Hey guys, There's about three weeks until the Season 4 premiere. I'm looking to make a few more posts leading up to October 3rd, but if you had any questions for the new season then I'd be more than happy to do a write-up and post it back here!

Im assuming here, that while youve been busy in the real world, you have basically gotten probably the first nine episodes done.

Im assuming here, that while youve been busy in the real world, you have basically gotten probably the first nine episodes done. I've just started working on episode eight, 'Frost.' I would probably have to say that episode seven, 'Elseworld' has been my favourite to write so far. A lot of great character moments, some returning characters, and it's always fun to explore parallel universes. Other than that, I also really loved writing the season premiere, 'Restoration,' and episode four, 'Batwoman.'

You know I'm a sucker for alternate universe stories.haha Cant wait to see what you else you have in store for this season. You and me both, buddy. Going to Earth-2 in Season 3 was a lot darker and a lot more miserable. The way it was established on Smallville didn't offer much room for me to work in, so I made it very much about tying things up for that world in a way that matched that tone. You might see a little, somewhat happier snippet of Earth-2 in 'Elseworld.' As for the main world explored in 'Elseworld,' it's going to be a lot more vibrant and colourful and it was a lot of fun to write because Gotham City is usually none of those things, haha.

Episode #4-08: "Frost" Written by: Jack Malone Produced by: The VPN UPDATED 20/09/2016 - DC Comics' Killer Frost, portrayed by Jaime Pressly, makes her first appearance in this episode. She is said to share her debut in an intense confrontation with Vicki Vale (Yvonne Strahovski). - Series Creator Jack Malone told VSGuide that the episode is all about love and heartbreak. "We have all these promising relationships that are beginning to blossom on the show, and we contrast it with Killer Frost who isn't just heartbroken, but she's been given this power that makes her pain and her anger a dangerous threat for the city." The DC Comics villain is said to be quite determined take her vengeance out on the men of Gotham, especially those in visible relationships. "You'll see her narrow in on a specific couple in the episode." - Speaking of romance, this episode is said to feature a date between Chloe (Allison Mack) and Jason (guest star Robert Buckley). - Lana (Kristin Kreuk) makes a difficult decision in this episode that will offer dire consequences for her by episode's end. - Dinah (guest star Alaina Huffman) offers Oliver (Justin Hartley) some shocking news.

So basically Dinah gets pregnant, and naturally she's asking for a choice. Im calling it.hahaha And Chloe and Jason have a date? Can i say I want this relationship more than Oliver and Chloe?! Dont get me wrong, i ship them way harder than life itself. However, I feel that Chloe and Oliver are on different roads, and I hope once he finds out the truth, they decide to not get back together, no matter if they have a child inbetween them. Getting back together is too easy.

Writing the eighth episode now makes releasing things and responding to things difficult because I just want to blab and tell you so much. But I will say that this season involves romance for all the characters — some new dynamics, and some old — and I'm committed to honouring all of them, whether they're popular or not, or whether they are going to end up together or not. I love that there are people who want to see Chloe/Oliver together, and others who want to see Oliver/Dinah together. And I appreciate the support for some of the new relationships forming, like with Chloe and Jason. Hope you enjoy this first half of the season starting October 3rd

I love them together, however, if Chloe cant get him back, then i'm alright with that. Jason and Chloe can be my new OTP.....for now.hahaha Speaking of Dinah, will she interact with the other members of Team Watchtower? Like Vicki? Or Babs?

Jason and Chloe can be my new OTP.....for now.hahaha Speaking of Dinah, will she interact with the other members of Team Watchtower? Like Vicki? Or Babs? There is a lot of Dinah / Black Canary in this season compared to last, so you will see her around quite a bit. I debated bumping her up to a series regular but she plays more of a supporting role in comparison to the other main characters. But she is still very present. As for her interactions with Team Watchtower, I'm not sure if she's had much interaction with Vicki so far. She's interacted mostly with Chloe, Oliver and Helena at this point, but I'm only eight episodes into the writing process. As for Barbara, you'll have to see what happens with her in the season premiere. I haven't had to write for her since then. Take that for what you will... All I can really say about Chloe and Oliver is that it's like writing a completely different relationship. I mean, there are shades of the past involved because Chloe remembers everything, but it's a very different dynamic to the one we saw in the first two seasons of Watchtower (or saw on Smallville). And there's a lot of anger and distrust involved from Oliver, and Chloe is kind of consistently heartbroken from their interactions because she doesn't have the power to make him remember or the luxury to forget. So it's a whole new journey of it's own to explore in Season 4 that I'm really excited about writing. In terms of Chloe and Jason, I hope they're viewed as a legitimate thing. I'm not writing Jason as a roadblock to Chloe/Oliver. I'm not writing Oliver/Dinah as a road block for Chloe/Oliver. I'm really committed to all the relationships on the show that will be featured this season, which is not to say they will all be "endgame" but they'll be very, very important for these characters and their journey.

But whatever you do with her, will it involve the other main characters? Or at least drive some of the plots? Oh and btw, i cant wait for the reunion episode. . Are you nervous for that episode? Or do you already have an idea for how its gunna work?

Or do you already have an idea for how its gunna work? Yeah, Dinah's story is kind of an extension of where we left her in Season 3. She feels like Gotham is screaming at her to get out and to leave. It's where her mother died. It's where her shop burnt to the ground. It's a hub of horrible memories. So that continues to play a role in her story in Season 4. What happens with Barbara obviously impacts Gordon. There is one other character involved, but that's all I can really say. As for the Smallville High Reunion episode, I'm ridiculously excited to write it. I already have it locked in for the back half of the season. The specific number won't be announced until early next year. My goal is to see as many of the series regular characters from all ten seasons of Smallville involved in some capacity, and I think it'll happen. I'm not really nervous about it. That might come when it's time to sit down and actually write it. It's more the idea of getting to write all these Smallville characters and dynamics in a single episode that makes me super pumped about the whole thing. Hopefully the end result is satisfying

Also Poor Dinah. Lets hope she doesnt lose the wee baby. And speaking of Team Arrow, how is Mia? How is she faring? And will you do a crossover with MSCU for Roy? And i know ive been MIA, but im working on a project. You'll like it when i eventually put it out there. All I will say is the Title is Guard, Red, and The Archer and its my own spin on the hero genre. And the beginning of my so called "Brave Universe." I hope you like it. But enough about me. Tell me more about Batwoman

I hope you like it. But enough about me. Tell me more about Batwoman Yeah, it should be a good one. There's so many characters I miss from that show and miss writing. I'd like to have Tess in it somehow, and Jonathan and Lionel. We'll see what happens There hasn't been any mention of Mia in these first eight episodes. I think we can just assume she's holding down the fort in Star City. I'm pretty certain she'll surface at some point this season, but definitely not in the first half. So stay tuned for her! As for Roy, there aren't any plans to use him. I'm not writing a Green Arrow show so I don't intend on using all the characters from his universe. He's definitely free reign on MSCU. And unfortunately, I've got all the episodes locked in for the season so there's not much wiggle room for a crossover. But I think Alex has a lot of exciting things planned for Season 2 (and beyond) for MSCU that involve some DC characters crossing over into Maggie and co's world. It's good to hear you're working on something, buddy. Still hoping the day comes when you have your show on theVPN. As for Batwoman, she's the only new character on Watchtower that has blended so well into the show from day one. I feel like she's been on it since Season One. I will say that there are snippets of her "origin story" but that there hasn't been much room to delve into it completely. I've taken a few creative choices that differ from the comics in order for her to click right with this unit of characters and this take of the DC Universe (first established by Smallville, of course), but a majority of it is right out of the comics. I'm hoping there's time to explore more facets of it as the season progresses. In terms of some scoop on her: she will have a romantic relationship on the show that sparks quite early on in the new season, there is an interesting link between her and Lana that involves life outside of Batwoman, and there is a mystery involving something between her and Maxwell Lord that involves her father, Jacob.

Can you tell me what the girls who grew up in Smallville go through this season together? I don't want to give too much away. I'll just say that Chloe considers Lana a part of her family — she even added Lana onto her family tree as a sister back in Season 2 of Smallville — and so they share a very sisterly dynamic with one another and hold a lot of trust in one another. That's what we fall on with those two in Season 4 of Watchtower. They're family. A development happening in the first half between these two characters is something I don't really want to give away, but it's something to certainly look forward to in the first nine. On top of that, you can expect to see Lana share a lot of intense scenes with Oliver, and some heartfelt interactions with Helena. And like Katherine, she's going to have a romantic relationship this season that will be revealed in episode 4, 'Batwoman,' that just might shock you.
