So, second episode was pretty great. All in all, I think I'm going to stick around with this until the end. And the ratings were still pretty high, for the CW anyway. But the flaws: the voice overs (OMG. THE VOICE OVERS. GET. RID. OF. THEM.) and some of the acting (Katie Cassidy could dial it down a tad bit with her courtroom scenes...), kept it from being A-MA-ZA-ZING. BUT THIS SHOW IS STILL EPIC.

Hold up, Brady. That's the love of my life, Katie Cassidy, you're talking about there. Lmfao! I'm pretty pumped to watch this when I get home. I was out last night so I missed it, but got it set to watch at 5pm after I watch American Horror Story Asylum.

Watched 2nd episode and is improving. As Brady said, the VO can be annoying at times and don't think needed. The ending was really the best, those last few moments set on the island. What a way to end the episode as a cliffhanger.
The one worry has to be, what will they do once all the names listed are finished with? Thats surely one season alone sorted and then where.

The second episode was perfect. I especially loved the focus on Laurel Lance, as I felt she was a huge flaw in the pilot for me. Now, I really like her, and its a plus that I can see the chemistry between her and Oliver now (whereas it wasn't as touched upon in the first episode). At the moment, other than Oliver, my favourite characters seem to be Moira and Thea Queen- the mother and the sister are really great aspects of the show. And Oliver's bodyguard is also a pretty awesome addition.
The show is really fast paced, and the voice over felt much less forced and odd-sounding than it was in the pilot- it had an almost "Nikita" touch to it that worked for me. So yeah, really loved this second episode. Can't wait for FREAK'N DEADSHOT NEXT WEEK.

First image of Jessica De Gouw as The Huntress, who will make her first appearance on Arrow's November 28th episode!Much like Christopher Nolan's Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, Huntress's outfit was tailored for functionality rather than style. As executive producer Andrew Kreisberg explained, "She's basically wearing a cape and a purple bikini in the comic. That wouldn’t play so well. So her costume is much more functional while also being sexy and you see there are also hints of purple, which ties into her comic book costume. We also think that on our show, no one is wearing a costume — they are uniforms or outfits. Also, in the comic, Helena is devoutly Catholic. You can see in the Kevlar she’s wearing on her chest, it’s actually in the shape of a cross, which we thought was really cool." So what can we expect from this version of Huntress on the show? "What we really liked was that on an emotional level, [Huntress] and Oliver are both damaged by their pasts," Kreisberg continued. "As we say on the show, they've both gone through a crucible and come out the other side. This is the way they're coping, but somehow, Oliver has taken the darkness inside with him and is doing something positive with it. She's taken the darkness inside her and is seeking revenge and doesn't care who gets hurt in the process. All of these interesting philosophical discussions: What is vengeance? What is justice? Where do you draw the line and how far is too far? And then the fact that she's hot and Oliver is into her makes it all the more complicated. [Laughs]" While Huntress is only slated to appear in two episodes, there is still the chance we may see more of the character in the future. Said Kreisberg, "It's two episodes for now but we definitely hope we see more of her. We certainly set her up as an interesting foil for Oliver and we're excited to see where else we can take her." Not even gonna lie, that last scene in tonight's Arrow had me smiling. I love Moira, the mystery behind her is great, and her relationship with Oliver is one of my favorites on the show so far. And the preview for next week looked EPIC. I freakin' LOVE this show!

Doctor Who's Alex Kingston Comes to Arrow
Hello, sweetie! Doctor Who's Alex Kingston will soon be joining The CW's Arrow in a recurring guest star role.
According to EW.com, the British actress will play Dinah Lance -- Laurel's mom and Detective Quentin's ex-wife -- who returns to Starling City to make amends with her family and find closure in the tragic death of her other daughter. In the comics, Dinah was the first Black Canary, with her daughter following in her footsteps - but so far on Arrow, we've yet to hear about any superhero alter ego in the Lance family...
Kingston will make her debut in an episode later this season.
