"Imagine. A place where there is no limit. A place where everything is nothing but nothing can be everything. A place where ideas can be reality. A place that can warm your heart with love, or turn your blood cold with fear. This is that place. Where anything and everything is possible. Do you dare leap into the Void?"Were you fascinated by the Twilight Zone? Were you intrigued by the Outer Limits? Were you frightened by Tales From The Crypt? Then this is the show for you. This would be an anthology series, every episode being completely stand alone and having its own unique characters and setting, with the only connection between them being a paranormal or sci-fi element. If picked up, this wouldn't just be a one or two man job. Anyone and everyone would be welcome to come in and write an episode that you would come straight from your mind, completely unrestricted. So only one question remains... do you dare leap into the Void? Allan Tolliver ( Walton Goggins), newly sentenced, arrives at Ptolomaea Prison late and is quickly thrown into a cell with bunkmate Henry James ( Michael Emerson). As the guards yell "Light's out", they prepare to sleep. However, Allan notices the cell door is open, and that the rest of the prison seems to be empty... What he steps into is nothing short of Hell...

Okay, I think this is a brilliant idea!! I'm a huge fan of shows like Tales from the Crypt, Fact or Fiction, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Twilight Zone, all those great shows. And I love the concept of a whole series where any writer is welcome to submit and write a one off episode like a mini movie. This could work really well here I think. XD

This truly is brilliant. The possibilities for a show like this are pretty much endless, and I can't even imagine the twists and turns each episode would bring about. I love anthology shows, and I love the idea of one on theVPN even more. I'm in full support of this idea, and I think opening the show up to anyone willing to write for it is a great idea! XD

Twilight Zone is one of my favorite shows ever...I think you can bet on me throwing my hat into the ring here.

This sounds so epic. Love the whole idea of everyone being included, genius.

I think this could be awesome. All these different writers throwing out one-time scripts sounds freaking epic. XD Like Chris said, the possibilities are endless. I totally support this, and saying this NEEDS to happen. XD
But I just have one question: would the scripts be approved, and, if so, how would they?

Everyone, thanks. I don't pitch often so its nice to get some positive feedback!
You'd pitch the idea through a PM or I'd set up a backstage board or something along those lines, and I'd give it a green light or not.

I approve of this idea But really, I would love to see this developed for VPN, and if it's picked up, I dare leap into the Void

I think this is such an awesome idea. The concept of having people writing their own episodes and being completely free to do whatever within that episode is awesome, and you'd get such variance and creativity! I'd love to see this get picked up and I would love to be a part of something like this

Why hasn't this been picked up already, that's the question. We don't really need to see a pilot for an all-together anthology series, do we?

But once this voting round is over, I'll move it into the voting thread and the Committee + Current Showrunners can discuss it and we'll decide how to go about it from there.
