LET'S GET ON WITH IT. Please obey the rules and regulations established by the Brady Brown Reviewing Company, and you shall be fine. Moooooving on...
Right off the bat, I can see we get straight into the storyline with Blood Ties. I think I enjoy the plot in this one more, but that's not to say I didn't enjoy it in the pilot, but I feel like this one moves at a nice pace.
My favorite aspect of this show, is the mystery that comes with it. Everyone has something to hide, and it keeps me reading, because I NEED TO FIND OUT, OH MY GOD. I know you told me some things but... But now I don't even remember. -shakes fist- And if I had to pick a favorite character (mystery or non-mystery related) it would be Jeremy. From the pilot, it was totally Milo, but... But I don't know, Jeremy was a lot better in this episode, than the pilot. He just really stood out to me. XD
Speaking of characters, and characterization in general, you've got it pretty good. They all have their own voices, and I can't say I dislike a main character... Yeah, Ed is still not my favorite person, but that's all I'm going to say on that. And the dialogue, while better, still could be improved. But I'm sure it does as the series progresses, so I won't get into that.
Ugh, poor Hanson man! Never getting in on the action. XD
Another tiny little nit-pick of mine (you probably hate me, I know.) is that Wayne seems very trusting of the werewolves once he needs their help. I don't know, maybe a little more convincing would have worked better for me. But it wasn't, like, a mega deal, but it did somewhat bother me.
OKAY. GOOD STUFF NOW. Gwen and Will. Their interactions. Oh. My. God. I LOVE THEM. Yeah, it's totally realistic, and it just feels so genuine. My favorite chemistry so far, no doubt about it! XD
So, that ending. THAT. ENDING. Damn you, Darrin! Oh my God, you monsters! But yeah, this episode was better than the pilot, in my opinion. And besides those few nit-picks I had, and a couple of SPAG errors, this was a really great episode! Keep 'em coming!
9/10

Thanks for reading and reviewing, Brady!
HAHA! It's okay, I understand. I will try my best to obey the rules and regulations. Lol
Yeah, this episode was definitely direct. I had set it all up in the Pilot so it was the easiest to write as well. I try and keep all the episodes at a nice pace, mix and matching scenes to keep people interested. I also try and write scenes that get right to the point and don't flounder around to avoid boring the reader Lol.
HAHA! Yeah, there is lots of secrets that unfold throughout the series. Some are given early on, others build up to a big reveal. I try not to hold back the secrets for too long because I know how incredibly frustrating it is when writers toy with people. Lol. I love Jeremy. I think out of all the characters he's more of an image of myself. So, that means I love myself... I guess I don't have any self-esteem issues. Lol.
Thanks! That's one of the hardest things, I've found, when writing, is trying to get the characters to have their own voice. I'm happy that it seems like I've done that. HAHA! Ed is not a main character but his actions directly effect the main characters in the series. His secrets come out sooner rather than later and trust me this man will be anything but dull Lol. Yeah, dialogue is always my weak area. I think it gets better the more comfortable I get with my characters for sure.
It's funny I have this zany idea for an episode in season two which follows Hanson around for a day, sort of like cops Lmfao!! I love how incredibly dumb he is. Lol. He definitely makes me laugh when I have to write a scene with him in it. Lol.
Wayne had no choice but to trust Will and Gwen. I mean most of his team were attacked and missing, he had to make sure no one else in the building had the infection, and that the innocent people still in the hospital were safe. He was definitely backed into a corner, and in all honesty he didn't trust them, not completely. It's one of those situations where you have no choice but to trust the devil you know. You know? Anyhow, that's what I was attempting to get across Lol. And I don't hate you, Brady. Lol.
HAHA! I love writing their scenes. One of my favorite Gwen/Will scene is in 1.04 A Tale of Two Brothers (shameless plug). Hilarious! Their bickering makes writing a lot of fun Lol.
HAHA! Yes, unfortunately you're gonna see a lot of people die in this show Lmfao!! I'm pretty horrible Lol. Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!! Yeah I have horrible grammar Lol. You are welcome, World. Lol. Wow!! Thanks a lot. Thanks again for reading and reviewing!!!

Sorry, I was trying to collect my thoughts. It's not everyday I get sandblasted. Lol.
Well, I'm glad you didn't completely hate it, that there were a few things I did correct in your opinion. I can't make any excuses except that I am a new writer. I don't claim to be anything but, so I can understand that I need practice and possibly guidance.
As for the SPAG errors. I've always had issues with grammar, since I was a kid, so I'm not shocked that would be a major issue. The same with spelling. Hell, I'm lucky if I can remember how to spell my own name most days. As for: " badly needs a proof reader to properly pick this stuff out as at times it was just embarrassing." I don't know, I just think that maybe there was a more tactful approach to getting your message across.
I know I need improvement in my dialogue, for sure. I'm not a subtext sort of person, I usually say what I mean and mean what I say, so I'll try and work on that with my characters in the future. Same goes for building stronger personalities for the characters so they sound differently and are not so wooden.
I've actually noticed an improvement in my writing too, in comparison to The Boogeyman, so thank you for noticing. I tried to take some of the notes given from you and Vaughn from the Boogeyman and use them. Clearly I have a ways to go.
Thanks again for reading and reviewing, Tony. I really do appreciate it.
