Jack, after carefully examining the credits, I believe I know who the person coming over from Smallville is... and I'm exited!

Hahaha. Jack....I expect Helena and Vicki to be kicking some ass this season . Preferably I think a cat fight should be in every finale and one actual episode.haha And also since your bringing in Zatanna I can't wait to see her interactions with Bruce as the rest of the home team. Which leads me to this question..... What's the status of the home team in this new season? Even though the catfight was brief, I loved having that little moment between Selina and Vicki. Of course it wasn't personal though. As for this season, there's an 80% chance you'll get a catfight between two main female characters within the first 3-5 episodes of the season. XD The "home team" as you put it- even though I still haven't found an official name for them yet (mainly because I find it kinda goofy)- are pretty much over. At the moment, Perry's serving as the "eyes in the sky" and we'll see how he comes into the role, and how he fills those shoes. There's Vicki, who is very much using her job as a reporter as a tool to repair the city, and then you have Batman, who- while he agreed to find help in Chloe in the finale, he's very much separated into his own world, working primarily with Gordon, as opposed to Perry and Watchtower's resource. Huntress is rogue, and Helena has really spiraled down an extremely dark path that I'm really excited about writing. She's going to be quite the source of conflict for the others. Not sure what's going this far into the series ...I'm only on episode 2 of Season 1 but loving the hell out of it so far...awesome opening credits for S3 can't wait to see what you have in store for us Jack. Keep up the good work. Thanks! xD I was going to try and take a small break to focus on school until the rest of the term before starting work on season there, but I'm so pumped, I've been getting straight into it. Started writing the premiere last night- have the teaser done. I'm glad you're enjoying the first season so far! XD Jack, after carefully examining the credits, I believe I know who the person coming over from Smallville is... and I'm exited! I'd love to hear some speculation! XD I can say that its not a definite thing yet. I'm trying to find a way to bring a certain Smallville vet onto the show, but am not 100% sure I can do it for the episode I want. Hopefully things will fall into place, though. (hint: they weren't in the credits)

Well Jack they need a name . I have a few if you want to hear them Meanwhile Catfights are a plus. I seriously want Dinah and Huntress to fight . And if Vicki kicks Talias ass i will be happy . Also I hope you actually make an inshow reference on how the league is doing. Along with Bruce or someone commenting about how the "home team" is over And I have a clue who it is. And HOW that character can actually be integrated into the season Also Jack....this is for you....considering the HYPE for how much this season 1 episode rocked

Jack, I just watched all three opening credits back to back, and I just appreciate and love season three's even more now. They are all fantastic, but they seriously keep getting better and better each time!!
I'm thinking it'll be the same way for the actual seasons xD Season 2 was fantastic, so it's going to be interesting to see how you'll top it! I'm sure you will though... no pressure or anything. haha jks jks

I'm really excited about having the big bad Hush as the season's baddie, as well as bringing in Talia Al Ghul. Those two DC Comics Characters are really going to be fun to work with, and I have one of the show's first original characters that I get to develop from scratch and integrate into the show which I hope I don't screw up. Hahaha. But yours and everybody else's kind words are keeping me semi-confident, which is great. XD

And HOW that character can actually be integrated into the season Haha, at the moment, I'm pretty against having a team name. I don't actually see them as having a "code name" sort of thing for their "team" and haven't really ever viewed them as a "team" at least not on par with The Justice League, or the X-Men. So yeah, not too keen on giving them an official "team name" on the show. Dinah will be quite absent from the season. At the moment, she won't be in a whole bunch of episodes. I did enjoy writing some of the Dinah/Helena moments when they sort of had that familial/friendship kind of connection from "Purpose" onwards. They don't exactly have anything against each other. Helena is going to be a very angry character, and there are specific people she's pissed off at that are going to experience the brunt of her rage. Dinah isn't one of them. More than likely we'll hear about the league. The references sort of make themselves, I try not to force any- like randomly have Bruce question Zatanna about the League's status for the sake of finding that out. It has to be in context- if it does, the references will surface, I promise! As for who MIGHT be coming into the show for an episode (who is a Smallville vet), I know what can bring them into it, and how to do it- I don't know whether or not it will fit and how much relevance they can have in the central plot. That's probably my main concern. But, I really want to do this because I know its been a popular request for the past two seasons now.

Well I honestly can't wait. Helena going the dark side is something I have been waiting for. As for Chloe being dead I can't wait to see how you come about bringing her back. But knowing you....it's going to be fuckong awesome I'm also excited for Zatanna to be on the show. Her appearance is much appreciated. And I'm honestly excited for Hush to appear. He is as creepy as can be. And I can't wait to see the "smallville" twist you show with him

Jack, if Talia starts dating Bruce, and Selina is still around, you should totally have Selina confront her!

Just In: Emma Stone to Play 'Iconic' Role This just in: Emma Stone signs on for Watchtower's third season in a recurring role as an iconic character from the Batman comics. Any guesses? Did someone say Barbara Gordon? Well, if you did, you're right! VSGuide can confirm that the actress has snatched the role of the Commissioner's daughter, who, in the comic books, serves as 'Batgirl', and later, after being crippled by The Joker, steps into the role of 'Oracle'- a position similar to Watchtower. But, don't get too excited yet... Producers tell us that while they're introducing the character, her well known counterparts as both Batgirl and Oracle won't be tackled this season. "For this universe, Batman doesn't have any sidekicks," Malone said, confirming the Bat-less Barbara, "However, Barbara will prove to become a very resourceful character- she shares a lot of characteristics with her father, is very charismatic, and a bit of a gadget-geek. Establishing her in the universe is very much our aim [for Barbara] this season." The character is said to appear in a handful of episodes, peppered throughout the season, but can be expected to be in the third episode that brings back one of the many Arkham inmates who escaped in the season finale, and- "Their paths will definitely cross." Excited to see Barbara Gordon on the show? Who do you think will be the first of the Arkham escapees to appear this season? Sound off below!

YAY! Batgirl is one of my favorite characters from the bat family, and I'm really excited! Barbara was a good character on BoP so I'm excited to see you bring the character back

WOOT! That's exciting news! Barbra Gordon is definitely up there in my top (insert number here) comic book characters. SHE IS SO AWESOME! SHE'S LIKE HELENA. But no one, NO ONE, can ever top Helena. Ever. Anyways, I remember asking you, in the S2 Discussion Thread, if you had plans for her, and you said yes, and I was all "WHEN IS THIS HAPPENING?! Omg." But I kept that to myself. Soooo, THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT.

Soooo, THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT. I'm really excited about this addition to the cast. On one hand, having Gordon as a main character means digging more into his backstory, and that involves his daughter- so having Barbara on the show opens up that avenue. I'm looking to have a bit of a tormented side to Gordon's past- I think, he's a much more grown character than some of these younger characters on the show, so he's already gone through his lowest of the low moments which is going to be fun to start digging up. On the other hand, just establishing Barbara's character this season, and making that platform to throw layer after layer is exciting- I want to keep her around until the end of the series, and very much like Vicki, have her importance to the show gradually increase with each episode she's a part of. As for Helena, I'm most excited for her story this season. Love writing her. Knowing you're a fan of her, I'm gonna be making plans like "will Brady like this? Will he hate it? Will it be a good hate?" HAHAHA. XD
