Im glad we will eventually see "Echo" again. He was cut off too soon.haha He felt specific to Season 3 and it's storyline. Similarly to Davis Bloome in Season 8 of 'Smallville,' in that you could have probably kept Davis around after they split him from the beast, but they probably wouldn't have too much to do. With Kyle, I liked the idea of him tragically being bound by time. Hush is bound by time too. They both "die" in the Season 3 finale. But the fact that they could time-travel, and the fact that there's points in time during Season 3 where Kyle was "lost" in time, and Hush was jumping back and forth to bring in bad-guys from the future, it opens the doors for more stories. I get to tell some more story related to Hush/Dusan Al Ghul in these next few episodes, and I have a pretty cool idea to see Kyle show up in Season 5. No one stays gone for too long on 'Watchtower!' The perks of being based on comics, haha! Season 2 definitely has the most hints towards it. I think I was going to flat out reveal it that season but decided to postpone it to Season 4. Well, someone is going to die this season and "what is done cannot be undone", so maybe the ring *does* get taken from them I've always had a big death planned for Season 4 (it's just that I hadn't known who would fit the bill until around Season 3). The death is crucial for how the season reaches its conclusion, and how we come back for Season 5. But it was last season — where I had Hush infiltrate Watchtower and kill/injure so many people only for them to be healed and brought back — that I wanted to explore the tools of resurrection and see what happens when they don't work and someone can't come back. So that's why you'll be seeing the Legion ring, and the Lazarus Pit, and whatever other modes of rewriting fate exists out there. We've only ever had the Legion ring show up twice, I think. It was involved in the Season 1 finale (along with the Legion showing up), and it played a role in the episode where a future Hope surfaced, in Season 3. I guess this would mark the end of the "legion" trilogy, because it'll be the last time it makes an appearance! Well I for one am excited to see who will die. I think I have an idea who it is, but I want to wait until you finally say something to see if its right. Also i cant wait to see how the death leads into S5. Can we get a hint as to when the death will happen?

I won't be giving away when the death will be. It could happen at any point from episode #10 through to #22.

Exclusive: Laura Vandervoort Soars Into 'Watchtower!'Production has officially begun on the highly anticipated 'Smallville High Reunion' episode, and VSGuide has learned exclusively that Smallville alum Laura Vandervoort has booked a part to reprise her role of Kara Kent / Supergirl. While many of the cast from Smallville have crossed over into the spin-off series, 'Watchtower,' this appearance would be Vandervoort's first, and series creator Jack Malone was quick to tell VSGuide everything about it.
"We went back and forth on the idea to see Supergirl show up on ['Watchtower'] but it ultimately felt like something we could do that we wouldn't have had the opportunity to do later on," Malone explained, "Essentially, you'll get to see a fully-realised version of Supergirl swoop in and save the day now that Superman is out of the picture." While fans might get excited about the news, some have to wonder how it's possible — especially when Supergirl left for the future at the end of Smallville's ten-year run. "There'll be an explanation, don't worry," Malone assured, "You might have to tune in to the episode after it — [episode seventeen, titled 'Destiny'] — to get that explanation, but for this particular episode, and her role in it, we just wanted to have some fun and revisit some of these characters from Smallville."
The network confirmed that Vandervoort had already shot her scenes alongside Erica Durance and a yet-to-be announced actor — also from the cast of 'Smallville.' It was said that she would feature in the episode's opener, "saving Metropolis" from its usual, weekly disaster.
Stay tuned for more casting scoops for the upcoming sixteenth episode of the season, appropriately titled 'Smallville.'

Im glad you found a spot for her in this season Kara will only be in episode 16, 'Smallville'. But there'll definitely be a bit more of an explanation in regards to her appearance in episode 17, 'Destiny' (despite her not appearing in that episode). I've just finished writing her part for the episode, and its a lot of fun. I think you'll like it

I've wanted her and Chloe to finally have a scene together that didnt have to do with Jimmy or Clark. Plus we also get to see her interact with Lois

It's not Lana. It's someone from the Smallville cast, specifically, and not the 'Watchtower' cast. Jack Malonehave you written a scene with Lana and Lois and Clark?) Nothing has been written for Lana yet.

Exclusive: Missy Peregrym Reprises 'Smallville' Guest Role in Upcoming Season 4 Episode of 'Watchtower!' Production continues on the highly anticipated Smallville High Reunion episode, and VSGuide can confirm another blast from the past coming back to celebrate: Missy Peregrym ('Rookie Blue') has signed on to reprise her 'Smallville' Season 3 role of Molly Griggs.
During her original appearance on 'Smallville,' Molly Griggs was a genius engineer who was able to develop mind-control software that compelled people to follow any direct order she could program into their head — a software she used in an attempt to kill Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack). After being caught and taken in by Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum), Molly was expected to get some "real help" for her psychological problems, only for it to be revealed in 'The Vengeance Chronicles' — an online webisode series set during the fifth season of 'Smallville' — that Lex had her involved in Level 33.1, and she broke out with a vendetta to kill him. Luckily for Lex, she was thwarted and admitted to Belle Reeve. Now, Griggs is back and she's going to prove herself to be one of the biggest threats Chloe has ever gone up against: Brainwave vs The Watchtower!
"When we were looking for someone to bring back as a threat for the Smallville High Reunion episode, it became immediately clear that Molly Griggs would be the perfect choice for that role," series creator Jack Malone told VSGuide, "Not only does she fit in with our overall theme of control [for Season 4], but she's a threat that has so many connections to so many different characters, all of whom will be under the same roof for her to play these mind-control games." Malone continued by telling VSGuide that Lex Luthor is a sponsor of the event, and Molly's initial target is Luthor himself. "She has a vendetta against him that feels quite justified, and it allows us to reference some monumental stories in the Smallville universe, like Level 33.1," the 'Watchtower' creator admitted, excited about the many ties to it's mother-show, "When she learns that Chloe Sullivan is still alive, she adjusts her plans to hit two birds with one stone."
One thing that Molly's return allows 'Watchtower' to do is bring some characters back from the great beyond in a really unique way. "There are a lot of characters from the main cast of 'Smallville' that were killed during the show's ten-year run, and having them all surface as ghosts felt a little cheap and cliche," Malone acknowledged, "Without giving anything away, we're going to be able to bring back characters like Lionel Luthor and Tess Mercer [for the episode] and do some really cool — just really different things with those characters that aren't just throwbacks or a severe haunting. It's new, and its meaningful and it's powerful, and we're really excited about it."
So, what do you think about the episode's big threat? Are you excited to see Molly return? Who do you think will be under her spell when her software spreads throughout Smallville High? Be sure to let us know your thoughts!
